Description

System, suction pipe and method for unlocking connection between main body of dust collector and suction nozzle or unlocking connection between suction pipe and suction nozzle
Technical Field
The invention relates to a system for cleaning dust, comprising a main body of a dust collector and at least one accessory of the dust collector, wherein the main body of the dust collector and the accessory of the dust collector can be detachably connected with each other, and a control device for unlocking the connection between the accessory of the dust collector and the main body of the dust collector is provided. The invention also relates to a suction tube for a vacuum cleaner, and to a method for unlocking a connection between a vacuum cleaner body and a suction nozzle or for unlocking a connection between a suction tube and a suction nozzle.
Background
Various embodiments of vacuum cleaner attachments are known, for example as suction pipes or suction nozzles. The suction nozzle is usually connected in an air-tight manner to the floor cleaner as an add-on device via a flexible suction hose and/or a suction tube which also usually has an operating function. In so-called hand-held cleaners, the suction nozzle can also be connected directly in a gas-tight manner to the main body of the cleaner. In a robot cleaner, the suction nozzle is usually integrated in a basic housing of the robot cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner attachments are usually connected to each other or to a base housing of the vacuum cleaner body by means of detachable connections, so that the suction nozzle can be easily replaced. The connection may have a locking mechanism to ensure a reliable connection during use of the assembled cleaner.
Mechanical handling devices are known which effect the unlocking of the connection between the suction nozzle and the suction tube or between the suction nozzle and the cleaner body. The disadvantage here is that the handling device must be accessible to the connection arrangement. This is generally detrimental to the structure of the connection. In addition, a vacuum cleaner accessory, such as a nozzle, may be configured for use on a floor such that the connection between the nozzle and other parts of the vacuum cleaner is close to the floor. This usually results in the handling equipment also being close to the floor. Therefore, the user must bend down to approach the floor or lift at least a portion of the cleaner up to himself in order to maneuver the maneuvering device and unlock the connection.
Disclosure of Invention
Against this background, the object of the invention is to improve the known solutions for unlocking a connection between a cleaner body and an accessory or between a plurality of cleaner accessories.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a system for cleaning a vacuum cleaner having a vacuum cleaner main body and having at least one vacuum cleaner attachment, wherein the vacuum cleaner main body and the at least one vacuum cleaner attachment are detachably connectable to one another, and wherein a control device for unlocking a connection between the at least one vacuum cleaner attachment and the vacuum cleaner main body is provided, characterized in that the control device is an electrical actuator.
Thus, the handling device can be arranged further away from the connection between the cleaner body and the cleaner attachment than for a mechanical handling device. Thereby, unlocking of the connection is simplified. Such a design can advantageously be used both for a hand cleaner and for a floor cleaner.
The vacuum attachment can be configured as a suction nozzle, suction tube or the like. As the actuator, an electric switch or a magnet or the like that reacts to pressure or disturbance of an inductive field or a magnetic field may be used. For example, the actuator can be designed as a piezo actuator, a permanent magnet which is switched pole by switching the current through a coil, a shape memory connection, a mini motor with a control drive, or the like. The actuator as a whole is preferably provided for modifying or generating an electrical signal.
The connection between the operating device and the vacuum cleaner attachment and the vacuum cleaner body is preferably designed such that it can also be unlocked without operating the operating device. Thus, the unlocking can also be performed manually if the handling device is damaged.
In a first embodiment of the system, the vacuum cleaner attachment is a suction nozzle, wherein the suction nozzle can be connected to the vacuum cleaner body via a suction tube, wherein the suction nozzle and the suction tube can be detachably connected to one another, and wherein the handling device is arranged on the suction tube.
Thereby, the suction nozzle can be detached from the suction tube by manipulating the suction tube. Thus, the nozzle can be removed or replaced without having to bend over to the nozzle or even to the floor.
The suction tube can be constructed as a rigid tube, a flexible hose or in multiple parts from a rigid tube section and a flexible hose section. Preferably, the suction tube has at least two distal ends, which are provided for connection to the suction nozzle and for connection to the vacuum cleaner base housing, respectively.
