Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the slide rail assembly 20 includes a first rail 22, a second rail 24 and a guiding structure 26. Preferably, the slide assembly 20 further includes a third rail 28, and the first rail 22 is movably mounted between the third rail 28 and the second rail 24.
The third rail 28 includes a first wall 28a, a second wall 28b and a side wall 28c connected between the first wall 28a and the second wall 28b, and the first wall 28a, the second wall 28b and the side wall 28c define a rail channel 29.
The first rail 22 is mounted to the slide channel 29 of the third rail 28. The first rail 22 includes a first wall 30a, a second wall 30b and a longitudinal wall 32 connected between the first wall 30a and the second wall 30 b. The first wall 30a, the second wall 30b and the longitudinal wall 32 together define a channel 34, and the channel 34 has a channel opening 35.
The second rail 24 is mounted to the channel 34 of the first rail 22. The second rail 24 includes a third wall 36a, a fourth wall 36b, and a side wall 38 connected between the third wall 36a and the fourth wall 36 b.
The guide structure 26 is located on the first rail 22. Here, the guiding structure 26 is located adjacent to the passage opening 35 of the first rail 22. The guide structure 26 can be integrally formed with the first rail 22; alternatively, the guiding structure 26 is not integrally formed on the first rail 22, and a fitting is fixedly connected to the first rail 22 by a rivet 39, and the fitting has the guiding structure 26 for example, but is not limited in implementation.
As shown in fig. 5, the guiding structure 26 includes a first guiding portion 40, a second guiding portion 42 or a third guiding portion 44. In this embodiment, the guiding structure 26 includes the first guiding portion 40, the second guiding portion 42 and the third guiding portion 44, but the implementation is not limited thereto. The first guiding portion 40 and the second guiding portion 42 are located at two sides of the third guiding portion 44. Preferably, the first guide portion 40 and the second guide portion 42 have substantially the same structural configuration.
Preferably, the first guiding portion 40 is located adjacent to one of the first wall 30a and the second wall 30b of the first rail 22, for example, adjacent to the front end of the first wall 30 a; the second guiding portion 42 is located adjacent to the other of the first wall 30a and the second wall 30b of the first rail 22, for example, at the front end of the second wall 30 b; the third guide portion 44 is located adjacent the front end of the longitudinal wall 32 of the first rail 22.
Preferably, the first guide portion 40 extends from the first wall 30a of the first rail 22 beyond the access opening 35; the second guide portion 42 extends from the second wall 30b of the first rail 22 beyond the passage opening 35; the third guide portion 44 extends from the longitudinal wall 32 of the first rail 22 beyond the access opening 35.
As shown in fig. 6, the first rail 22 is folded relative to the third rail 28, and the second rail 24 can be separated from the channel 34 of the first rail 22 to the outside of the channel 34 through the channel opening 35. In other words, the second rail 24 can be detached from the first rail 22, and for the sake of brevity, the description thereof is omitted herein since this part is within the technical scope that can be understood by those skilled in the art.
As shown in fig. 6, 7 and 8, in a first installation condition, when the second rail 24 is to be installed to the first rail 22 again in a direction D, the second rail 24 can be guided by the first guiding portion 40 (fig. 7) or the second guiding portion 42 (fig. 8) of the guiding structure 26, so that the second rail 24 can be installed into the channel 34 of the first rail 22 from the channel opening 35. Further, the guiding structure 26 can be used to guide the second rail 24 from outside the channel 34 into the channel 34 from a height direction H relative to the longitudinal wall 32 (or longitudinal direction L) of the first rail 22 when the second rail 24 is mounted to the first rail 22.
For example, the first guide portion 40 includes a slope or a curved surface. During the process of mounting the second rail 24 to the first rail 22, the end of the second rail 24 can be guided by the first guiding portion 40 of the guiding structure 26 (as shown in fig. 7), so that the second rail 24 can be guided downward from the outside of the channel 34 (or the channel opening 35) of the first rail 22 to advance toward the channel 34, which is characterized in that the end of the second rail 24 is prevented from directly striking the front end of the first wall 30a of the first rail 22 (or the front end of the first wall 28a of the third rail 28). Alternatively, the second guide portion 42 includes a slope or a curved surface. One of the features of the end of the second rail 24 being guided by the second guiding portion 42 of the guiding structure 26 (as shown in fig. 8) during the process of mounting the second rail 24 to the first rail 22 is that the end of the second rail 24 is prevented from directly striking the front end of the second wall 30b of the first rail 22 (or the front end of the second wall 28b of the third rail 28) so that the second rail 24 can be guided upward from the outside of the channel 34 (or the channel opening 35) of the first rail 22 and advance toward the channel 34.
As shown in fig. 9 and 10, once the second rail 24 is guided from the outside of the channel 34 (or the channel opening 35) of the first rail 22 into the channel 34 by the first guide portion 40 or the second guide portion 42 of the guide structure 26, the operation of mounting the second rail 24 to the first rail 22 can be completed.
As shown in fig. 11 and 12, the first rail 22 is folded relative to the third rail 28. In a second installation situation, when the second rail 24 is to be installed to the first rail 22 again in the direction D, the second rail 24 can be guided by the third guiding portion 44 of the guiding structure 26, so that the second rail 24 can be installed into the channel 34 of the first rail 22 from the channel opening 35. Further, the guiding structure 26 is used to guide the second rail 24 from outside the channel 34 into the channel 34 from a side direction S opposite to the longitudinal wall 32 (or longitudinal direction L) of the first rail 22 when the second rail 24 is mounted to the first rail 22. Preferably, the guiding structure 26 has a side 46 adjacent to the third guiding portion 44, and the side 46 is substantially corresponding to the side wall 28c of the third rail 28. Further, the side 46 is located in front of the side wall 28c of the third rail 28.
For example, the third guide portion 44 includes a slope or a curved surface. When the second rail 24 is mounted to the first rail 22, the end of the second rail 24 can be guided by the third guiding portion 44 of the guiding structure 26, so that the second rail 24 can be guided from the outside of the channel 34 (or the channel opening 35) of the first rail 22 into the channel 34 laterally, which is characterized in that the end of the second rail 24 is prevented from directly striking the front end of the longitudinal wall 32 of the first rail 22 (or the front end of the side wall 28c of the third rail 28).
In addition, the embodiment of the present invention also provides a method for installing a slide rail, including providing a first rail 22 having a longitudinal wall 32, the first rail 22 including a channel 34; providing a guide structure 26 on the first rail 22; and providing a second rail 24, such that the second rail 24 can be guided into the channel 34 of the first rail 22 through the guiding structure 26 in one of a height direction H and a lateral direction S relative to the longitudinal wall 32. Since the installation method of the slide rail is disclosed in the above description, for the sake of brevity, no further description is provided herein.
From the above description, it can be seen that the enhanced efficacy and advantages of the present invention are:
a. the installation of the second rail 24 from outside the channel 34 of the first rail 22 into the channel 34 is facilitated by the guide structure 26.
b. The guide structure 26 can guide the second rail 24 into the channel 34 of the first rail 22 from different directions (e.g., height direction H or lateral direction S) relative to the length of the first rail 22.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the present specific embodiments, it will be recognized by those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are illustrative only, and various equivalent changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention, and therefore, it is intended to cover in the appended claims all such changes and modifications as fall within the true spirit of the invention.
