Background
With the development of science and technology, the SIM card of the terminal is also continuously updated. The SIM card of the terminal is getting smaller and smaller in size, and the evolution cycle is also getting shorter and shorter. The advent of Embedded SIM cards (eSIM cards) brings more convenience to users. The eSIM card is a conventional SIM card that is directly embedded on a chip of the terminal, rather than being added to the terminal as a separate removable component. Therefore, the use of the eSIM card can make the terminal thinner and lighter, save the manufacturing cost of the terminal, and the user does not need to manually install the SIM card.
Because the existing eSIM technology does not support the migration of the eSIM profile between the two eSIM terminals, when a user wants to use the subscriber identification number (e.g., a mobile phone number) activated on the old eSIM terminal on a new eSIM terminal, that is, when the user performs the migration of the subscriber identification number, the user must go to the provider service network to reapply a new profile, thereby reducing the convenience of the migration of the subscriber identification number between the two eSIM terminals.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions better understood by those skilled in the art, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
With the development of science and technology, the SIM card of the terminal is also continuously updated. The SIM card of the terminal is getting smaller and smaller in size, and the evolution cycle is also getting shorter and shorter. When a user uses a terminal only supporting the SIM card and needs to migrate the user identification number, the SIM card of the terminal can be directly inserted into a new terminal. In this process, the user does not need to go to the operator service network to reactivate the SIM card inserted in the new terminal. When the user inserts the SIM card of the old terminal into the new terminal, the user can directly use the new terminal to communicate with family members.
It is easy to understand that the presence of an embedded SIM card brings more convenience to the user. Embedded SIM cards are conventional SIM cards that are embedded directly on the chip of the terminal rather than being added to the terminal as a separate removable component. Therefore, the terminal can be lighter and thinner by using the embedded SIM card, the manufacturing cost of the terminal is saved, and a user does not need to manually install the SIM card. When the user needs to activate the embedded SIM card, the user can go to the corresponding operator service network point to apply for a profile.
Optionally, since the global system for mobile communications architecture (GSMA) specification does not support migration of a profile of an embedded SIM card on 2 eSIM terminals, when a user uses the embedded SIM card on a new eSIM terminal, that is, when the user performs migration of a user identification number, the user needs to go to a corresponding carrier service network point to re-apply for a profile corresponding to the new eSIM terminal. Therefore, when the user uses the eSIM terminal to migrate the user identification number, the migration process is very complicated, a large amount of time is consumed by the user, and the user experience is poor. The embodiment of the application provides a user identification number migration method, when a user migrates a user identification number, a first terminal can acquire a target profile generated by an operator server based on an identification number migration request and send the target profile to a second terminal, and the second terminal can directly acquire the corresponding target profile, so that the convenience of migration of the user identification number between two eSIM terminals can be improved, and the use experience of the user using an embedded SIM card can be further improved.
Fig. 1 illustrates an exemplary system architecture 100 of a user identification number migration method or a user identification number migration apparatus that may be applied to the present application.
As shown in fig. 1, the system architecture 100 may include a terminal 101, a terminal 102, a terminal 103, a network 104, and an operator server 105. The network 104 is used to provide the medium for communication links between the terminals 101-103. The network 104 may include various types of wired or wireless communication links, such as: the wired communication link comprises an optical fiber, a twisted pair wire or a coaxial cable, and the WIreless communication link comprises a Bluetooth communication link and a WIreless-FIdelity (Wi-Fi) communication link.
A user may use the terminals 101-103 to interact with the operator server 105 over the network 104 to receive a destination profile from the operator server 105 corresponding to a user identification number. Various communication client applications can be installed on the terminals 101-103, for example: video recording application, video playing application, voice interaction application, search application, instant messaging tool, mailbox client, social platform software, etc. The terminals 101 to 103 may further be provided with various management interfaces, for example: user identification number migration-in interface, user identification number migration-out interface and the like.
The terminals 101 to 103 may be hardware or software. When the terminals 101-103 are hardware, the terminals can be various electronic devices with a display screen, including but not limited to smart phones, tablet computers, smart watches, smart wearable devices, and the like. When the terminals 101 to 103 are software, they may be installed in the electronic devices listed above. Which may be implemented as multiple software or software modules (e.g., to provide distributed services) or as a single software or software module, and is not particularly limited herein.
When the terminals 101 to 103 are hardware, a display device may be further installed thereon, and the display may be various devices capable of implementing a display function, for example: a Cathode ray tube display (CR), a Light-emitting diode display (LED), an electronic ink panel, a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), a Plasma Display Panel (PDP), and the like. A user can check information such as displayed characters, pictures and videos by using display equipment on the terminals 101-103.
