背景技术
低电压直流(DC)-直流(DC)变换器(LDC)是电力供应件,其需要负责向电负载供应电力并且对安装在环保车辆中的低电压辅助电池充电。
根据驱动方法将这种低压DC-DC变换器分类为各种类型,并且以全桥方式(full-bridge manner)变换高功率,以执行绝缘开关操作。

然而,在现有技术中,应另外安装零电压开关电感器以确保零电压开关操作。
然而,由于零电压开关电感器在功率开关元件的高速开关操作期间产生热量,因此需要使用散热板的散热结构,并且从系统的角度来看需要大的空间。
发明内容
本发明旨在提供一种低压DC-DC变换器以及驱动它的方法,其能够通过在变压器的核心区域中增加气隙(air gap)并调节变压器的匝数比来减小产品的尺寸和成本并增加功率密度。
然而,本实施方式的技术目标不限于上述技术目标,并且可存在其他技术目标。
根据本发明的一个方面,提供了一种低压DC-DC变换器,包括:开关,被配置为将从高电压电池供应的高电压变换为交流(AC)电压;变压器,包括在核心区域中的气隙并且被配置为使用调节后的匝数比将AC电压降低为低电压;以及电源,被配置为对低电压进行整流并将整流后的低电压提供给负载。

在环保型车辆中,低压DC-DC变换器是用于使用来自高电压主电池的高电压输出对低电压辅助电池充电并且向安装在车辆中的各种电负载供电的必要装置。此外,高功率变换使用全桥方式来执行绝缘开关操作。
在下文中,将参考图1描述传统的低压DC-DC变换器的操作。

在这种情况下,由于在功率开关元件Q1,Q2,Q3和Q4的操作期间发生功率损耗,因此使用零电压开关操作来最小化开关功率损耗。

参照图5,首先,在驱动低压DC-DC变换器100的方法中,将从车辆的高电压电池供应的高电压变换为AC电压(S110)。
此时,根据本发明的一个实施方式,功率开关元件可以以全桥方式设置,以将车辆的高电压变换为AC电压。
然后,使用其中在核心区域中添加气隙并调节匝数比的变压器120将AC电压降低为低电压。
此时,由于已经参考图4和上述等式1至等式3描述了在变压器120的核心区域中添加气隙并且调节匝数比的具体描述,下面将省略具体描述。
最后,对低电压进行整流并将其提供给车辆的低电压辅助电池和电负载(S130)。
在以上描述中,S110至S130的操作可进一步划分为附加操作或者组合成减少数量的操作。另外,可根据需要省略一些操作,或者也可改变操作的顺序。另外,即使已经参考图4描述的其他省略的操作也可应用于驱动图5的低压DC-DC变换器100的方法。
同时,可通过图6的方法设置根据本发明的一个实施方式的低压DC-DC变换器100的变压器120。
图6是根据本发明的一个实施方式的设置低压DC-DC变换器100的变压器120的方法的流程图。
参照图6,首先,通过考虑电压/电流容量和寄生电容来设置功率开关元件(S210)。
然后,设置最小电感Lmin的值以确保零电压开关操作(S220)。
这里,最小电感值是零电压开关电感器确保功率开关元件的零电压开关操作的最小值,并且被设置为使得功率开关元件的寄生电容小于存储在零电压开关电感器中的能量。
然后,根据本发明的一个实施方式,设定变压器120的匝数比并调节气隙(S230)。
此时,考虑输入电压范围来设定变压器120的匝数比并调节核心区域的气隙。
然后,使用上述等式3计算变压器120的漏电感Llk1的值(S240)。
然后,比较最小电感Lmin的设定值和计算的漏电感Llk1的值(S250)。
在比较结果中最小电感Lmin的值小于漏电感Llk1的值的情况下,在减小的磁化电流和磁化电感以及增加的漏电感值的条件下形成的变压器120应用于产品(S260)。
相反,在最小电感Lmin的值大于漏电感Llk1的值的情况下,再次执行设置匝数比并调节气隙的操作S230。
在下文中,将参考图7至图9描述根据现有技术的变压器120的内部结构,根据本发明的一个实施方式的变压器120的内部结构,以及根据变压器120的核心区域中的气隙的增加和匝数比的调节的输出值的变化。
图7是示出根据各现有技术和本发明的一个实施方式的低压DC-DC变换器100的变压器120的内部结构的视图。
参照图7,在本发明的一个实施方式中,根据现有技术另外安装在变压器120中的零电压开关电感器从变压器120中移除,气隙被添加在变压器120的核心区域中,并且调节变压器120的匝数比以代替零电压开关电感器。因此,与传统变压器相比,可减少组件数量,从而降低材料成本和产品尺寸。另外,由于产品的尺寸减小,产品的功率密度可增加。
图8A是示出根据各现有技术的低压DC-DC变换器的输出波形的视图。图8B是示出根据本发明的一个实施方式的低压DC-DC变换器100的输出波形的视图,并且示出了可在多个执行结果之间容易地比较的结果。图9是示出根据各现有技术和本发明的一个实施方式的低压DC-DC变换器100的输出值的表。
图8A示出了使用根据现有技术的输出值形成的波形,图8B示出了在变压器120的核心区域中添加气隙并且调节匝数比之后使用输出值形成的波形。
根据本发明的一个实施方式,匝数比可调节为11:1:1。
参见图9,根据本发明的一个实施方式的输入电压和输入电流与根据现有技术的输入电压和输入电流相同。根据现有技术的800μH的磁化电感在根据本发明的一个实施方式在变压器120的核心区域中添加气隙并且调节匝数比之后减小到210μH。此外,变压器120的漏电感从2.8μH增加到4.3μH。
在仿真结果中,可看出,随着磁化电感减小,磁化电流减小,并且低压DC-DC变换器100的操作性能高于或等于传统低压DC-DC变换器的操作性能,并且由于磁化电流减小,与传统的低压DC-DC变换器相比,输入电流减小,从而可预期系统效率提高的效果。此外,可看出,还能够确保变压器120的占空比的余量。
根据本发明的一个实施方式,通过在变压器的核心区域中增加气隙并调节匝数比,可显著降低产品的成本和尺寸。
还可根据产品的尺寸减小来增加低压DC-DC变换器的功率密度。
以上描述仅是示例性的,并且本领域技术人员将理解,本发明可以以其他具体形式执行而不改变技术范围和基本特征。因此,上述实施方式应该仅被视为所有方面的实例,而不是为了限制的目的。例如,描述为单一类型的每个组件可以以分布式方式实现,并且类似地,被描述为分布式的组件可以以耦合方式实现。
本发明的范围由所附权利要求限定,并且包括源自所附权利要求的含义、范围和等同物的所有修改或变更。

