Abstract
The invention relates to a cable management assembly, which is suitable for a first slide rail assembly and a second slide rail assembly, wherein each slide rail assembly comprises a first rail and a second rail which can move relative to the first rail. The wire arranging assembly comprises a wire arranging device and at least one supporting piece. The wire arranging device comprises a first arm and a second arm. The first arm is used for connecting a first rail of the first slide rail assembly; the second arm is pivoted relative to the first arm and is used for being connected to a second rail of the first slide rail assembly; the at least one supporting member comprises a first end and a second end, the first end is pivoted relative to the first rail of the second slide rail assembly, and the second end is detachably connected with the first rail of the first slide rail assembly.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a wire arranging mechanism, in particular to a wire arranging assembly capable of arranging wires (cables).
Background
In a rack system, a slide rail assembly typically includes a first rail and a second rail. The first rail is mounted on a column of a frame; the second rail can move relative to the first rail and is used for bearing an electronic device. The electronic device is generally configured with an electronic cable at the rear, so that the electronic cable can be sorted by a cable sorting mechanism.
For example, U.S. patent publication No. US 7,473,846B2 discloses a reversible cable support arm including a first arm segment and a second arm segment rotatably connected to the first arm segment. When the electronic device is in a folding position through the slide rail, the first arm section and the second arm section of the cable supporting arm are relatively closed and folded; when the electronic device is in an extending position through the sliding rail, the first arm section and the second arm section of the cable supporting arm extend and unfold relative to each other.
However, due to different market demands, sometimes the cable support arm is merely relied on to support the cable of the electronic device, and the cable support arm is not easy to detach or replace the sub-module of the electronic device. Therefore, how to develop a product capable of improving the reliability of the wire management product and having the convenience of assembly and disassembly becomes a non-negligible issue.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a wire arranging device for a slide rail assembly.
According to an aspect of the present invention, a cable management assembly is adapted for use with a first rail assembly and a second rail assembly. Each slide rail assembly comprises a first rail and a second rail which can move relative to the first rail. The wire management assembly comprises a first wire management device and at least one supporting piece. The first wire arranging device comprises a first arm and a second arm. The first arm is used for connecting a first rail of the first slide rail assembly; the second arm is pivoted relative to the first arm and is used for being connected to a second rail of the first slide rail assembly; the at least one supporting member comprises a first end and a second end, the first end is pivoted relative to the first rail of the second slide rail assembly, and the second end is detachably connected with the first rail of the first slide rail assembly.
Preferably, one of the first arm and the second arm is provided with a first blocking feature, when the second rail is located at a retracted position relative to the first rail, the first arm and the second arm are in a state of being close to each other, and the at least one supporting member is used for blocking the first blocking feature.
Preferably, when the first arm and the second arm are in the state of being close to each other, the at least one supporting member is used for supporting the first wire arranging device.

Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, a cable management assembly 20 according to an embodiment of the present invention is suitable for a first slide rail assembly 22 and a second slide rail assembly 24. The first slide assembly 22 and the second slide assembly 24 have substantially the same structural configuration. Herein, the first slide rail assembly 22 and the second slide rail assembly 24 are respectively disposed at the right side and the left side of a rack (rack). Further, the first slide assembly 22 and the second slide assembly 24 each include a first rail 26 and a second rail 28. The first rail 26 is capable of being mounted to a first mast 34a (e.g., front mast) and a second mast 34b (e.g., rear mast) of the rack via a first bracket 30 (e.g., front bracket) and a second bracket 32 (e.g., rear bracket). The second rail 28 is longitudinally displaceable relative to the first rail 26, and the second rail 28 can be used to carry a carrier 36 (e.g., an electronic device, see fig. 1). The carrier 36 includes at least one space for accommodating at least one electronic component, a power module, a heat dissipation module, a storage module, or the like. Here, taking the carrier 36 as an example of accommodating a first upper layer object 38a, a first lower layer object 38b, a second upper layer object 38c and a second lower layer object 38d, the objects 38a, 38b, 38c or 38d may be Field Replaceable Units (FRUs), but the number of objects that can be accommodated by the carrier 36 is not limited in implementation. Wherein the first upper layer object 38a and the first lower layer object 38b are located in the right half of the space of the carrier 36; the second upper object 38c and the second lower object 38d are located in the left half of the space of the carrier 36. Further, the wire management assembly 20 includes a first wire management device 40 and at least one support member 42, and preferably, a second wire management device 44.