It should be noted that the method for migrating the subscriber identity provided in the embodiment of the present application is generally executed by an eSIM terminal. The eSIM terminal includes, but is not limited to, a smart phone, a tablet, a smart watch, and the like.
The operator server 105 may be hardware or software. When the operator server 105 is hardware, it may be implemented as a distributed server computer cluster consisting of a plurality of computers, or may be implemented as a single server. When the operator server 105 is software, it may be implemented as a plurality of software or software modules (for example, to provide distributed services), or may be implemented as a single software or software module, which is not particularly limited herein.
When the terminal 101 is an eSIM smart phone and the terminal 102 is an eSIM smart phone in the system architecture 100, an interaction process between the terminal 101, the terminal 102, and the operator server includes:
when receiving the emigration instruction of the initial profile for the user identification number on the terminal 101, the terminal 101 may obtain the terminal identifier of the terminal 102 and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the terminal 102, and when obtaining the terminal identifier of the terminal 102 and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the terminal 102, the terminal 101 may send an identification number migration request carrying the terminal identifier, the card identifier, and the user identification number of the terminal 102 to the operator server. When the operator server generates a target profile based on the identification number migration request, the operator server may transmit the target profile to the terminal 101, and the terminal 101 receives the target profile, the target profile may be transmitted to the terminal 102, and the target profile includes a terminal identification, a card identification, and a user identification number.
It should be understood that the number of terminals, networks and operator servers in fig. 1 is merely illustrative. There may be any number of terminals, networks and operator servers, as desired for implementation.
The following describes in detail a migration method of a user identification number provided in an embodiment of the present application with reference to fig. 2 to 9. The user identification number migration apparatus in the embodiment of the present application may be the system architecture shown in fig. 1.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a user identification number migration method according to an embodiment of the present application.
As shown in fig. 2, the method for migrating a user identification number includes:
s101, receiving an emigration instruction of an initial profile aiming at a user identification number on a first terminal, and acquiring a terminal identification of a second terminal and a card identification of an embedded SIM card on the second terminal.
According to some embodiments, the first terminal refers to an eSIM terminal that can perform the migration method of the subscriber identity number, and does not refer to a certain eSIM terminal. For example, the first terminal may be a smart phone using an eSIM card, and for example, the first terminal may also be a tablet computer using an eSIM. Similarly, the second terminal refers to an eSIM terminal that can execute the user identification number migration method, and does not refer to a certain eSIM terminal. For example, the second terminal may be a smart phone using an eSIM card, and for example, the second terminal may also be a tablet computer using an eSIM. In the embodiment of the application, the first terminal takes an a smart phone using an eSIM card as an example, and the second terminal takes a B smart phone using an eSIM card as an example.
It is easily understood that a control of "migration of the initial profile of the user identification number" is newly added to the profile management page of the eSIM of the first terminal. The display interface of the first terminal may be as shown in fig. 3. When the first terminal detects that the user clicks the control, the first terminal generates an emigration instruction of the initial profile aiming at the user identification number on the first terminal and sends the instruction to a processor of the first terminal. When the processor of the first terminal receives the emigration instruction, the terminal identifier of the second terminal and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal can be obtained. The terminal Identity of the second terminal may be an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) of the second terminal.
Optionally, for example, when the a smart phone detects that the user clicks the control of "emigration of initial profile of user identification number" of the a smart phone, the a smart phone receives an emigration instruction for the initial profile of user identification number of the a smart phone. The smart phone A responds to the emigration instruction, and can acquire the terminal identification of the smart phone B and the card identification of the embedded SIM card on the smart phone B. For example, the terminal identifier of the B smartphone acquired by the a smartphone may be 85462479895123, and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the B smartphone is 2358745962145863.
According to some embodiments, the first terminal may obtain the terminal identification of the second terminal and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal through bluetooth, a WIFI network, or the like. For example, when the smart phone a and the smart phone B establish connection via bluetooth, the smart phone B may send the terminal identification of the smart phone B and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the smart phone B to the smart phone a. The smart phone A can acquire the terminal identification of the smart phone B and the card identification of the embedded SIM card on the smart phone B.
S102, sending an identification number migration request carrying the terminal identification, the card identification and the user identification number to an operator server.
