Abstract

一种液晶显示装置,其定义有显示区,其包括背光模组、层叠在所述背光模组上的显示面板以及设置在所述背光模组中的指纹感测模组,所述指纹感测模组位于所述显示区中从而在所述显示区中形成一指纹感测区。本发明通过在所述背光模组中设置指纹感测模组,不影响显示面板的显示,因此指纹感测区形成在显示区,不需要设置较宽的非显示区设置指纹感测模组,可提高液晶显示装置的显示区占用的比例。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种液晶显示装置,尤其涉及一种具有指纹识别模组的液晶显示装置。
背景技术
现有的一种液晶显示装置,例如手机,指纹识别模组与盖板结合在一起形成外挂式的指纹识别模组。指纹识别模组通常为不透光的,盖板与显示面板组装后,不透光的指纹识别模组位于显示面板的上方,指纹识别模组只能位于液晶显示装置的非显示区,导致无法进一步提高液晶显示装置的显示区占用的比例,无法有效利用液晶显示装置整机的实际空间。
发明内容
鉴于此,有必要提供一种有效解决上述问题的液晶显示装置。
一种液晶显示装置,其定义有显示区,其包括:
背光模组;
层叠在所述背光模组上的显示面板;以及
设置在所述背光模组中的指纹感测模组,所述指纹感测模组位于所述显示区中从而在所述显示区中形成一指纹感测区。
本发明通过在所述背光模组中设置指纹感测模组,不影响显示面板的显示,因此指纹感测区形成在显示区,不需要设置较宽的非显示区设置指纹感测模组,可提高液晶显示装置的显示区占用的比例。

实施例一
请参阅图1,第一实施例的液晶显示装置100定义有显示区101,所述显示区101中设置有一指纹感测区103,如图1虚线框所标示的区域。本实施例中,该液晶显示装置100为一手机。
请一并参阅图2,该液晶显示装置100包括背光模组30和层叠在背光模组30上的显示面板10,还包括设置在背光模组30中的指纹感测模组50。该背光模组30用以投射光线至该显示面板10,该显示面板10依靠来自该背光模组30的光线进行图像显示,该指纹感测模组50用于指纹识别。由于该指纹感测模组50设置在该显示面板10下方的该背光模组30中,因此该指纹感测模组50不会对该显示面板10的显示有干扰,也即所述指纹感测区103不会对该显示区101的显示有影响。因此,本实施例中,对该指纹感测模组50是否是透明的没有要求。
本实施例中,所述背光模组30为本领域常规使用的直下式背光模组,其包括反射片31、设置在反射片31一侧的多个发光二极管(LED)33、设置在多个LED 33的出光侧的扩散片35。所述背光模组30中开设有一容置孔311用以装设所述指纹感测模组50,该容置孔311正对所述指纹感测区103。该反射片31对应该指纹感测区103处形成有一开口为所述容置孔311,该容置孔311贯穿反射片31。在所述容置孔311处未设置LED33。
本实施例中,由于背光模组30中开设有容置孔311,且所述容置孔311处未设置LED,进而背光模组30设置容置孔311的区域与其他的区域光线亮度会不一致。为了使背光模组30设置容置孔311的区域与其他的区域达到均匀一致的光线效果,所述扩散片35远离LED33的一侧还设置有光学元件以改善光线的不均匀性,如图2所示,光学元件包括设置在所述扩散片35远离LED33的一侧依次层叠的扩散膜37和棱镜片39。
所述显示面板10为本领域常规使用的显示面板,如图2所示,其包括依次层叠设置的透明盖板11、光学透明胶12、上偏光片13、彩色滤光基板14、液晶层(图未示)、TFT基板15、下偏光片16。
本实施例中,该指纹感测模组50可为本领域常规使用的指纹感测元件,例如光学指纹感测元件,如图10所示,其包括依次层叠设置的基底51、CMOS感光元件53、和准直滤光层55,准直滤光层55中55开设有多个通孔57以让手指反射的光穿过达到CMOS感光元件53。
如图2所示,所述TFT基板15电性连接显示驱动电路130,所述指纹感测模组50电性连接一电路板150。本实施例中,所述电路板150为柔性电路板,其上可设置指纹感测电路。如图2所示,连接指纹感测模组50的柔性电路板150可弯折并沿反射片31远离扩散片35的一侧延伸,进而不透明的柔性电路板150不会遮挡干扰LED33的光线。可以理解的,显示驱动电路130也可设置在一柔性电路板上。
图2所示的反射片31为非平板状的,可以理解的,如图3所示,反射片31也可变更为平板状的。
实施例二
请一并参阅图1和图4,第二实施例的液晶显示装置200,其与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100基本相同,也包括层叠设置的显示面板10和背光模组30以及设置在背光模组30中的指纹感测模组50。
第二实施例的液晶显示装置200与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100的不同之处为:本实施例中,该指纹感测模组50至少为半透明的,例如为透明或半透明的;如图4所示,背光模组30中未开设有一容置孔用以装设所述指纹感测模组50,指纹感测模组50直接设置在背光模组30的扩散片35与LED33之间。
所述扩散片35远离LED33的一侧还设置有其他的光学元件以改善光线的不均匀性,如图4所示,所述扩散片35远离LED33的一侧还设置有扩散膜37。
为使指纹感测模组50达到为透明或半透明的,构成指纹感测模组50的零部件需使用透明的或半透明的,例如选用透明的基底、至少半透明的CMOS感光元件等。
如图4所示,所述TFT基板15电性连接显示驱动电路130,所述指纹感测模组50电性连接一电路板150。本实施例中,所述电路板150上可设置指纹感测电路。如图4所示,电路板150设置在扩散片35与LED33之间,为避免电路板150遮挡干扰LED33的光线,连接指纹感测模组50的电路板150需设置为透明或半透明的;并进一步依靠设置在所述扩散片35远离LED33的一侧扩散膜37使背光模组30中的光线均匀。
实施例三
请参阅图5,第三实施例的液晶显示装置300定义有显示区101,所述显示区101也是一指纹感测区103所述显示区101与指纹感测区103基本大小相同,即液晶显示装置300可支持全屏指纹辨识。
第三实施例的液晶显示装置300与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100基本相同,也包括层叠设置的显示面板10和背光模组30,还包括设置在背光模组30中的指纹感测模组50,如图6所示。
第三实施例的液晶显示装置300与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100的不同之处为:背光模组30中未开设有一容置孔用以装设所述指纹感测模组50,如图6所示,指纹感测模组50至少为半透明的,其设置在背光模组30的扩散片35与LED33之间,即位于多个LED33的出光侧。
本实施例中,由于指纹感测模组50尺寸较大,几乎占据有背光模组30的整个区域,因此指纹感测模组50对背光模组30各个区域的光源的影响一致,背光模组30各个区域的光线亮度还是能够达到为均匀。当然还是可以通过在所述扩散片35远离LED33的一侧设置扩散膜37使背光模组30中的光线均匀。
如图6所示,所述TFT基板15电性连接显示驱动电路130,所述指纹感测模组50电性连接一电路板150。连接指纹感测模组50的电路板150设置在非显示区,不会对显示产生任何的干扰。
实施例四
请参阅图7,第四实施例的液晶显示装置400定义有显示区101,所述显示区101中设置有一指纹感测区103,如图1虚线标示的显示区101的下部分区域,所述指纹感测区103基本占据显示区101的一半,即液晶显示装置400可支持半屏指纹辨识。
第四实施例的液晶显示装置400与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100基本相同,也包括层叠设置的显示面板10和背光模组30,还包括设置在背光模组30中的指纹感测模组50,如图8所示。
第四实施例的液晶显示装置400与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100的不同之处为:指纹感测模组50为透明或半透明的;背光模组30中未开设有一容置孔用以装设所述指纹感测模组50,如图8所示,指纹感测模组50直接设置在背光模组30的扩散片35与LED33之间。
如图8所示,所述TFT基板15电性连接显示驱动电路130,所述指纹感测模组50电性连接电路板150。电路板150设置在非显示区,不会对显示产生任何的干扰。
实施例五
请一并参阅图1和图9,第五实施例的触控液晶显示装置500,其与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100基本相同,也包括层叠设置的显示面板10和背光模组30,还包括设置在背光模组30中的指纹感测模组50,背光模组30中开设有一容置孔311用以装设所述指纹感测模组50。
第五实施例的触控液晶显示装置500与第一实施例的液晶显示装置100的不同之处为:如图9所示,背光模组30为侧入式背光模组,其包括层叠设置的反射片31和导光板32,以及设置在导光板一侧的LED33。本实施例中,该容置孔311贯穿反射片31,所述指纹感测模组50容置于容置孔311中并接触导光板32。
本实施例中,所述指纹感测模组50电性连接电路板150。本实施例中,所述电路板150为柔性的,其上可设置指纹感测电路,柔性电路板150可弯折并沿反射片31远离扩散片35的一侧延伸,进而不透明的柔性电路板150不会遮挡干扰LED的光线。
本发明通过在所述背光模组30中设置指纹感测模组50,不影响显示面板10的显示,因此指纹感测区103形成在显示区101,不需要设置较宽的非显示区设置指纹感测模组50,可提高液晶显示装置的显示区101占用的比例。

