It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments of the present application may be combined with each other without conflict.
In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention, however, the present invention may be practiced in other ways than those specifically described herein, and therefore the scope of the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments disclosed below.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart illustrating a method for indicating downlink control channel monitoring according to an embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, the method comprises the following steps:
102, receiving a request for entering an intermediate state sent by a terminal, wherein the intermediate state is a state between a radio resource control signaling connection state and a radio resource control signaling idle state or a radio resource control signaling dormant state;
and 104, sending a response message to the request to the terminal, so that the terminal enters an intermediate state according to the response message and monitors only the downlink control channel, wherein the response message carries the broadcast period of the downlink control channel.
The indicating method for monitoring the downlink control channel defines that a terminal is in an intermediate state between RRC _ connected and RRC _ IDLE/RRC _ INACTIVE states, a base station responds to a request sent by the terminal to enter the intermediate state and sends a response message to the terminal, so that the terminal in a power saving state enters the intermediate state, and the terminal only monitors the downlink control channel sent by the base station in the intermediate state, thereby ensuring that the terminal can accurately receive the downlink control channel and simultaneously achieve the purpose of power saving. In addition, a response message replied to the terminal by the base station may carry a broadcast period of the downlink control channel, so as to ensure that the terminal can accurately receive the downlink control channel according to the broadcast period.
In the above embodiment, in the intermediate state, the terminal may receive the wake-up message signaling sent by the base station through the secondary communication interface, and wake up the primary communication interface to receive the PDCCH after receiving the wake-up message signaling, or the primary and secondary communication interfaces of the terminal are the same physical interface and may receive the wake-up message signaling, or receive the system message, the PDCCH, and other signaling of the base station, where the secondary communication interface is defined to monitor only the wake-up message signaling sent by the base station, and the power consumption of the secondary communication interface is much smaller than that of the primary communication interface.
In a specific embodiment, the terminal may be a network device such as a smart phone, a tablet computer, and a notebook computer.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating an indication method for monitoring a downlink control channel according to another embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, the method comprises the following steps:
step 202, receiving a request sent by a terminal to enter an intermediate state, wherein the intermediate state is a state between a radio resource control signaling connection state and a radio resource control signaling idle state or a radio resource control signaling dormant state;
step 204, sending a response message to the request to the terminal, so that the terminal enters an intermediate state according to the response message and then monitors only the downlink control channel, and the response message carries a broadcast period of the downlink control channel;
and step 206, setting a data identifier according to the type of the cached data, and sending the data identifier to the terminal so that the terminal can switch states according to the data identifier, wherein the data identifier indicates that the cached data is urgent data or non-urgent data.
In this embodiment, the base station sets a data identifier according to the type of the buffered data and sends the data identifier to the terminal, for example, the type of the buffered data may be identified by one bit, so that the terminal is converted from the intermediate state to the RRC _ connected state according to the type of the buffered data. For example, when the type of the buffered data is urgent, the terminal is immediately waken to enter the RRC _ connected state, and when the type of the buffered data is general, the terminal may be waken to enter the RRC _ connected state after several monitoring according to the size of the data amount, so as to ensure that the urgent data can be processed in time, and ensure that the terminal is not frequently waken to process the non-urgent data, so that the terminal can save power.
It should be noted that, the embodiment may further include setting a switching identifier, and sending the switching identifier to the terminal, so that the terminal switches the state according to the switching identifier.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating an indication method for monitoring a downlink control channel according to still another embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, the method comprises the following steps:
step 302, receiving a request sent by a terminal to enter an intermediate state, wherein the intermediate state is a state between a radio resource control signaling connection state and a radio resource control signaling idle state or a radio resource control signaling dormant state;
step 304, sending a response message to the request to the terminal, so that the terminal enters an intermediate state according to the response message and then monitors only the downlink control channel, and the response message carries a broadcast period of the downlink control channel;
and step 306, setting a switching identifier, and sending the switching identifier to the terminal so that the terminal can switch the state according to the switching identifier.
In this embodiment, the base station may also directly set the handover flag and send the handover flag to the terminal, for example, a bit is used to flag whether to wake up the terminal to enter the RRC _ connected state to receive the buffered data, so as to ensure that the terminal processes the buffered data in time.