According to some embodiments, when the first terminal obtains the terminal identifier of the second terminal and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal, an identifier migration request carrying the terminal identifier, the card identifier and the user identifier may be sent to the operator server. The identification number migration request comprises a terminal identification of the second terminal, a card identification of an embedded SIM card on the second terminal and a user identification number. The operator server may be a chinese mobile operator server, for example. The method comprises the steps that the A smart phone receives an emigration instruction of an initial profile aiming at a user identification number of the A smart phone, and when a terminal identification of the B smart phone and a card identification of an embedded SIM card on the B smart phone are obtained, the A smart phone can send the terminal identification of the B smart phone and the card identification of the embedded SIM card on the B smart phone to a China mobile operator server.
It is easy to understand that the operator server can be one of the three operator servers in china. The operator server may be a chinese mobile operator server, for example. When the smart phone A activates the user identification number, the smart phone A can go to a China Mobile service network to download a corresponding initial profile. When the A smart phone downloads the initial profile, a communication channel can be established with the China Mobile operator server. Therefore, the first terminal can adopt the communication channel to send an identification number migration request carrying the terminal identification, the card identification and the user identification number to the China Mobile operator server.
S103, acquiring the target profile generated by the operator server based on the identification number migration request, and sending the target profile to the second terminal.
According to some embodiments, the first terminal may transmit an identifier migration request carrying a terminal identifier of the second terminal, a card identifier of the second terminal, and a user identification number to the operator server using the communication channel. When the operator server receives the request, the operator server can analyze the request to obtain the terminal identifier of the second terminal, the card identifier of the second terminal and the user identification number. When the operator server obtains the terminal identifier of the second terminal, the card identifier of the second terminal, and the user identification number, a target profile may be generated according to the terminal identifier of the second terminal and the card identifier of the second terminal, and the target profile may be sent to the first terminal. When the first terminal acquires the target profile generated by the operator server based on the identification number migration request, the target profile can be sent to the second terminal
It is easy to understand that the user identification number of the smart phone a may be 11223344556, and when the terminal identification number of the smart phone B and the card identification number of the smart phone B are obtained, the identification number migration request may be sent to the china mobile operator server. The identification number migration request carries a user identification number, a terminal identification of the smart phone B and a card identification of the smart phone B. When the China mobile operator server receives the identification number migration request, the request can be analyzed, and the user identification number, the terminal identification of the B intelligent mobile phone and the card identification of the B intelligent mobile phone are obtained. And the China mobile operator server generates a target profile corresponding to the user identification number based on the terminal identification of the smart phone B and the card identification of the smart phone B, and sends the target profile to the smart phone A. When the A smart phone receives the target profile, the target profile may be sent to the B smart phone.
The embodiment of the application provides a migration method of a user identification number, which comprises the steps of obtaining a terminal identifier of a second terminal and a card identifier of an embedded SIM card on the second terminal by receiving a migration instruction of an initial profile aiming at the user identification number on a first terminal, sending an identification number migration request carrying the terminal identifier, the card identifier and the user identification number to an operator server, and sending a target profile to the second terminal when obtaining the target profile generated by the operator server based on the identification number migration request, wherein the target profile comprises the terminal identifier, the card identifier and the user identification number. Therefore, when the user performs the migration of the user identification number, the first terminal can acquire the destination profile generated by the operator server based on the identification number migration request and send the destination profile to the second terminal, and the second terminal can directly acquire the destination profile corresponding to the user identification number without the user going to a service network point of the operator to download the destination profile corresponding to the user identification number, so that the convenience of the migration of the user identification number between the two eSIM terminals can be improved, and the use experience of the user using the embedded SIM card can be further improved.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a migration method of a user identification number according to an embodiment of the present application.
As shown in fig. 4, the method for migrating a user identification number includes:
s201, receiving an emigration instruction of an initial profile aiming at a user identification number on a first terminal, and starting a scanning interface.
According to some embodiments, the first terminal refers to a terminal supporting an eSIM card. And adding a control of 'emigration of the initial profile of the user identification number' in a profile management page of the eSIM of the first terminal. When the user needs to migrate the initial profile of the user identification number, the user can click the control of "migrating the initial profile of the user identification number" after selecting the initial profile of the user identification number. When the first terminal detects that the user clicks the control, the first terminal may generate an exit instruction for the initial profile of the user identification number on the first terminal and send the instruction to the processor of the first terminal. When the processor of the first terminal receives the emigration instruction, the scanning interface of the first terminal can be opened.
In the embodiment of the application, the first terminal takes a C smart phone using an eSIM card as an example, and the second terminal takes a D smart phone using an eSIM card as an example.
