Abstract

The invention discloses a cigarette making machine and a tipping paper conveying and detecting method. The cigarette making machine comprises a tipping paper conveying device and a tipping paper position detection device, wherein the tipping paper position detection device is arranged above the tipping paper conveying device and is used for detecting whether the edge of the tipping paper is positioned at a set position. The tipping paper position detection device can judge whether the tipping paper deviates or curls or not by analyzing whether the edge of the tipping paper is positioned at the set position or not, so that a defect signal is output to a cigarette making machine to remove defective cigarettes and further the qualified rate of cigarettes is improved.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of tobacco manufacturing and detection, in particular to a cigarette making machine and a tipping paper conveying and detecting method.
Background
As shown in fig. 1, the related art cigarette making machine includes a guide roller 2 and a heating block 3. The tipping paper 1 is supported by the guide roller 2 and the heating block 3, and then is delivered to the cigarette 4 shown in figure 2 to be connected and wrapped with the filter tip 5, and finally the filter-tipped cigarette shown in figure 3 is formed.
The tipping paper 1 should be kept stable during the conveying process, so that the tipping paper 1 can ensure that the cigarettes 4 and the filter tip 5 are wrapped by the tipping paper 1 and then are flat. As shown in fig. 4, if the tipping paper 1 is shifted during the conveying process, the problem that the tipping paper 1 is wrapped on the cigarette 4 in different lengths (as shown in fig. 5) is caused; as shown in fig. 6, if the tipping paper 1 is curled during the conveying process, the problem that the tipping paper 1 is curled when being wrapped on the cigarette (as shown in fig. 7) is caused; both of these problems result in the production of filter-tipped cigarettes of defective quality.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a cigarette making machine and a tipping paper conveying detection method, which aim to improve the qualification rate of cigarettes made by the cigarette making machine.
The present invention provides in a first aspect a cigarette making machine comprising:
a tipping paper conveying device; and
the tipping paper position detection device is arranged above the tipping paper conveying device and is used for detecting whether the edge of the tipping paper is positioned at a set position.
In some embodiments, the tipping paper conveying device includes a bearing surface for bearing the tipping paper, and the tipping paper position detecting device includes a camera device, the camera device takes a picture of a set area on the bearing surface, and the tipping paper is located in the set area in the transverse direction of the bearing surface.
In some embodiments, the tipping paper position detecting device further comprises a controller coupled to the camera device, the controller receiving and analyzing the image sent by the camera device and sending a signal.
In some embodiments, two detection areas are provided on the image, the detection areas being spaced apart in the lateral direction, and the image pickup device detects whether or not there is tipping paper in the two detection areas.

It should be noted here that when the focal length of the lens of the photographing device 6 is fixed, the photographing angle is not changed, and the distance between the photographing device 6 and the tipping paper 1 is kept unchanged, the setting area S of the photographed image is not changed, and the position of the tipping paper 1 in the image is the same as the actual position, so that the actual position of the tipping paper 1 can be determined according to the position of the tipping paper 1 in the photographed image.
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, the cigarette making machine according to the embodiment of the present invention further includes a controller 7 coupled to the image capturing device 6, the image capturing device 6 captures an image of the tipping paper 1 and transmits the image to the controller 7, and the controller 7 analyzes the image and determines whether the positions of the two side edges of the tipping paper 1 are at the set position.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 10, a detection area is provided on the image of the embodiment, so that after the image pickup device 6 conveys the photographed image to the controller 7, the controller 7 analyzes whether the edge of the tipping paper is located in the detection area, and then can judge whether the tipping paper 1 deviates or curls, so as to output a defect signal for the cigarette making machine to reject the defective cigarette. The image described here may be provided with a detection area, which may be a virtual area, for example, a predetermined area of the image, and the controller may analyze whether or not the edge of the tipping paper 1 exists in the detection area by simply recording the position of the detection area.
As shown in fig. 8, in the cigarette making machine of the present embodiment, the image pickup device 6 is attached above the tipping paper conveying device, and the image pickup device 6 picks up an image of the tipping paper 1. As shown in fig. 9, the image pickup device 6 is positioned so that both edges of the tipping paper 1 should be picked up in the screen. The image captured by the imaging device 6 is input to the controller 7 for analysis. When the focal length of the lens of the camera device 6 is fixed, the shooting angle is unchanged, and the distance between the camera device 6 and the tipping paper 1 is not changed any more, the position and the width of the tipping paper 1 in the image correspond to the actual position and the actual width. That is, when the tipping paper 1 is conveyed normally, the positions of the first edge 1a and the second edge 1b of the tipping paper in the photograph are substantially fixed. When the tipping paper 1 is misaligned or curled, the positions of the first edge 1a and the second edge 1b in the photograph are also changed.
As shown in fig. 10, a first detection area P and a second detection area Q are provided at both edge positions in the image, and edge detection is performed in the detection areas, and when the tipping paper is conveyed normally, as shown in fig. 10, both edges 1a and 1b of the tipping paper 1 fall in the corresponding areas, that is, the presence of an edge can be detected in the detection areas.
As shown in fig. 11, when the tipping paper 1 is conveyed and deviates, both edges 1a and 1b in the picture will run out of the detection area, i.e. the presence of the edges 1a and 1b is not detected in the first detection area P and the second detection area Q.
When the tipping paper 1 is curled, at least one edge will run out of the detection zone, as shown in fig. 12.
In conclusion, when the edge is not detected in any detection area, the tipping paper 1 is off tracking or curled, and the controller 7 sends a signal to the cigarette making machine to remove the corresponding cigarette.
The tipping paper conveying detection method provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps:
acquiring the actual position of the edge of the tipping paper;
and judging whether the actual position of the edge of the tipping paper accords with the set position.
Specifically, judging whether the actual position of the edge of the tipping paper conforms to the set position includes shooting the set area with a camera; and judging whether the edge of the tipping paper in the image shot by the camera is positioned in the detection area or not.
The detection area of this embodiment is a square frame. The width and position of the square frame determine the sensitivity of detection, and the narrower the width and the closer the position is to the edge, the higher the sensitivity is.
