Description

Support assembly and wire arranging kit thereof
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a support assembly, and more particularly to a support assembly including two wire management devices.
Background
The slide rail assembly is useful in a wide variety of applications, such as furniture drawers or a rack system. In the rack system, the slide rail assembly is usually used to carry a carrier (e.g., electronic equipment) having electronic cables, and therefore, the electronic cables need to be supported by a cable management device. The cable management device usually has two movable cable management arms that can be connected to the two slide rails of the slide rail assembly.
For example, U.S. patent publication No. US 7,712,615B 2 discloses a support and slide assembly for a wire management arm. Furthermore, the support sliding assembly can be applied to the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly, and the support sliding assembly includes a first rod and a second rod slidably connected to the first rod. The support sliding assembly can be used for supporting the wire arranging arm. When the movable rails of the two slide rail assemblies move towards the opening direction relative to the first rail, the two wire arranging arms are changed from the folding state to the unfolding state.
However, depending on the market requirements, it is sometimes not sufficient to rely on a cable management arm to support a portion of the wires (cables) of the carrier. In other words, other portions of the wires of the carrier may not be able to be effectively supported. Therefore, how to develop a different product to meet a specific requirement becomes an issue that cannot be ignored.

As shown in FIG. 3, the first slide assembly 22 is mounted on the first side S1 of the rack, and the second slide assembly 24 is mounted on the second side S2 of the rack. A carrier 76 (e.g., an electronic device or a chassis) is mounted between the first rail assembly 22 and the second rail assembly 24. Here, the two sides of the bearing 76 are respectively installed on the second rail 32 of the first slide rail assembly 22 and the fourth rail 38 of the second slide rail assembly 24, but the implementation is not limited thereto. The first wire management device 26 is located between the carrier 76 and the second wire management device 28, for example, the carrier 76 is located in front of the first wire management device 26, and the second wire management device 28 is located behind the first wire management device 26. The first wire arranging device 26 and the second wire arranging device 28 are separated from each other, in other words, the first wire arranging device 26 and the second wire arranging device 28 are two independent wire supporting devices. For example, the first wire arranging device 26 is used for arranging or supporting a front section of the wires 78a of the wires 78 of the carrier 76, and the second wire arranging device 28 is used for arranging or supporting a rear section of the wires 78b of the carrier 76. Further, the second rail 32 and the fourth rail 38 can be folded relative to the first rail 30 and the third rail 36, respectively, so that the carrying object 76 is located in the rack in a folded position. On the other hand, the first wire management arm 50 and the second wire management arm 52 of the second wire management device 28 are in a close state relative to each other.
As shown in fig. 4, the second rail 32 and the fourth rail 38 can be displaced in an opening direction D relative to the first rail 30 and the third rail 36, respectively, so that the carrying object 76 is separated from the retracted position to be located at an extended position and outside the rack. The first wire management device 26 is driven by the second rail 32 and the fourth rail 38 in the opening direction D. On the other hand, the second wire arranging arm 52 of the second wire arranging device 28 can be driven in response to the displacement of the second rail 32 in the opening direction D, so that the second wire arranging arm 52 and the first wire arranging arm 50 are in an unfolded state relative to each other. Preferably, the at least one support bar 58 includes a first support bar 58a and a second support bar 58b, and the second support bar 58b is movably connected (e.g., telescopically connected) to the first support bar 58 a. The second support bar 58b has the first end T1. On the other hand, the first support bar 58a has the second end T2.
As shown in fig. 5, in a rack system, a rack width W between two sides of the rack, for example, between the first column 70a and the third column 70c, usually has a predetermined specification, wherein, in order to cope with the first width of the load 76, sometimes a rail assembly (for example, the first rail assembly 22 or the second rail assembly 24) having a first width W1 is used to cope with the first width of the load 76, wherein the second rail 44 of the first wire management device 26 is capable of being adjusted to a first length L1 by being retractable relative to the first rail 42, so as to cope with the rail assembly having the first width W1.
As shown in fig. 6, the load 76 may have a second width according to different requirements, and therefore, a slide assembly (e.g., the first slide assembly 22 or the second slide assembly 24) having a second width W2 (different from the first width W1) is required to have the second width of the load 76, wherein the second rail 44 of the first wire management device 26 is capable of being adjusted to a second length L2 (different from the first length L1) by being extendable relative to the first rail 42, so as to correspond to the slide assembly having the second width W2.
Fig. 7 shows a support assembly according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The difference between the support assembly and the support assembly 20 of the first embodiment is generally: the first end portion T1 of at least one support rod 202 of the second wire management device 200 of the support assembly of the second embodiment is detachably mounted to the rear end portion 34a of the first middle rail 34 close to the first slide rail assembly 22 by plugging, buckling or clamping through the first mounting member 204; on the other hand, the second end T2 of the at least one support bar 202 is detachably mounted to the rear end 40a of the second middle rail 40 near the second sliding rail assembly 24 by plugging, buckling or clipping through the second mounting component 206. According to this configuration, the at least one support rod 202 is displaceable with the first and second center rails 34 and 40.
Referring to fig. 8 and 9, a support assembly according to a third embodiment of the present invention is shown. The difference between the support assembly and the support assembly 20 of the first embodiment is generally: the first end T1 of the first supporting rod 302a of at least one supporting rod 302 of the second wire management device 300 of the supporting assembly of the third embodiment is detachably mounted to the rear end of the first middle rail 34 near the first sliding rail assembly 22 by plugging, buckling or clamping through the first mounting part 304; on the other hand, the second end T2 of the second supporting rod 302b of the at least one supporting rod 302 is mounted to the rear end portion of the third rail 36 (fixed rail) near the second sliding rail assembly 24 through the second mounting component 306, and preferably, the second end T2 is pivotally connected to a mounting seat 308 of the rear end portion of the third rail 36. According to this arrangement, when the first middle rail 34 is displaced in the opening direction D relative to the first rail 30, the second lever support 302b can pivot to swing, and the first support lever 302a can change from the retracted state to the extended state relative to the second lever support 302b in response to the first wire management arm 310 expanding relative to the second wire management arm 312. It should be noted that, in the third embodiment, the first wire management device 26 is not shown in fig. 8 and 9.
From the above description, it can be seen that the enhanced efficacy and advantages of the present invention are:
(1) the first wire management device 26 is mounted to the second rail 32 of the first slide assembly 22 and the fourth rail 38 of the second slide assembly 24, and the second wire management device 28 includes a first wire management arm 50 and a second wire management arm 52, the first wire management arm 50 being mounted to the first rail 30 of the first slide assembly 22, and the second wire management arm 52 being mounted to the second rail 32 of the first slide assembly 22.
(2) The first wire arranging device 26 and the second wire arranging device 28 are two independent wire supporting devices, and can be used for supporting wires (such as the front wire 78a and the rear wire 78b) at different positions behind the carrier 76.
(3) The length of the first wire management device 26 can be adjusted to accommodate different width slide rail assemblies.
(4) The second wire management device 28 includes at least one support bar for supporting one of the first wire management arm 50 and the second wire management arm 52.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the present specific embodiments, it will be recognized by those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are illustrative only, and various equivalent changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention, and therefore, it is intended to cover in the appended claims all such changes and modifications as fall within the true spirit of the invention.
