Abstract

The invention provides a portable electronic device, which comprises a first body, a pivoting mechanism and a second body. The first body includes a housing and a cover plate. The housing defines an accommodating space. The pivoting mechanism is arranged in the accommodating space and is pivoted between the machine shell and the cover plate. The pivoting mechanism comprises a driving piece which pivots along with the cover plate, and the cover plate is suitable for pivoting between a closed position and an open position relative to the machine shell through the pivoting mechanism. The second body is pivoted with the pivoting mechanism. When the cover plate rotates between the closed position and the open position, the driving piece drives the second machine body to pivot along with the cover plate.

The present invention relates to an electronic device, and more particularly, to a portable electronic device.
Background
With the rapid development of the game and electronic competition industry, game hosts become more popular in recent years, and various forms of game hosts are available on the market. Generally, such game machines typically require more components to be loaded than typical machines, and thus may have a relatively large weight and size. For example, the body of a desktop game console is often bulky and difficult to move, and the notebook game console can be reduced in size but is limited in installation space and cannot provide sufficient performance to achieve high-quality game experience.
In order to satisfy the demands of users on game hosts and improve the quality of games, it is one of the problems to be solved by the present invention how to provide a game host with mobility and high performance.

The invention provides a portable electronic device which has mobility and high efficiency.
The portable electronic device of the invention comprises a first body, a pivoting mechanism and a second body. The first body includes a housing and a cover plate. The housing defines an accommodating space. The pivoting mechanism is arranged in the accommodating space and is pivoted between the machine shell and the cover plate. The pivoting mechanism comprises a driving piece which pivots along with the cover plate, and the cover plate is suitable for pivoting between a closed position and an open position relative to the machine shell through the pivoting mechanism. The second body is pivoted with the pivoting mechanism, and when the cover plate rotates between the closing position and the opening position, the driving piece drives the second body to pivot along with the cover plate.
Preferably, the second body includes a rotating member pivotally connected to the pivot mechanism, and the rotating member is sleeved on the pivot mechanism, so that the second body is suitable for pivoting relative to the housing.
Preferably, the rotating member includes a protrusion extending along a radial direction of the rotating member, and the driving member has a driving protrusion, and when the cover plate pivots to a driving position relative to the housing, the driving protrusion abuts against the protrusion to drive the protrusion to pivot together with the cover plate.