The first wire management device 40 includes a first arm 46 and a second arm 48. Preferably, the first arm 46 and the second arm 48 of the first wire management device 40 are configured with at least one first wire management feature 49. The at least one first wire management feature 49 can house or support a cable behind the carrier 36. Preferably, the first arm 46 and the second arm 48 each have a first end 50a and a second end 50 b. The first end 50a of the first arm 46 and the first end 50a of the second arm 48 are pivotally connected to each other, for example, the first end 50a of the first arm 46 and the first end 50a of the second arm 48 can be pivotally connected by a first shaft 51. The first auxiliary member 58 has a first rail 26 with a height higher than the first slide rail assembly 22. Wherein, the second arm 48 is pivotable relative to the second rail 28 of the first slide rail assembly 22 due to the second end 50b of the second arm 48 being pivotally connected to the second counterpart 56.
The second wire management device 44 includes a third arm 60 and a fourth arm 62. Preferably, the third arm 60 and the fourth arm 62 of the second wire management device 44 are configured with at least one second wire management feature 63. The at least one second wire management feature 63 can house or support an electrical cable behind the carrier 36. Preferably, the third arm 60 and the fourth arm 62 each have a first end 64a and a second end 64 b. The first end 64a of the third arm 60 and the first end 64a of the fourth arm 62 are pivotally connected to each other, for example, the first end 64a of the third arm 60 and the first end 64a of the fourth arm 62 can be pivotally connected by a second shaft member 65. On the other hand, the second end 64b of the third arm 60 is pivotally connected to a third counterpart 66, and the third counterpart 66 is connected (e.g., detachably connected by plugging or clipping) to a second connecting member 68 at the rear of the first rail 26 of the second rail assembly 24, so that the third arm 60 is pivotable relative to the first rail 26 of the second rail assembly 24 due to the second end 64b of the third arm 60 being pivotally connected to the third counterpart 66. And, a fourth counterpart 70 is pivotally connected to the second end 64b of the fourth arm 62, and the fourth counterpart 70 is connected (e.g., detachably connected by plugging or clipping) to a second auxiliary member 72 at the rear of the second rail 28 of the second rail assembly 22. The second auxiliary member 72 has a first rail 26 with a height higher than the second rail assembly 24. Wherein, the second end 64b of the fourth arm 62 is pivotally connected to the fourth counterpart 70, so that the fourth arm 62 is pivotable relative to the second rail 28 of the second slide assembly 24.
The at least one support member 42 includes a first end E1 and a second end E2. The first end E1 is pivotally connected to the first rail 26 of the second slide assembly 24, and the second end E2 is detachably connected to the first rail 26 of the first slide assembly 22. Specifically, the first end E1 and the second end E2 are respectively pivotally connected to a first base 74 and a second base 76 through a pivot 73 (the pivot connecting the first end E1 and the first base 74 to each other is not shown due to the perspective). Wherein the first base 74 is capable of being connected (e.g., detachably connected by plugging or clipping) to a third connecting member 78 at the rear portion of the first rail 26 of the second rail assembly 24, preferably, the third connecting member 78 and the second connecting member 68 are spaced apart from each other; in another aspect, the rear portion of the first rail 26 of the first rail assembly 22 is provided with a first mounting member 80, and the second base 76 provided at the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 is detachably mounted to the first mounting member 80 by a second mounting member 82. For example, the first and second mounting members 80, 82 may be removably mounted relative to one another by a bayonet, snap-fit, or the like. Preferably, the second mount 76 and the second mount 82 are in a removably mounted relationship to one another. Preferably, the first mounting element 80 and the first connecting element 54 are spaced apart from each other. Preferably, the at least one supporting member 42 is exemplified by a first supporting member 42a and a second supporting member 42b telescopically connected to the first supporting member 42a, but the number of the upper supporting members is not limited. The first supporting member 42a has the first end E1, and the second supporting member 42b has the second end E2.
It should be noted that the transverse lengths of the first wire management device 40 and the second wire management device 44 after being closed are respectively slightly less than a half of the length of the at least one support member 42, i.e., a space is left between the transverse corresponding ends of the first wire management device 40 and the second wire management device 44. Therefore, the bending radius of the first wire arranging device 40 and the second wire arranging device 44 for arranging the winding wires can be reduced, so as to facilitate the arrangement of the wire rods.
As shown in fig. 4, one of the first arm 46 and the second arm 48 of the first wire management device 40 is provided with a first blocking feature 84, and herein, the first arm 46 is provided with the first blocking feature 84 as an example, wherein the first blocking feature 84 may be integrated with the first arm 46, or the first blocking feature 84 may be an additional part fixed to the first arm 46; preferably, one of the third arm 60 and the fourth arm 62 of the second wire management device 44 is provided with a second stop feature 86, and herein, for example, the third arm 60 is provided with the second stop feature 86, wherein the second stop feature 86 may be integrated with the third arm 60, or alternatively, the second stop feature 86 may be an additional component fixed to the third arm 60.
