Description

Adjusting mechanism for sliding rail assembly
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an adjusting mechanism, and more particularly to an adjusting mechanism with a longitudinal adjusting function.
Background
Generally, bottom-mounted drawer slide assemblies (underslung slide rail assemblies) are typically mounted at the bottom of a drawer as a concealed slide assembly. The bottom-mounted track assembly generally includes a first track and a second track that are displaceable relative to the first track. The first rail is mounted on a cabinet body, and the second rail is used for bearing or supporting the drawer, so that the drawer can be easily pulled out of or pushed into the cabinet body relative to the first rail through the second rail to be folded. When the drawer is pulled out of the cabinet body, the bottom-mounted drawer slide rail assembly is kept hidden at the bottom of the drawer.
In the field of furniture sliding rails, it is known in the art that a drawer can be adjusted in terms of displacement relative to a cabinet (or sliding rail). For example, U.S. Pat. No. 5, 9,060,604, 2 discloses a laterally adjustable drawer device 10, which includes a first connecting portion 26 and a second connecting portion 27 respectively connected to a hook 12 for a drawer 13, and a pull-out rail 11. The first connecting portion 26 and the second connecting portion 27 are laterally engaged with each other by an elastic means to generate a locking force on the first connecting portion 26 and the second connecting portion 27 to compensate for a lateral gap between the hook device 12 and the pull-out rail 11. Furthermore, for example, chinese patent publication No. CN 204363436U discloses an adjusting device. The adjusting device 8 is fastened in a tool-free manner to a known coupling device 9, and the coupling device 9 can be pre-mounted on the drawer 2. The position of the drawer 2 and thus of the front panel 5 can be adjusted in the depth direction of the furniture carcass 4 by means of the adjusting device 8. These patents are incorporated herein by reference.

Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a piece of furniture 20 includes a first furniture piece 22 and at least a second furniture piece. Here, two second furniture pieces 24a, 24b are taken as an example. Each second furniture part, for example the second furniture part 24a, is displaceable relative to the first furniture part 22. Preferably, the second furniture member 24a is readily displaceable relative to the first furniture member 22 via a pair of slide assemblies 26. The first furniture element 22 may be a furniture cabinet, and the two second furniture elements 24a, 24b may be drawers, but are not limited in implementation. The pair of track assemblies 26 provide for the second furniture member 24a to be movably mounted to the first furniture member 22. The track of each track assembly 26 is mounted on the bottom of the second furniture member 24a to form a so-called bottom-mount (undersmount) track assembly. Further, the slide assembly 26 includes a first rail 28 and a second rail 30 longitudinally displaceable relative to the first rail 28, and preferably further includes a third rail 32 movably mounted between the first rail 28 and the second rail 30 for extending a displacement stroke of the second rail 30 relative to the first rail 28. Wherein the first rail 28 is fixedly installed on the first furniture member 22, and the second rail 30 is used to carry the second furniture member 24a (or carrying object), so that the second furniture member 24a can be easily moved from the inside of the first furniture member 22 to the outside of the first furniture member 22 through the second rail 30; alternatively, the second furniture member 24a can be easily pushed from outside the first furniture member 22 into the first furniture member 22.
As shown in fig. 3, 4 and 5, the slide assembly 26 further includes an adjusting mechanism 34. The adjustment mechanism 34 includes an adjustment device 38 and preferably also a coupling device 36. The connecting device 36 is disposed between the front end 30a and the rear end 30b of the second rail 30, and the connecting device 36 is disposed adjacent to the front end 30a of the second rail 30. On the other hand, the adjusting device 38 is connected to the combining device 36. Here, the adjusting device 38 may be detachably connected to the coupling device 36 by a fixing member 42 (e.g., a screw). However, in other embodiments, the adjusting device 38 can be integrated with the combining device 36, and thus, the implementation is not limited.
As shown in fig. 5, 6 and 7, the adjusting device 38 includes a first member 44, a second member 46 and a first adjusting member 48.
The first member 44 is connected to the coupling device 36 via the fixing element 42. The first member 44 includes a first portion 44a and a second portion 44b connected to the first portion 44 a. Preferably, the first portion 44a is secured to the second portion 44b by, for example, plugging, snapping, riveting, welding, or screwing. Wherein the first portion 44a has a first feature 50. On the other hand, the first adjustment member 48 is disposed on the second member 46, and the first adjustment member 48 includes a second feature 52.
Preferably, the first feature 50 of the first member 44 includes at least one projection 50a, such as a plurality of projections 50a, and the second feature 52 of the first adjustment member 48 includes a generally helical guide 52a, the guide 52a having a first end E1 and a second end E2. On the other hand, the protrusions 50a are used to abut against the guiding portion 52 a. Preferably, the protrusions 50a of the first member 44 have a distance Y therebetween, and the distance Y is used for the guiding portion 52a of the first adjusting member 48 to penetrate through, and the guiding portion 52a abuts between the protrusions 50 a.
Preferably, the projections 50a are substantially longitudinally aligned.
Preferably, the second portion 44b of the first member 44 has an extension 44c, and one of the extension 44c and the second member 46 has a guide channel 54. Here, the second member 46 is exemplified to have the guide passage 54. Further, the second member 46 includes a first wall 46a, a second wall 46b, a middle wall 46c and a stop portion 46 d. The first wall 46a, the second wall 46b and the middle wall 46c together define the guide channel 54 for receiving the extension 44c of the second portion 44b of the first member 44. On the other hand, the blocking portion 46d is bent relative to the middle wall 46c, and the blocking portion 46d is connected to the middle wall 46c substantially vertically, for example, but not limited to the embodiment.
