Abstract
A shelf and a shelf assembly, the shelf is hexagonal and comprises a top wall, a bottom wall, two upper side walls and two lower side walls which are vertically spaced and horizontal. The upper side wall is respectively connected with the left side and the right side of the top wall, and each upper side wall comprises an upper wall part gradually far away from the other upper side wall from top to bottom and at least one protruding connection part protruding out of the outer surface of the upper wall part. The lower side wall is respectively connected with the left side and the right side of the bottom wall, and each lower side wall is provided with at least one jack. The shelf assembly comprises two shelves. Detailed Description
Before the present invention is described in detail, it should be noted that in the following description, like elements are represented by like reference numerals.
Referring to fig. 1 to 3, an embodiment of the shelf of the present invention has a hexagonal shape and defines a storage space 10 for placing articles. The shelf comprises a top wall 1, a bottom wall 2, two upper side walls 3 and two lower side walls 4 which are horizontally and vertically spaced.
The bottom wall 2 is horizontal and can be placed against a flat surface such as a floor, a table top, etc.
The upper side walls 3 are respectively connected with the left side and the right side of the top wall 1 and are opposite to each other at intervals. Each upper sidewall 3 includes an upper wall 31 extending obliquely and gradually away from the other upper sidewall 3 from top to bottom, and two protruding portions 32 spaced front and back and protruding from the outer surface of the upper wall 31. Each protruding portion 32 is, for example, a metal fastener, and is fixedly mounted on the outer surface of the upper wall portion 31, so as to be integrally connected with the upper wall portion 31. The protruding portion 32 has an enlarged section 321 spaced from the upper wall 31, and a connecting section 322 connected between the enlarged section 321 and the upper wall 31 and having a smaller diameter than the enlarged section 321.
The lower side walls 4 are respectively connected with the left side and the right side of the bottom wall 2 and are opposite to each other at intervals. The lower side wall 4, the upper wall 31 of the upper side wall 3, the top wall 1 and the bottom wall 2 are integrally formed, and jointly define the storage space 10. Each lower side wall 4 is gradually far away from the other lower side wall 4 from bottom to top, and the top end of each lower side wall is connected with the upper side wall 3 on the same side. Each lower side wall 4 and the upper wall portion 31 of the upper side wall 3 spaced apart therefrom are parallel to each other. Each lower sidewall 4 is formed with two insertion holes 41 spaced back and forth, each insertion hole 41 extending from the outer surface to the inner surface of the lower sidewall 4 and having a penetration hole portion 411 and a positioning hole portion 412 connected above the penetration hole portion 411 and having a size smaller than the penetration hole portion 411. The size of the through hole 411 is larger than the diameter of the enlarged section 321 of each protruding connection portion 32, and the size of the positioning hole 412 is smaller than the diameter of the enlarged section 321 and larger than the diameter of the connection section 322.
In this embodiment, the shelf has a dimension such that the longitudinal length L is about 25.5cm, the lateral length W of the top wall 1 and the bottom wall 2 is about 23cm, and the vertical height H of the shelf as a whole is about 39.7 cm. The above numerical values are merely examples and are not limited thereto.
When in use, the shelf can be used alone or assembled and combined by two or more shelves to form a shelf assembly. Referring to fig. 4 and 5, an embodiment of the shelf assembly of the present invention is described below, which includes two shelves detachably combined, and for convenience of description, the shelves are referred to as a first shelf 5 and a second shelf 6, respectively. The height of the second rack 6 is higher than that of the first rack 5, and one of the lower sidewalls 4 of the second rack 6 abuts against one of the upper sidewalls 3 of the first rack 5, the upper sidewall 3 and the lower sidewall 4 abut against each other, and the protruding portions 32 of the upper sidewall 3 respectively extend into the positioning hole portions 412 of the insertion holes 41 positioned on the lower sidewall 4.