When the second rail 28 of the first slide assembly 22 is at a retracted position P1 relative to the first rail 26, the first arm 46 and the second arm 48 are in a state of being close to each other, and the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 is connected to the first rail 26 of the first slide assembly 22, the at least one support member 42 is configured to block the first blocking feature 84, so as to block the first wire management device 40. Preferably, when the second rail 28 of the second slide assembly 24 is in the retracted position relative to the first rail 26, the third arm 60 and the fourth arm 62 are in a close state, and the at least one support 42 is configured to block the second blocking feature 86 to block the second wire management device 44. Accordingly, the first wire arranging device 40 and the second wire arranging device 44 close a rear space of the first slide rail assembly 22 and the second slide rail assembly 24. As shown in fig. 5 and 6, when the second end E2 of the at least one supporting member 42 is detached from the first rail 26 of the first slide rail assembly 22, the at least one supporting member 42 can pivot and swing backward through the first end E1, so that the at least one supporting member 42 no longer blocks the first blocking feature 84 (and the second blocking feature 86), and the first wire management device 40 (and the second wire management device 44) can pivot and swing backward to open the rear space of the first slide rail assembly 22 and the second slide rail assembly 24. It is worth mentioning that in this embodiment, the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 is unloaded from the second mounting member 82 through the second base 76, such that the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 is removed from the first rail 26 of the first rail assembly 22, for example, the second base 76 is provided with a fastener 88 (or a protrusion) capable of being installed in a space 90 of the second mounting member 82, and preferably, a flexible member 92 (e.g., a spring sheet) operably connecting the second mounting member 82 and one of the second bases 76 (e.g., the flexible member 92 operably connecting the second mounting member 82), wherein the fastener 88 can be blocked in the space 90 by the flexible member 92 being in a locked position, and the flexible member 92 can be operated to an unlocked position (as shown in fig. 5), such that the fastener 88 can be disengaged from the space 90, such that the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 is unloaded from the second mounting member 82 through the second base 76, detaching the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 from the first rail 26 of the first slide assembly 22; alternatively, the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 can be unloaded from the first mounting member 80 via the second mounting member 82 such that the second end E2 of the at least one support member 42 is detached from the first rail 26 of the first slide assembly 22.
As shown in fig. 6, when the at least one supporting member 42 is pivoted and swung backward by about 90 degrees by the first end E1 and the first wire management device 40 is pivoted and swung backward by about 90 degrees, the first upper object 38a and the first lower object 38b are no longer blocked by the first wire management device 40, so as to allow the first upper object 38a and the first lower object 38b to be able to be displaced and detached backward D1 relative to the supporting object 36.
As shown in fig. 6 and 7, when the at least one supporting element 42 is pivoted and swung backward by about 90 degrees by the first end E1 and the second wire management device 44 is pivoted and swung backward by about 90 degrees, the second upper object 38c and the second lower object 38D are no longer blocked by the second wire management device 44, so as to allow the second upper object 38c and the second lower object 38D to be able to be displaced and detached backward D1 relative to the carrier 36.
As shown in fig. 1 and 8, when the carrier 36 is moved forward from the retracted position P1 to an extended position P2 relative to the first rail 26 through the second rail 28 of the two rail assemblies 22 and 24 from the retracted position P1 to the extended position D2, the first arm 46 and the second arm 48 of the first wire management device 40 are extended and unfolded, and the third arm 60 and the fourth arm 62 of the second wire management device 44 are also extended and unfolded.

a second arm pivotally connected to the first arm, the second arm being adapted to be connected to a second rail of the first rail assembly; and
at least one supporting piece comprises a first end and a second end, the first end is pivoted relative to the first rail of the second slide rail assembly, and the second end is detachably connected with the first rail of the first slide rail assembly;
when the second rail of the first slide rail assembly is in a folding position relative to the first rail, the first arm and the second arm are in a state of being mutually close, and the at least one supporting piece is used for blocking the first blocking feature;
when the first arm and the second arm are in the state of being mutually closed, the at least one supporting piece is used for supporting the first wire arranging device;
when the second end of the at least one support member is detached from the first rail of the first slide rail assembly, the at least one support member can pivot through the first end, such that the at least one support member no longer blocks the first blocking feature.

The wire management assembly of claim 2, wherein the second rail of the first slide rail assembly and the second rail of the second slide rail assembly are connected with a first auxiliary member and a second auxiliary member, respectively, and the first auxiliary member and the second auxiliary member have a height higher than the first rail of the first slide rail assembly and the first rail of the second slide rail assembly, respectively; the second arm of the first wire arranging device is pivoted relative to the first arm of the first wire arranging device through a first shaft piece, and the second arm of the first wire arranging device is connected to the first auxiliary piece; the fourth arm of the second wire arranging device is pivoted relative to the third arm of the second wire arranging device through a second shaft element, and the fourth arm of the second wire arranging device is connected to the second auxiliary element.