Preferably, the suction tube has a handle and the handling device is arranged on the handle.
In a further embodiment of the system, the vacuum cleaner body has a base housing and an accumulator arranged in the base housing, and the suction nozzle has an electric motor, wherein the electric motor can be connected to the accumulator via an electrical line, and wherein the electrical line is connected to the operating device.
The already existing electrical lines can thus be used for supplying the operating device. This results in a space-and weight-saving structural design of the suction tube.
The motor may be arranged for driving the brush roller in the suction nozzle.
In a further embodiment of the system, the vacuum cleaner body has a base housing and an accumulator arranged in the base housing, the suction nozzle has an electric motor, the suction tube has a first electrical line which can be connected to the electric motor, and the suction tube has a further electrical line which is connected to the operating device, wherein the first electrical line and the second electrical line are designed independently of one another.
The actuator is thus supplied with power by means of a separate line.
The first and second conductors may be connected to the same power supply, for example within the base housing of the cleaner. In this case, "constructed independently of one another" means that the cancellation of one of the conductors has no effect on the conductors which are still present.
In a further embodiment of the system, the actuating device is designed as a bimetallic actuator. This makes it possible to construct the handling device in a space-saving manner and to produce it at low cost.
A bimetallic actuator is understood here to mean a metal strip consisting of two layers of different metals having different coefficients of thermal expansion, which are connected to one another in a material-fitting or form-fitting manner. The shape of the metal strip is preferably changed under the influence of a temperature change, so that an electrical contact can be established when the temperature increases. The bimetallic actuator can be manipulated, for example, by physical contact with a human hand, which typically has a temperature above room temperature. Thus, electrical contact can be established by a simple touch.
In a further embodiment of the system, the suction tube has a body with a first distal end and a second distal end, wherein the suction tube is connectable with the suction nozzle at the first distal end, and wherein the manipulation device is arranged closer to the second distal end than to the first distal end.
Thus, the connection between the suction tube and the suction nozzle can be operated remotely without, for example, having to bend the user down to the floor.
The above object is also achieved according to the invention by a suction tube for a vacuum cleaner having a main body, wherein the main body has a first distal tip and a second distal tip, wherein the first distal tip is configured as a first interface for connection to a base housing of the vacuum cleaner main body, wherein the second distal tip is configured as a second interface for connection to a suction nozzle, characterized in that a handling device for unlocking the first interface is provided, wherein the handling device is arranged closer to the second distal tip than to the first distal tip.
Thereby, the connection between the suction tube and the suction nozzle can be remotely operated. In particular, if the suction tube is provided for gripping near the second distal end, the connection between the suction tube and the suction nozzle can thus be unlocked simply by the user without bending over.
In a first embodiment of the pipette, the actuating device is designed as an electrical actuator, an electrical line is arranged between the first distal tip and the second distal tip, and the actuating device is connected to the electrical line. Thus, already existing electrical lines can be used, for example, for supplying the actuator with electrical energy or for transmitting electrical signals from the actuator. This achieves a space and weight saving design of the straw.
The electrical line can be designed as a supply line for supplying electrical power or as a signal line for transmitting electrical signals.
The above object is also achieved according to the invention by a vacuum cleaner having a base housing and having the aforementioned system, wherein a suction pipe of the system is connected to the base housing of the vacuum cleaner, characterized in that at least one accumulator is arranged in the base housing, the suction pipe has an electrical line for connection between the at least one accumulator and a motor of the suction nozzle, and the electrical line is connected to an operating device.
The motor and the operating device can thus be supplied with power by means of the accumulator of the vacuum cleaner without any further power supply. Thus, the cleaner can be optimized for both floor space and weight.
The above object is also achieved according to the invention by a method for unlocking a connection between a cleaner body and a suction nozzle, or for unlocking a connection between a suction tube and a suction nozzle, wherein an electrical signal is generated or changed, and wherein the connection between the cleaner body and the suction nozzle, or the connection between the suction nozzle and the suction tube, is unlocked in dependence on the signal.
Thereby eliminating the need for manual unlocking of the connection.
