It should be understood that the number of terminals, networks, and servers in fig. 1 are merely illustrative. There may be any suitable number of terminals, networks, and servers, as desired for an implementation.
With continued reference to FIG. 2, a flow 200 of one embodiment of a method for presenting information in accordance with the present application is shown. The method for presenting information can be applied to a terminal, and can include the following steps 201-202:
in response to detecting that the reading application is installed, content in a preset format is obtained locally, where the content in the preset format includes a book identifier and an application identifier of the reading application.
In this embodiment, the execution subject of the method for presenting information (for example, the terminals 101, 102, 103 shown in fig. 1) may detect installation of an application program on the terminal, and if it is detected that the reading application is being installed or just installed, the content in the preset format may be acquired from the local. The content in the preset format may include a book identifier and an application identifier of the reading application.
As an example, the execution subject may locally acquire the content including "com.
Here, the book identification may be a unique identification of the electronic book (e.g., international standard book number ISBN of the book), and the application identification may be a unique identification of the application program (e.g., application package name).
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the content in the preset format may be generated through the following steps:
first, an operation of a terminal user on a promotion page for promoting the reading application is detected, and if it is detected that the terminal user downloads the reading application through the promotion page (for example, the user clicks a download button), a book identifier of an electronic book put in the promotion page may be acquired.
And then, storing the book identification and the application identification of the reading application locally according to a preset format.
For example, the user opens a promotion page with a novel 'XX adventure' using a mobile phone browser. Since the user Zhang Sanqi feels the novel good, the download button in the promotion page is clicked to download the reading application "XX reads". At this time, the mobile phone detects that the user clicks the download button by zhang san, and stores the book identifier of the novel "XX adventure" and the application identifier of the reading application "XX reading" in the mobile phone cache according to the format "app _ book identifier _ application identifier".
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the content in the preset format may also be generated through the following steps:
firstly, whether a promotion page for promoting the reading application is opened or not is detected, and if the promotion page is detected to be opened, book identifications of electronic books put in the promotion page can be acquired.
And then, storing the book identification and the application identification of the reading application locally according to a preset format.
For example, the user browses information using a browser on a mobile phone. Then the user opens three clicks on the link introducing the novel "XX adventure" and enters the promotion page putting the novel "XX adventure" to promote the reading application "XX reading". At this time, the mobile phone detects that the promotion page is opened, and stores the book identifier of the novel "XX adventure" and the application identifier of the reading application "XX reading" in the format "app _ book identifier _ application identifier" in the cache of the mobile phone.
The implementation mode has the advantage that the book identification of the electronic book which is read by the user can be acquired when the user does not click the download button. For example, after browsing the promotion page, the user may want to download and install the application, but the reading application may be downloaded through another channel (e.g., application market) without clicking a download button of the promotion page for security (or other factors). In this case, the terminal can also acquire the book identifier of the novel "XX adventure" that the user has started reading, so that the probability of acquiring the content in the preset format when the reading application is installed can be increased.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the content in the preset format is stored in a clipboard. For example, the execution agent may call a setup data method of a clipboard to store the content in the preset format in the clipboard.
Although the above implementation describes saving the content in the preset format in the clipboard, the present application is not limited thereto. It should be understood that the content in the preset format may also be stored locally in other manners, for example, the content in the preset format is stored in a temporary file, a local cache, and the like. Those skilled in the art can set the setting according to the needs of the actual application scenario.
Step 202, when the reading application runs for the first time, a reading interface of the electronic book indicated by the book identification is displayed.
In this embodiment, an executing body (for example, the terminals 101, 102, 103 shown in fig. 1) of the method for presenting information may present a reading interface of an electronic book indicated by a book identifier in the content in the preset format when detecting that the reading application is run for the first time. As an example, when the reading application "XX reading" runs for the first time, the electronic book indicated by the book identification (for example, the novel "XX mountain house") is acquired, and the reading page (for example, the first page of the first chapter) of the electronic book is directly opened.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the content in the preset format may be parsed by the terminal. Specifically, before step 202, the method for presenting information may further include: and analyzing the content in the preset format to obtain the book identification in the content.