4. The wire management assembly of claim 2, wherein at least one wire management feature is configured on one of the first and second arms of the first wire management device.
5. The wire management assembly of claim 4, wherein at least one of the first and second arms of the second wire management device is configured with at least one wire management feature.
6. The wire management assembly of claim 1, wherein the first rail of the first slide assembly is provided with a first mounting member, and the second end of the at least one support member is removably mounted to the first mounting member by a second mounting member.
7. The wire management assembly of claim 1, wherein the at least one support member comprises a first support member and a second support member telescopically coupled to the first support member, the first support member having the first end, the second support member having the second end.
8. A wire arrangement assembly is suitable for a first slide rail assembly and a second slide rail assembly, each slide rail assembly comprises a first rail and a second rail which can move relative to the first rail, the wire arrangement assembly comprises a first wire arrangement device, a second wire arrangement device and at least one supporting piece, and the wire arrangement assembly is characterized in that:
the first wire arranging device comprises two arms which are respectively pivoted relative to the first rail and the second rail of the first slide rail assembly;
the second wire arranging device comprises two arms which are respectively pivoted relative to the first rail and the second rail of the second slide rail assembly; and
the at least one supporting piece comprises a first end and a second end, the first end is pivoted relative to the first rail of the second slide rail assembly, and the second end is detachably connected with the first rail of the first slide rail assembly;
when the second end of the at least one supporting piece is connected with the first rail of the first slide rail assembly, the at least one supporting piece is used for blocking the first wire arranging device and the second wire arranging device, so that the first wire arranging device and the second wire arranging device close a rear space of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly;
when the second end of the at least one supporting piece is detached from the first rail of the first slide rail assembly, the at least one supporting piece can pivot and swing at an angle through the first end, so that the at least one supporting piece does not block the first wire arranging device and the second wire arranging device, and the first wire arranging device and the second wire arranging device can pivot to open the rear space of the first slide rail assembly and the second slide rail assembly.
9. The wire management assembly of claim 8, wherein the first wire management device and the second wire management device are respectively provided with a blocking feature, and the at least one support member can block the first wire management device and the second wire management device through the blocking feature.
10. The wire management assembly of claim 8, wherein the at least one support member is configured to be supported at a bottom of the first wire management device and the second wire management device.
11. The wire management assembly of claim 8, wherein the two arms of the first wire management device are pivotally connected with respect to each other and the two arms of the second wire management device are pivotally connected with respect to each other.
12. The wire management assembly of claim 8, wherein the two arms of the first wire management device are configured with at least one wire management feature and the two arms of the second wire management device are configured with at least one wire management feature.
13. The wire management assembly of claim 8, wherein the first rail of the first slide assembly is provided with a first mounting member, and the second end of the at least one support member is mounted to the first mounting member by a second mounting member.
14. A cable management assembly is suitable for a first slide rail assembly and a second slide rail assembly, each slide rail assembly comprises a first rail and a second rail which can move relative to the first rail, wherein the second rail carries a bearing object, and the bearing object comprises a space for accommodating an object, and the cable management assembly is characterized in that:
the wire management assembly comprises:
a first wire management device, comprising:
a first arm pivotally connected to the first rail of the first rail assembly; and
a second arm pivotally connected to a second rail of the first rail assembly; and
at least one supporting piece comprises a first end and a second end, the first end is pivoted relative to the first rail of the second slide rail assembly, and the second end is detachably connected with the first rail of the first slide rail assembly;
when the second end of the at least one supporting piece is connected with the first rail of the first slide rail assembly, the at least one supporting piece is used for blocking the first wire arranging device so as to prevent the object from being detached backwards relative to the bearing object;
when the second end of the at least one supporting piece is detached from the first rail of the first slide rail assembly, the at least one supporting piece can pivot and swing at an angle through the first end, so that the at least one supporting piece does not block the first wire arranging device any more, and the object is allowed to be detached backwards relative to the bearing object.
15. The wire management assembly of claim 14, wherein one of the first arm and the second arm is provided with a blocking feature, when the second rail is in a retracted position relative to the first rail, the first arm and the second arm are in a state of being close to each other, and the at least one support member is configured to block the blocking feature.
16. The wire management assembly of claim 15, wherein the at least one support member is configured to support the first wire management device when the first arm and the second arm are in the closed position.
17. The wire management assembly of claim 14, wherein the first rail of the first slide assembly is provided with a first mounting member, and the second end of the at least one support member is removably mounted to the first mounting member by a second mounting member.