It should be noted that, the embodiment may further include setting a data identifier according to the type of the cached data, and sending the data identifier to the terminal, so that the terminal switches the state according to the data identifier, where the data identifier indicates that the cached data is urgent data or non-urgent data.
Preferably, the broadcast periods of different subcarrier spaces are different.
In this embodiment, the response message replied to the terminal by the base station may carry a broadcast period of the downlink control channel, and the broadcast periods corresponding to different subcarrier spaces are different, so that the terminal can accurately receive the downlink control channel according to the corresponding broadcast period in different subcarrier spaces. Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method for monitoring a downlink control channel according to an embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, the method comprises the following steps:
step 402, receiving a response message of a base station to a request for entering an intermediate state, wherein the intermediate state is a state between a radio resource control signaling connection state and a radio resource control signaling idle state or a radio resource control signaling dormant state, and the response message carries a broadcast period of a downlink control channel;
and step 404, entering an intermediate state according to the response message, and monitoring a downlink control channel according to a broadcasting period.
The monitoring method of the downlink control channel provided by the invention defines that a terminal is in an intermediate state between RRC _ connected and RRC _ IDLE/RRC _ INACTIVE states, the terminal sends a request for entering the intermediate state to a base station and receives a response message which is fed back by the base station and is corresponding to the request. Further, the terminal enters an intermediate state and monitors the downlink control channel according to the broadcast period carried in the response message, i.e. the terminal in the power saving state can only monitor the downlink control channel periodically sent by the base station. By adopting the technical scheme of the invention, the mechanism for monitoring the downlink control channel of the terminal is optimized, and the aim of saving power is fulfilled while the terminal can accurately receive the downlink control channel. In addition, the terminal is ensured to accurately receive the downlink control channel by utilizing the broadcast period sent by the base station.
In the above embodiment, in the intermediate state, the terminal may receive the wake-up message signaling sent by the base station through the secondary communication interface, and wake up the primary communication interface to receive the PDCCH after receiving the wake-up message signaling, or the primary and secondary communication interfaces of the terminal are the same physical interface and may receive the wake-up message signaling, or receive the system message, the PDCCH, and other signaling of the base station, where the secondary communication interface is defined to monitor only the wake-up message signaling sent by the base station, and the power consumption of the secondary communication interface is much smaller than that of the primary communication interface.

step 504, receiving a response message of the base station to the request for entering the intermediate state, wherein the intermediate state is a state between a radio resource control signaling connection state and a radio resource control signaling idle state or a radio resource control signaling dormant state, and the response message carries a broadcast period of a downlink control channel;
step 506, entering an intermediate state according to the response message, and monitoring the downlink control channel according to the broadcast period.
In this embodiment, before entering the intermediate state, the terminal needs to negotiate with the base station, that is, the terminal sends a request for entering the intermediate state to the base station to request to enter the intermediate state.

step 606, entering an intermediate state according to the response message, and monitoring a downlink control channel according to a broadcast period;
step 608, receiving a data identifier sent by the base station;
step 610, when the data identifier indicates that the cached data is urgent data, switching from the intermediate state to a radio resource control signaling connection state, and further receiving the cached data; and when the data identification indicates that the cache data is non-emergency data, counting the cache data, switching the intermediate state into a wireless resource control signaling connection state when the quantity of the cache data reaches a preset threshold value, and further receiving the cache data.
In this embodiment, waking up the terminal according to different buffered data transitions from the intermediate state to the RRC _ connected state. When the type of the cache data is urgent, the terminal is immediately awakened to enter the RRC _ connected state, and when the type of the cache data is general, the terminal can be awakened to enter the RRC _ connected state after monitoring for several times according to the amount of the cache data. And further ensuring that urgent data can be processed in time and ensuring that the terminal is not frequently awakened to process non-urgent data, so that the terminal can save electricity.
The embodiment may further include: receiving a switching identifier sent by a base station; when the switching identifier indicates to switch the state, the intermediate state is switched to a wireless resource control signaling connection state, and then cache data is received; when the switching identification indicates that the state switching is not carried out, the intermediate state is continuously maintained.