Preferably, one of the extension 44c of the second portion 44b of the first member 44 and the second member 46 has a spacing space 56 (e.g., a longitudinal hole or a longitudinal slot). Herein, for example, the extension 44c of the second portion 44b of the first member 44 has the limiting space 56, and the second member 46 is inserted into a portion of the limiting space 56 through a shaft 58, so that the second member 46 can longitudinally displace within a limited range relative to the first member 44. Further, the first adjustment member 48 is a pulley, and the shaft 58 is pivotally connected to the center of the helical guide portion 52a of the first adjustment member 48 and the second member 46. Preferably, the shaft 58 includes a head portion 58a and a body portion 58b connected to the head portion 58 a. The head portion 58a is larger in size than the body portion 58 b. The body portion 58b passes through the first adjustment member 48 and the second member 46, and the body portion 58b is disposed in a portion of the spacing space 56 of the first member 44. On the other hand, the head portion 58a blocks one side of the first adjustment member 48.
As shown in FIG. 7, the second member 46 and the first member 44 are in a predetermined position relative to each other. Here, the second member 46 is taken as an example to be at the predetermined position P0 relative to the first member 44.
As shown in fig. 7 and 8, when the first adjustment member 48 is operated, the first feature 50 and the second feature 52 cooperate to adjust the longitudinal displacement of the second member 46 and the first member 44 relative to each other. For example, when the first member 44 is connected to the coupling device 36 via the fixing assembly 42, the first member 44 can be considered to be fixed relative to the second member 46 (only the second member 46 can be longitudinally displaced relative to the first member 44). Further, when the first adjustment member 48 is operated in a first rotational direction R1 (e.g., but not limited to, a rearward rotational direction), the second feature 52 can act against the first feature 50 to generate a force that longitudinally displaces the second member 46 relative to the first member 44 from the predetermined position P0 in a first direction D1 (e.g., rearward) to a first longitudinal position P1.
As shown in FIG. 9, when the first adjustment member 48 is operated in a second rotational direction R2 (e.g., but not limited to, a forward rotational direction), the second feature 52 can act against the first feature 50 to generate a force that longitudinally displaces the second member 46 relative to the first member 44 from the predetermined position P0 in a second direction D2 (e.g., forward) to a second longitudinal position P2.
As shown in fig. 10, the combining device 36 is disposed on the second rail 30 adjacent to the front end 30a of the second rail 30, and the second rail 30 carries the second furniture piece 24 a; on the other hand, the adjusting device 38 is connected to the combining device 36 through the fixing member 42. When the second rail 30 is retracted relative to the first rail 28 and the second member 46 of the adjustment device 38 is at the predetermined position P0 relative to the first member 44, the stop portion 46d of the second member 46 abuts against the front end 28a of the first rail 28, such that a predetermined distance G0 is defined between the front portion (e.g., the front panel 25) of the second furniture piece 24a and the front portion of the first furniture piece 22.
As shown in fig. 11, when the second rail 30 is folded relative to the first rail 28 and the second member 46 of the adjusting device 38 is adjusted to be at the first longitudinal position P1 relative to the first member 44 (see fig. 8), a first longitudinal distance G1 is defined between the front portion (e.g., the front panel 25) of the second furniture piece 24a and the front portion of the first furniture piece 22 by the stopping portion 46d of the second member 46 abutting against the front end 28a of the first rail 28. Wherein the first longitudinal distance G1 is, for example, greater than the predetermined distance G0.
As shown in fig. 12, when the second rail 30 is folded relative to the first rail 28 and the second member 46 of the adjusting device 38 is adjusted to be at the second longitudinal position P2 relative to the first member 44 (see fig. 9), a second longitudinal distance G2 defined between the front portion (e.g., the front panel 25) of the second furniture piece 24a and the front portion of the first furniture piece 22 is different from the first longitudinal distance G1 by the stop portion 46d of the second member 46 abutting against the front end 28a of the first rail 28. Wherein the second longitudinal distance G2 is, for example, less than the predetermined distance G0.
It should be noted that the combining device 36 includes a second adjusting element 60 (see fig. 5), such as a rotating wheel, and preferably, the second adjusting element 60 is disposed in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first adjusting element 48, such that the axis of the second adjusting element 60 is substantially perpendicular to the axis of the first adjusting element 48. The second adjusting element 60 can be used to adjust a lateral displacement T of the second furniture element 24a relative to the first furniture element 22, which is not described herein since it is known in the art.
From the above description, it can be seen that the enhanced efficacy and advantages of the present invention are:
a. when the first adjustment member 48 of the adjustment device 38 is manipulated (e.g., rotationally manipulated), the first feature 50 cooperates with the second feature 52 to adjust the longitudinal displacement of the second member 46 and the first member 44 relative to each other. Accordingly, the longitudinal distance between the second furniture member 24a and the first furniture member 22 can be adjusted to accommodate or compensate for possible installation tolerances between the second furniture member 24a and the first furniture member 22 or the rail.
b. The combining device 36 is disposed on the second rail 30, and the adjusting device 38 is connected to the combining device 36, wherein the combining device 36 and the adjusting device 38 form an adjusting mechanism.
c. When the first adjustment member 48 is operated in the first rotational direction R1 (e.g., the rearward rotational direction) or the second rotational direction R2 (e.g., the forward rotational direction), the second member 46 is correspondingly displaceable relative to the first member 44 in the first direction D1 (e.g., the rearward direction) or the second direction D2 (e.g., the forward direction). Therefore, the user can intuitively operate the device.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the present specific embodiments, it will be recognized by those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are illustrative only, and various equivalent changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention, and therefore, it is intended to cover in the appended claims all such changes and modifications as fall within the true spirit of the invention.
