Description

Object emitter device and use method
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of toy manufacturing, in particular to an object emitter device and a using method.
Background
Toy launching devices have been popular with children of all ages for many years. Generally, the method of firing the projectile by the firing device is to use a solid fuel rocket engine. However, there are many hazards when using solid fuel engines. For example, in a solid fuel rocket-type device, once the fuel is ignited, it is generally not stopped unless the entire fuel supply is exhausted.
Other launching devices, such as projectile launchers, employ pressure tanks in which pressurized air or water is stored, which is expelled through nozzles as a means of propelling the item being launched. However, because these types of launchers are fully pressurized, they are generally unable to remove the projectile from the launcher without completing the launch, and the pressurized container presents a risk of explosion.

In the description of the present invention, it should be noted that the terms "center", "longitudinal", "lateral", "up", "down", "front", "back", "left", "right", "vertical", "horizontal", "top", "bottom", "inner", "outer", etc., indicate orientations or positional relationships based on those shown in the drawings, and are only for convenience of description and simplicity of description, but do not indicate or imply that the referred device or element must have a specific orientation, be constructed and operated in a specific orientation, and thus, should not be construed as limiting the present invention. Furthermore, the terms "first" and "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance.
The present invention provides a projectile launcher device as shown in the embodiment of figure 1. The article launcher device launches an article 15 to be launched using an aerosol spray device 13 containing a flammable liquid as a propellant; the device comprises a chamber 3 and a launch tube 1, the launch tube 1 having an open bottom end 9 and an open top end 4, the open bottom end 9 of the launch tube 1 being fixedly connected to an opening in the chamber 3. It will be appreciated that the emitter tube 1 has a substantially constant cross-section, and that the open top end 4 of the emitter tube 1 has a screen 2 (barrier strips may also be employed) thereon to prevent foreign matter and fuel from entering the emitter tube 1.
The chamber 3 has a volume of at least one liter and, in one embodiment, it may have a conical top end 4 and a conical bottom end 9; the chamber 3 is located above the emitter device base 8; the chamber 3 has an input port 5, the input port 5 being configured to be connected to an aerosol spray device 13, allowing the chamber 3 to be filled with a flammable liquid, thereby producing a mixture of air and atomized flammable liquid 14; the chamber 3 is also provided with a pressure relief valve 12, which prevents the chamber 3 from being over-pressurized.
In one embodiment, an air pump 11 is connected to the chamber 3 to pump air into the chamber 3, which may flush out old or burning propellant fuel.
The shape of the lower chamber, i.e. the conical bottom end 9, acts as an inverted rocket launcher, amplifying the pressure, resulting in increased efficiency and rising rocket or projectile; the shape of the upper chamber, i.e. the conical tip 4, consolidates the pressure by focusing it into an inverted funnel, which acts as a focus and amplification, capable of raising the pressure that causes the item to be launched to rise.
A spark gap 10 is arranged inside the chamber 3, the spark gap 10 is connected to a spark power source 7, such as a power supply, through a lead 16 of at least two wires; the wire 16 is of sufficient length to allow the spark power source 7 to be maintained at a safe distance from the chamber 3 and the item 15 being launched, for example at least 3 feet. The spark power source 7 may be activated to trigger the ignition of the spark gap 10, for example by using a switch or button.
The launched article 15 has a closed top end 4 and an open bottom end 9 and is shaped to fit over the launch tube 1 in a slidable manner.
In one embodiment, the activation means 6 may be in the form of, for example, a lever; an aerosol spray device 13 included in the device to be manipulated in a controlled manner and containing a combustible liquid, said aerosol spray device 13 filling said combustible liquid into said chamber 3.
In one embodiment, the input port 5 configured to connect to the aerosol spray device 13 has a specially keyed nozzle; in this embodiment, a specially keyed nozzle would only connect a particular aerosol spray device 13.
In one embodiment, the combustible liquid consists of hydrotreated light ends (petroleum), butanes, hydrofluorocarbons 152a, propane, aromatics, isobutane and cinnamamide.
In one embodiment, the article emitter apparatus of FIG. 1 may be used as shown in FIG. 2, comprising:
a step (step 101) of removing the launched article 15 from the launch tube 1 if necessary;
pumping air into the chamber 3 using the air pump 11 (step 102), thereby expelling some residual propellant, for example from a previous shot or failed shot or aborted shot;
disposing the object 15 to be launched on the launching tube 1 (step 103);
injecting the combustible liquid in the aerosol spray device 13 into the chamber 3, for example by using the activation device 6 of the aerosol spray device, thereby generating a mixture of air and atomized combustible liquid 14 within the chamber 3 (step 104);
directing the object arrangement and the launched object 15 in a non-downward direction (step 105);
preferably, multiple chambers may be separately stacked and individually fueled, in this manner enabling a significant increase in the pressure and volume of the reaction to launch a larger payload of the launched article 15.
The spark power source 7 may be activated (step 106) by using a switch to generate a spark across the spark gap 10. By this operation, the mixture of air and atomized combustible liquid 14 is ignited, causing a rapid expansion of the exhaust gases in the chamber 3. The exhaust gas then passes rapidly through the launch tube 1, thereby rapidly moving the launched article 15 away from the article launcher device.
In one embodiment, the article emitter device of FIG. 1 may also be used in the method of FIG. 3 to safely suspend emission, including the steps of:
a step of removing the launched article 15 from the launch tube 1 if the launched article 15 is present (step 201);
air is then pumped into the chamber 3 using the air pump 11 (step 202), thereby expelling residual or burnt propellant, for example from a previous shot or failed shot or discontinued shot;
disposing the object 15 to be launched on the launching tube 1 (step 203);
injecting a combustible liquid from an aerosol spray device 13 into the chamber 3, for example by using the activation means 6 of the aerosol spray device, thereby creating a mixture of air and atomized combustible liquid 14 within the chamber 3;
to abort a launch attempt, the launched article 15 may be removed from the launch tube 1 (step 205).
Air may be pumped into the chamber 3 using the air pump 11 (step 206) to expel the mixture of air and atomized combustible liquid 14 out of the chamber 3.
The above apparatus and method for using the apparatus is safe, reliable, repeatable and interesting for launching the article.
Although terms such as launch tube, screen, chamber, top end, input port, activation device, spark power source, base, bottom end, spark gap, air pump, pressure relief valve, aerosol spray device, combustible liquid, emissive article, wire, etc. are used more herein, the possibility of using other terms is not excluded. These terms are used merely to more conveniently describe and explain the nature of the present invention; it is to be understood that any additional limitation is not to be construed as a departure from the spirit of the invention.
Finally, it should be noted that: the above embodiments are only used to illustrate the technical solution of the present invention, and not to limit the same; while the invention has been described in detail and with reference to the foregoing embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some or all of the technical features may be equivalently replaced; and the modifications or the substitutions do not make the essence of the corresponding technical solutions depart from the scope of the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention.
