The invention relates to an air inlet system for filtering air, which comprises a metal lower cover (3), a metal shell (5), a metal air inlet pipe (8) and a plastic air outlet pipe (7), wherein the metal lower cover (3) and the metal shell (5) are connected through a clamp spring (4), the metal air inlet pipe (8) is arranged on the side wall of the metal shell (5), and the plastic air outlet pipe (7) is arranged on the metal shell (5). Compared with the prior art, the invention has the advantages of high strength, flexible use, low cost and the like.

Background
At present, many places need to use an air filter, for example, an air filter installed in an engine compartment, which is mainly used for filtering air sucked into an engine to protect a cylinder, a piston ring and the like of the engine from abrasion of abrasive materials and abrasive particles, so that the engine can obtain an optimal air-fuel ratio mixture under different working conditions, the dynamic property and the economical efficiency of the engine are improved, and exhaust pollution is reduced. On the other hand, since the housing for filtering air in the construction machine requires a small amount of air, it is manufactured by using a metal steel plate for cost saving. In order to meet the performance requirements of customers, the plastic is required to be formed by injection molding.
Because of the large size of such housings, the use of injection molds requires a high investment in mold cost. And once the customer needs to change the money on the basis, only the version with different angles of the air inlet and the air outlet is needed, the customer requirements can be met only by newly opening the mold, and the flexibility is low.
The metal shell has the defects of complex processing, large tolerance range of product size, large tolerance range of an air outlet, incapability of meeting the assembly requirements of customers and the like.

The metal shell is assembled in the groove of the plastic air outlet pipe, so that the metal shell can play a role in sealing and can not easily fall off from the plastic air outlet pipe. As shown in fig. 1, an air intake system for filtering air comprises a metal lower cover 3, a metal shell 5, a metal air intake pipe 8 and a plastic air outlet pipe 7, wherein the metal lower cover 3 and the metal shell 5 are connected through a clamp spring 4, the metal air intake pipe 8 is installed on the side wall of the metal shell 5, and the plastic air outlet pipe 7 is installed on the metal shell 5.
The plastic air outlet pipe 7 is rotatably connected to the metal shell 5 and is positioned and fixed through a rivet 6. The upper end of the metal shell 5 is provided with a protrusion 51, the lower end of the plastic outlet pipe 7 is provided with a corresponding groove 71, the protrusion 51 is inserted into the groove 71 and can rotate to a set angle position in the groove 71, and then the plastic outlet pipe and the metal shell can be flexibly adjusted through fixing by a rivet 6. The middle of the bulge 51 on the metal shell 5 is provided with a 1-2 mm yielding groove 52, and the bulge 51 is yielding to the yielding groove 52 in the process of inserting into the groove 71 by utilizing the elastic action of metal and is clamped with the groove 71. The corresponding positions of the bulge 51 and the groove 71 are provided with a plurality of positioning holes, and when the bulge 51 and the groove are rotated to a set angle, the bulge is fixed through the corresponding positioning holes by the rivets 6. The metal lower cover 3 is connected with a dust exhaust valve 1 through a metal pipe 2.