Corresponding to the implementation manner, the executing body may obtain the electronic book indicated by the book identifier from the server when the reading application runs for the first time, add the electronic book to an electronic bookshelf of the reading application, and automatically open a reading page of the electronic book.
In some optional implementations of this embodiment, the content in the preset format may also be parsed by the server. Specifically, before step 202, the method for presenting information may further include: the content in the preset format described above is transmitted to a server (e.g., the server 105 shown in fig. 1). After receiving the content in the preset format, the server may parse the content in the preset format to obtain a book identifier therein, and add the electronic book indicated by the book identifier to an electronic bookshelf of a user (that is, a user holding the terminal) who sends the content in the preset format.
Corresponding to this implementation, step 202 may specifically include: when the reading application runs for the first time, a reading interface of an electronic book in an electronic bookshelf of the reading application is displayed.
In some optional implementation manners of this embodiment, the content in the preset format may further include progress information for indicating a reading progress of the user.
Corresponding to this implementation, step 202 may specifically include: and when the reading application runs for the first time, displaying the content corresponding to the progress information in the electronic book indicated by the book identification in a reading interface.
For example, the user reads the tenth page of the novel "XX villa" on the popularization page of the reading application "XX reading", and thereafter downloads and installs the reading application "XX reading". Subsequently, the user clicks the reading application "XX reading". At this time, the reading application "XX reading" may directly open the tenth page of the novel "XX mountain house" to be displayed in the reading interface. Therefore, the progress displayed in the reading application is consistent with the reading progress of the user in the promotion page, and the reading experience of the user is further improved.
In the embodiment, the book mark of the book for guiding the user to download or use the reading application is stored locally, so that the book for guiding the user to come can be automatically added into the bookshelf, the reading page of the book is automatically opened when the book is operated for the first time, the behavior of the user on the popularization page is associated with the operation of the reading application for the first time, the user sees that the book is not an empty bookshelf when the reading application is operated for the first time, but the reading page of the electronic book which the user starts to read is read, and the user experience is greatly improved.
With continuing reference to fig. 3A-3C, one application scenario of a method for presenting information in accordance with the present application is illustrated. In this application scenario, first, as shown in fig. 3A, after browsing the brief introduction 302 of the novel "XX villa" put in the page 301 through the browser of the mobile phone, the holding user of the mobile phone clicks the button "download application" to download the reading application "XX reading" promoted in the page 301. At this time, the mobile phone detects that the user clicks a button "download application" in the page 301, acquires the book identifier "9787506379779" of the novel "XX villa" and the application identifier "com. Then, as shown in fig. 3B, after the downloading of the reading application "XX reading" is completed, the user clicks the button "install" to complete the installation of the reading application "XX reading". Finally, as shown in fig. 3C, the mobile phone detects that the reading application "XX reading" is running for the first time, and then reads out the content "app _9787506379779_com. Example. Xxreader" from the clipboard, and sends the content to the server, and the server parses out the book identification "9787506379779", and adds the novel "XX mountain" indicated by the book identification "9787506379779" to the electronic bookshelf of the user. Thereby displaying the novel "XX mountain house" in the electronic bookshelf of the reading application and automatically opening the first page of the chapter one of the novel "XX mountain house".
According to the method for displaying information, when it is detected that the reading application is installed, the content of the preset format including the book identification and the application identification of the reading application is obtained, and then the reading interface of the electronic book indicated by the book identification is displayed when the reading application runs for the first time, so that the user can automatically enter the reading interface of the electronic book which is started to be read by the user when the reading application runs for the first time.
With continued reference to FIG. 4, a flow 400 of one embodiment of a method for presenting information in accordance with the present application is shown. The method for presenting information can be applied to a server, and can comprise the following steps 401 to 403:
step 401, receiving content in a preset format acquired locally by a terminal when detecting that a reading application is installed.