Claims (9)

1.一种液晶显示装置,其定义有显示区,其包括:
背光模组;
层叠在所述背光模组上的显示面板;
其特征在于:所述液晶显示装置还包括设置在所述背光模组中的指纹感测模组,所述指纹感测模组位于所述显示区中从而在所述显示区中形成一指纹感测区。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述背光模组包括层叠设置的反射片和扩散片、以及设置在所述反射片与所述扩散片之间的多个发光二极管,所述背光模组开设有容置孔容纳所述指纹感测模组,该容置孔贯穿反射片。
3.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述容置孔处未设置发光二极管,所述扩散片远离所述多个发光二极管的一侧还设置有光学元件以改善光线的不均匀性。
4.如权利要求3所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述光学元件包括设置在所述扩散片远离所述多个发光二极管的一侧依次层叠的扩散膜和棱镜片。
5.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述背光模组包括依次层叠设置的反射片、导光板和扩散片,所述背光模组开设有容置孔容纳所述指纹感测模组,该容置孔贯穿反射片。
6.如权利要求2或5所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述指纹感测模块电性连接一柔性电路板上,该柔性电路板弯折并沿反射片远离扩散片的一侧延伸。
7.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述背光模组包括层叠设置的反射片和扩散片、以及设置在所述反射片与所述扩散片之间的多个发光二极管,所述指纹感测模组设置在所述反射片与所述扩散片之间,所述指纹感测模组至少为半透明的且位于发光二极管的出光侧。
8.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述液晶显示装置为全屏指纹辨识,所述显示区与指纹感测区大小相同。
9.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:所述指纹感测区的面积小于所述显示区的面积。
