Abstract

The invention provides time synchronization methods and devices, time synchronization indication methods and devices, and communication equipment, wherein the time synchronization method applied to a terminal comprises the steps of receiving a wake-up message according to a preset period, identifying information indicating the received message in the wake-up message, and carrying out time synchronization with a base station according to the information indicating the received message.

Description

Time synchronization method and device, and time synchronization indication method and device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to time synchronization methods and devices, time synchronization indication methods and devices and communication equipment.
Background
According to the future application requirements, the 5G system needs to support a variety of service scenarios, including EMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband), URLLC (Ultra-reliable and Low Latency) and MMTC (Massive Machine Communication), during the standard formulation, it is proposed that an enhancement is needed in terms of terminal power saving, and in the 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) R14 standard, an important research is made on how to save power of a terminal in the RRC-connected state, and in the R16 standard, a step is made on the power saving in the RRC-connected state, and of course, how to research on how to save power of an IDLE radio resource control signaling (IDLE) in the RRC-connected state.
In the standard system, it is proposed that a UE (User Equipment) monitors a PDCCH (physical downlink Control Channel) which accounts for 40% of the entire power consumption, performs data transmission by approximately 20%, and performs presynchronization by approximately 10%.
The purpose of time synchronization is to enable the UE to wake up at any time to access the network to receive or transmit uplink and downlink data, even if the UE is in RRC _ IDLE/RRC _ INACTIVE, the UE periodically monitors PDCCH information to keep time synchronization with the network side, and the purpose of wake-up mechanism is to save power as much as possible for the terminal, so the Pre-syn mechanism needs to be improved to ensure power saving of the terminal.

In a specific embodiment, the terminal may be a network device such as a smart phone, a tablet computer, and a notebook computer. The sending module 802 may be a transmitter or an antenna, etc.
Fig. 9 shows a schematic diagram of a time synchronized pointing device 90 of another embodiments of the present invention, wherein the device 90 comprises:
a setting module 902, configured to set a preset period; the sending module is also used for sending information of a preset period to the terminal;
a sending module 904, configured to send a wake-up message to the terminal according to a preset period, where an identifier in the wake-up message indicates information of a received message, so that the terminal performs time synchronization with the base station according to the information indicating the received message.
In this embodiment, before entering the awake state, the terminal negotiates with the base station for a preset period for receiving the awake message, and the base station sets the preset period for the terminal, where the preset period is longer than a sleep period (1280ms) of a wake-up mode of an existing terminal, so as to ensure that the terminal can accurately receive the awake message according to the preset period. As shown in fig. 4, a DRX (Discontinuous Reception) cycle of the terminal is composed of a wake-up cycle and a sleep cycle, where the terminal wakes up briefly in the sleep cycle to receive a wake-up message, and a preset cycle for receiving the wake-up message is longer than the sleep cycle.
In a specific embodiment, the setting module 902 may be a central processing unit, a base station controller, or the like, and the sending module 904 may be a transmitter, an antenna, or the like.
In embodiments of the invention, the information indicating the received message preferably comprises a time advance of the received message.
In this embodiment, the information indicating the received message included in the wake-up message may be a timing advance of the received message, and the terminal may accurately perform time synchronization with the base station side according to the timing advance. The time advance can be set by the base station with reference to the information value of the terminal before entering the wake-up mode.
In an embodiment of the fifth aspect of the present invention, kinds of communication devices are proposed, which include the time synchronization apparatus of any embodiment described above, or the time synchronization indication apparatus of any embodiment described above.
The communication device provided by the present invention includes the time synchronization apparatus according to the aforementioned any embodiment, or the time synchronization indicating apparatus according to the aforementioned any embodiment, and can achieve all the advantages of the time synchronization apparatus according to the aforementioned any embodiment, or the time synchronization indicating apparatus according to the aforementioned any embodiment.