The pivot mechanism 130 is disposed in the accommodating space 116 and pivotally connected between the housing 112 and the cover 114. The cover 114 is adapted to pivot relative to the housing 112 by the pivot mechanism 130 between a closed position P1 shown in fig. 1 and an open position P3 shown in fig. 3. The second body 120 is pivotally connected to the pivot mechanism 130. Here, the portable electronic device 100 is exemplified by a game machine (gaming PC), and may further include a host 160 and an input module 170. In the present embodiment, the host 160 may be disposed in the accommodating space 116, and the input module 170 may be disposed on the cover plate 114. The second body 120 may include a display 126 electrically connected to the input module 170. Of course, the present embodiment is only for illustration, and the invention is not limited to the type and application field of the portable electronic device 100.
Fig. 4 is a partially enlarged schematic view of a portable electronic device according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 2 and 4, in the present embodiment, the pivot mechanism 130 may include a driving member 131 that pivots along with the cover plate 114. The driving member 131 is configured to drive the second body 120 to pivot with the cover 114 when the cover 114 rotates between the closed position P1 and the open position P3. In the embodiment, the second body 120 further includes a rotating member 122 pivotally connected to the pivoting mechanism 130, and in detail, the rotating member 122 is sleeved on the pivoting mechanism 130 and is coaxial with the driving member 131, so that the second body 120 can pivot relative to the housing 112.
In this embodiment, the rotating member 122 of the second body 120 may include a protrusion 124 extending along a radial direction of the rotating member 122 as shown in fig. 4. The driving member 131 has a driving protrusion 132 corresponding to the protrusion 124. So configured, when the cover 114 pivots relative to the housing 112 to an actuating position P2 (shown in fig. 2) between the closed position P1 and the open position P3, the actuating protrusion 132 rotates to a position abutting the protrusion 124, and then as the cover 114 continues to pivot relative to the housing 112, the actuating protrusion 132 can thereby actuate (push) the protrusion 124 to pivot with the cover 114. In short, during the rotation of the cover plate 114 from the driving position P2 to the opening position P3, the protrusion 124 is pushed by the driving protrusion 132, and thus can pivot outwardly along with the cover plate 114.
For example, in the present embodiment, the driving position P2 may be a position 45 degrees from the closing position P1. Of course, the present embodiment is only for illustration and the invention is not limited thereto, as long as the driving protrusion 132 can drive the second body 120 to rotate together at any position between the close position P1 and the open position P3, which is within the scope of the present embodiment. It should be noted that in the present embodiment, when the cover 114 is located at the closed position P1, the second body 120 is located in the accommodating space 116 of the first body 110. When the cover plate 114 pivots to the open position P3, the second body 120 can rotate to a position exposed out of the housing 112, i.e. outside the accommodating space 116, for a user to view and use.
Fig. 5 is a partially enlarged schematic view of a part of components of a portable electronic device according to an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 6 and 7 are schematic side views of a heat dissipation module of a portable electronic device in different states according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 5, fig. 6 and fig. 7, in the present embodiment, the portable electronic device 100 further includes a heat dissipation module 140. The heat dissipation module 140 includes a frame 141 and a plurality of heat dissipation fins 142 pivotally connected to the frame 141 to pivot relative to the frame 141. In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, a side wall 113 of the chassis 112 may have an opening 115, and the frame 141 of the heat dissipation module 140 may be disposed at the opening 115, for example.
Referring to fig. 5, in the present embodiment, the portable electronic device 100 further includes a linking member 150, which is linked with the driving member 131 of the pivoting mechanism 130. In the present embodiment, the linking member 150 is connected to the heat dissipation module 140 and can be parallel to and engaged with the driving member 131. For example, the linkage 150 may include a screw portion 151 and a pulling portion 152 connected to the screw portion 151. The screw portion 151 is interlockingly engaged with the driver 131 to move in the axial direction L of the driver 131. In detail, the driving member 131 of the pivot mechanism 130 and the screw portion 151 of the linkage 150 may each have threads engaged with each other, so that when the cover plate 114 pivots relative to the housing 112, the screw portion 151 of the linkage 150 is driven to move along the axial direction L of the driving member 131 by the rotation of the driving member 131 of the pivot mechanism 130.
In the present embodiment, the pulling portion 152 is connected to one end 142a of each radiator fin 142. When the cover 114 pivots relative to the housing 112, the driving member 131 drives the linking member 150 to move along the axial direction L of the driving member 131 in a direction away from the frame 141, and the pulling portion 152 pulls the end 142a of the heat sink 142 accordingly, so as to drive the heat sink 142 to pivot along the pivoting direction R1 between a closed position H1 shown in fig. 6 and an open position H2 shown in fig. 7.
Further, in the present embodiment, the pulling portion 152 has a sliding slot 153. The heat dissipation module 140 may further include a pull rod 143 connected to the end 142a of the heat dissipation fin 142, wherein one end of the pull rod 143 has a sliding block 144, and the sliding block 144 is slidably disposed in the sliding slot 153. It should be noted that the extending direction of the sliding slot 153 may be staggered with the axial direction L of the driving element 131, and the sliding slot 153 has a first end 153a close to the screw portion 151 and a second end 153b opposite to the first end 153 a. When the driving member 131 drives the linking member 150 to move along the axial direction L away from the frame 141, the sliding slot 153 moves accordingly, so that the sliding block 144 slides in the sliding slot 153 from the first end 153a to the second end 153b, and drives the heat dissipation fins 142 to move from the closed position H1 to the open position H2. Therefore, when the cover plate 114 pivots relative to the housing 112, the pull rod 143 can be driven to open the heat dissipation fins 142 by the displacement of the screw 151 in the axial direction L.
As shown in fig. 1 and fig. 6, when the portable electronic device 100 according to the embodiment of the invention is in the storage state, the cover 114 is located at the closed position P1 shown in fig. 1, at this time, the second body 120 is stored in the housing 110, and the heat dissipation fins 142 are located at the closed position H1, so that dust can be prevented from entering the accommodating space 116 to adversely affect the components in the accommodating space 116.
Referring to fig. 3 and 7, when a user wants to use the portable electronic device 100 of the embodiment of the invention, the user can pivot the cover 114 relative to the housing 112 to move the cover 114 from the closed position P1 shown in fig. 1 to the extended position P3 shown in fig. 3, and in the process of completely pivoting the cover 114 to the extended position P3, the cover 114 will first pass through the driving position P2, at this time, the driving protrusion 132 on the driving element 131 contacts and is adapted to push the protrusion 124 of the rotating element 122, so that the second body 120 can tilt out in the direction of the user by linking with the rotating element 122 of the pivoting mechanism 130, and at the same time, the screw 151 is driven by the driving element 131 to automatically link with the pull rod 143 to pull the end 142a of the heat dissipation fin 142, so that the heat dissipation fin 142 pivots relative to the housing 141 to the extended position H2, so that the external air can flow into the accommodating space 116 through the opening 115 and contact with the heat dissipation fin, so as to increase the heat dissipation and convection, and keep the host 160 in the accommodating space 116 operating at high efficiency.