It is easily understood that the C smart phone supports the eSIM card. The user identification number of the C smartphone is 77889966554. And C, adding a control of 'emigration of the initial profile of the user identification number' in a profile management page of the eSIM in the smart phone. When the user needs to migrate out of the initial profile of user identification numbers, the user may select 77889966554 for the initial profile and then click on the "migrate out of initial profile of user identification numbers" control. When the C smart phone detects that the user clicks the control, the C smart phone generates an emigration instruction for the initial profile 77889966554 on the C smart phone and sends the instruction to a processor of the C smart phone. When the processor of the C smart phone receives the emigration instruction, a scanning interface of the C smart phone can be started.
S202, the scanning interface is controlled to scan the first two-dimensional code displayed on the second terminal, and the terminal identification of the second terminal and the card identification of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal, which are contained in the first two-dimensional code, are read.
According to some embodiments, the second terminal refers to a terminal supporting an eSIM card. A control of 'immigration of user identification number' is newly added in a profile management page of the eSIM of the second terminal. When the user needs to migrate to the destination profile of the user identification number, the user can click on the "user identification number migrate" control. When the second terminal detects that the user clicks the control, the second terminal obtains a terminal identifier of the second terminal and a card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal, generates a first two-dimensional code from the terminal identifier of the second terminal and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal, and displays the first two-dimensional code on a display interface of the second terminal. Wherein the first two-dimensional Code includes but is not limited to PDF417, QR Code, Code 49, Code 16K, Code One.
It is easy to understand that fig. 5 shows an interaction diagram of the first terminal, the second terminal and the operator server. When the first terminal starts the scanning interface, the first terminal can control the scanning interface to scan the first two-dimensional code displayed on the second terminal. When the first terminal scans the first two-dimensional code, the first two-dimensional code can be analyzed, and a terminal identifier of the second terminal and a card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal, which are contained in the first two-dimensional code, are read. For example, when the C smart phone starts the scanning interface, the C smart phone may control the scanning interface to scan the first two-dimensional code displayed on the D smart phone, and read the terminal identifier of the D smart phone and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the D smart phone.
S203, reading the card identifier and the verification key of the embedded SIM card on the first terminal, and sending the card identifier and the verification key to the operator server for authentication and verification.
According to some embodiments, when the first terminal activates the user identification number and establishes a communication channel with the service area of the operator, an authentication key for establishing the communication channel with the operator server may be set so as to improve the security of the user identification number. After the first terminal obtains the terminal identifier of the second terminal and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal, the first terminal may read the card label and the verification key of the embedded SIM card on the first terminal. When the first terminal reads the card label and the verification key of the embedded SIM card on the first terminal, the card label and the verification key of the embedded SIM card on the first terminal can be sent to the operator server for authentication and verification.
It is easy to understand that after the terminal identifier of the smart phone D and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the smart phone D are obtained by the smart phone C, the card label and the authentication key of the embedded SIM card on the smart phone C are read. For example, the card number 2358745962145569 and the authentication key of the embedded SIM card on the C smartphone read by the C smartphone. The C smart phone may send 2358745962145569 and the authentication key to the china mobile operator server for authentication.
S204, when the authentication is confirmed to pass, a communication channel between the server and an operator server is established.
According to some embodiments, the operator server receives the card number and the verification key of the embedded SIM card on the first terminal sent by the first terminal, and may compare the card number and the verification key of the embedded SIM card on the first terminal with preset card numbers and verification keys. And when the operator server detects that the card label and the verification key of the embedded SIM card on the first terminal are consistent with the preset card label and the preset verification key, sending an authentication verification passing instruction to the first terminal. When the first terminal receives the authentication and verification passing instruction, the first terminal confirms that the authentication and verification passes, and the first terminal can establish a communication channel with the operator server.
It will be readily appreciated that the C-smart phone receives the read card number 2358745962145569 and the authentication key for the embedded SIM card on the C-smart phone. The C smart phone may send 2358745962145569 and the authentication key to the china mobile operator server for authentication. And when the China mobile operator server detects that the 2358745962145569 and the verification key are consistent with the preset card label and the preset verification key, sending an authentication verification passing instruction to the C smart phone. And when the smart phone C receives the authentication and verification passing instruction, the smart phone C confirms that the authentication and verification passes, and the smart phone C can establish a communication channel with the China Mobile operator server.
S205, sending an identification number migration request carrying the terminal identification, the card identification and the user identification number to an operator server by adopting a communication channel.
According to some embodiments, the first terminal controls the scanning interface to scan the first two-dimensional code displayed on the second terminal, and the terminal identifier of the second terminal and the card identifier of the embedded SIM card on the second terminal, which are included in the first two-dimensional code, can be read.
