汽车摄像头用于车辆中的多种多样的功能。此类用途包括控制车辆设备以补充驾驶员对车辆周围环境的视野。补充驾驶员视野的摄像头包括面向后的摄像头,例如,用于倒车摄像头显示(RCD)系统的摄像头和用于全显示镜(FDM)系统的摄像头。用于RCD系统和FDM系统的摄像头可对准大致相同的方向,但具有不同视场(FOV)和焦点。因此,在同时提供RCD系统和FDM系统的车辆中,两个摄像头已经安装到车辆的后部,每个摄像头为两个系统中的不同系统提供图像。
由于可靠性要求,汽车摄像头的分辨率往往比消费类产品低得多。例如,最新的汽车级零件是2MP,最近公布的7.5MP传感器将于2018年发布。分辨率提高的原因是应对欧洲2021年的NCAP要求,其中面向前的传感器必须具有足够的分辨率以查看车辆侧面行人,并且中心仍有足够的分辨率。在向后方向上存在类似的问题,即,在50度下需要170ppi,宽度为1600像素,这意味着对于具有标准定焦透镜的180°FOV环绕系统来说,需要24MP传感器。因此,已经使用数字高清晰度(HD)摄像头来提供这些较高的分辨率。然而,这些数字HD摄像头需要昂贵的串行器/解串器对以及相关联的连接器(同轴连接器)。如本文所使用的,HD摄像头/图像传感器具有至少约90dB的信噪比。
本发明人已发现,通过使用变焦透镜,可在使用具有较低分辨率的摄像头的同时获得对于某些汽车应用所需的宽FOV。因此,例如,模拟HD摄像头可与变焦透镜一起使用。模拟HD摄像头提供来不需要昂贵的串行器/解串器对及其数字副本的相关联连接器的益处。因此,可使用较便宜的双绞线线缆和常规的压接和按扣连接器系统。合适的模拟编码器可从Techpoint Inc.(San Jose,California)获得。

Claims (19)

1.一种用于车辆的成像系统,包括:
设置在所述车辆中的高清晰度图像传感器;
变焦透镜,所述变焦透镜定位在所述图像传感器前方并且构造成响应于电刺激而改变至少一个光学特性,以便改变所述图像传感器的视场;以及
控制器,所述控制器联接到所述变焦透镜并且配置成通过选择要施加到所述变焦透镜的电刺激来选择所述图像传感器的视场;
其中所述变焦透镜是电润湿透镜;以及
其中所述控制器改变要施加到所述变焦透镜的电刺激,从而引起所述视场移动、变窄或变宽;
其中所述高清晰度图像传感器是模拟高清晰度(HD)摄像头。
2.根据权利要求1所述的成像系统,其中所述图像传感器安装在所述车辆中以便具有前视场。
3.根据权利要求2所述的成像系统,其中由所述图像传感器捕获的图像由所述控制器分析,并且其中所述控制器生成控制信号,所述控制信号配置成用于控制所述车辆的外部灯。
4.根据权利要求3所述的成像系统,其中所述图像传感器在所述视场变窄以聚焦在远处的物体上时维持每度视场的高像素数。
5.根据权利要求3所述的成像系统,其中所述控制器改变要施加到所述变焦透镜的电刺激,从而引起所述视场移动以对应于所述车辆正在行驶的道路上即将到来的转弯。
6.根据权利要求1-5中任一项所述的成像系统,其中所述图像传感器安装在所述车辆中,以便具有所述车辆外部的后视场。
7.根据权利要求1-5中任一项所述的成像系统,其中所述图像传感器安装在所述车辆中,以便具有所述车辆内部的后视场。
8.根据权利要求7所述的成像系统,其中所述控制器改变要施加到所述变焦透镜的电刺激,从而引起所述视场围绕所述车辆的内部移动以查看所述车辆内部的不同位置。
9.根据权利要求1-5中任一项所述的成像系统,其中所述电刺激是施加电压和电场梯度中的至少一个。
10.根据权利要求1-5中任一项所述的成像系统,其中由所述图像传感器捕获的图像由所述控制器进行分析,并且其中所述控制器提供所述分析以用于以下至少一项:前灯控制、自主车辆控制、车道偏离警告、车道保持辅助、自适应巡航控制、前方碰撞警告、后方碰撞警告、行人检测、交通标志识别、物体检测、停车辅助和盲点检测。
11.根据权利要求1-5中任一项所述的成像系统,其中来自摄像头的输出是模拟格式。
12.一种成像系统,包括:
高清晰度图像传感器;
电润湿透镜,所述电润湿透镜定位在所述图像传感器前方并且构造成响应于电刺激而改变至少一个光学特性,以便改变所述图像传感器的视场;以及
控制器,所述控制器联接到所述电润湿透镜,并且配置成通过选择要施加到所述电润湿透镜的电刺激来选择所述图像传感器的视场;
其中所述控制器选择两个不同的电刺激,以便使所述图像传感器的视场来回交替,以获得具有第一视场的第一图像流和具有第二视场的第二图像流;
其中所述高清晰度图像传感器是模拟高清晰度(HD)摄像头。
13.根据权利要求12所述的成像系统,其中所述控制器改变要施加到所述电润湿透镜的电刺激,从而引起所述视场移动。
14.根据权利要求12或13所述的成像系统,其中所述控制器改变要施加到所述电润湿透镜的电刺激,从而引起所述视场变窄或变宽。
15.根据权利要求12或13所述的成像系统,其中所述电刺激是施加电压和电场梯度中的至少一个。
16.根据权利要求12或13所述的成像系统,其中所述图像传感器位于以下中的一个中:安防摄像头、智能手机、膝上型计算机和笔记本计算机。
17.根据权利要求12或13所述的成像系统,其中所述控制器将所述第一图像流供应到第一显示器并且将所述第二图像流供应到第二显示器。
18.根据权利要求12或13所述的成像系统,其中所述控制器将所述第一图像流和第二流供应到第一显示器以在所述第一显示器的不同显示区域中同时显示。
19.根据权利要求12或13所述的成像系统,其中来自摄像头的输出是模拟格式。