Specifically, when the first shelf 5 and the second shelf 6 are assembled, one of the upper sidewalls 3 of the first shelf 5 is close to one of the lower sidewalls 4 of the second shelf 6, so that the protruding portions 32 of the upper sidewall 3 respectively protrude into the through holes 411 of the insertion holes 41 of the lower sidewall 4, and the size of the through holes 411 is larger than the diameter of the expanded section 321 of the protruding portions 32, so that the expanded section 321 of the first shelf 5 can pass through the through holes 411 of the second shelf 6. Then, since the second rack 6 is obliquely abutted on the upper side wall 3 of the first rack 5 through the lower side wall 4, the user can slightly release the second rack 6, the second rack 6 automatically slides downwards along the upper side wall 3 of the first rack 5, the insertion hole 41 of the second rack 6 moves downwards relative to the protruding part 32 of the first rack 5, finally the protruding parts 32 are respectively positioned in the positioning hole parts 412 of the insertion hole 41, at this time, the connecting section 322 is positioned in the insertion hole 41, the expanding section 321 is abutted on the inner surface of the lower side wall 4, and the second rack 6 and the first rack 5 are assembled and fixed. The first shelf 5 can be used to place heavy objects, so that the shelf assembly shown in fig. 4 can stand stably.
When the second rack 6 and the first rack 5 are to be disassembled, the second rack 6 is slightly moved upward relative to the first rack 5 according to the reverse order of the above-mentioned assembly steps, so that the protruding portion 32 is located at the through hole 411 of the insertion hole 41, and then the second rack 6 is lifted upward, thereby completing the disassembly. Therefore, the shelf combination device of the invention is very convenient and fast to assemble and disassemble.
Referring to fig. 6, the shelf assembly of the present invention may also include three shelves, i.e. one more third shelf 7 compared to fig. 4. The way of assembling the third rack 7 on the second rack 6 is the same as the way of assembling the second rack 6 on the first rack 5, and one of the lower sidewalls 4 of the third rack 7 is assembled and combined with one of the upper sidewalls 3 of the second rack 6. After assembly, the lower sidewall 4 of the third rack 7 leans against the upper sidewall 3 of the second rack 6, and the bottom wall 2 of the third rack 7 horizontally leans against the top wall 1 of the first rack 5, forming a firm assembly device.
Referring to fig. 7, the shelf assembly of the present invention may also include six shelves arranged to form a honeycomb shape. The above is merely illustrative, but not limiting, of the assembly arrangement of the present invention, since the user can expand the number of the shelves and assemble the shelves in a desired shape.
As apparent from the above description, since the upper wall 3 and the lower wall 4 of each rack of the present invention have the inclination corresponding to each other, the racks assembled with each other can be coupled by abutting the upper wall 3 and the lower wall 4. Each rack is provided with the two upper side walls 3 and the two lower side walls 4, so that each rack can be combined with other four racks in an expandable manner in the oblique upper direction and the oblique lower direction. The bottom wall 2 of the shelf is horizontal and can be horizontally abutted against the top wall 1 of another shelf positioned right below the shelf, or is used for horizontally abutting against a table top or the ground. In the same way, the top wall 1 of the shelf is horizontal and can be horizontally abutted against the bottom wall 2 of another shelf positioned right above the shelf, so that a firm and stable combined device is formed.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, in summary, the upper sidewall 3 of the rack includes the protruding portion 32, the protruding portion 32 is integrally assembled with the upper wall 31, and the lower sidewall 4 is formed with the insertion hole 41, so that when a plurality of racks are assembled, the protruding portion 32 is combined with the insertion hole 41 to achieve the effect of quick and convenient assembly. When the article shelf is disassembled, the article shelf above the article shelf is lifted upwards relative to the article shelf below the article shelf, so that the positioning relation between the protruding parts 32 and the insertion holes 41 of the two article shelves can be released, the disassembling purpose is achieved, and the disassembly is very quick and convenient.