Claims (12)

1.一种低压直流-直流变换器,包括:
开关,被配置为将从高电压电池供应的高电压变换为交流电压;
变压器,包括在核心区域中的气隙,并且所述变压器被配置为使用调节后的匝数比将所述交流电压降低为低电压;以及
电源,被配置对所述低电压进行整流,并且将整流后的低电压提供给负载。
2.根据权利要求1所述的低压直流-直流变换器,其中,功率开关元件以全桥方式设置在所述开关中。
3.根据权利要求1所述的低压直流-直流变换器,其中,所述匝数比是基于初级输入电流、次级输入电流以及所述变压器的磁化电流来设定的。
4.根据权利要求3所述的低压直流-直流变换器,其中,通过比较用于零电压开关操作的功率开关元件的最小电感值和所述变压器的漏电感值来调节所述核心区域中的气隙和匝数比。
5.根据权利要求4所述的低压直流-直流变换器,其中,基于功率开关元件的寄生电容和存储在零电压开关电感器中的能量来设置所述最小电感值。
6.根据权利要求4所述的低压直流-直流变换器,其中,基于初级漏电感值、初级匝数以及所述变压器的初级电路电阻来计算所述漏电感值。
7.一种驱动低压直流-直流变换器的方法,该方法包括以下步骤:
将从高电压电池提供的高电压变换为交流电压;
使用其中在核心区域中包括气隙并且调节匝数比的变压器将所述交流电压降低为低电压;以及
对所述低电压进行整流并将整流后的低电压提供给负载。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中,通过以全桥方式设置的功率开关元件将所述高电压变换为所述交流电压。
9.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其中,基于初级输入电流、次级输入电流以及所述变压器的磁化电流来设置所述匝数比。
10.根据权利要求9所述的方法,其中,通过比较用于零电压开关操作的功率开关元件的最小电感值和所述变压器的漏电感值来调节所述气隙和所述变压器的匝数比。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中,基于所述功率开关元件的寄生电容和存储在零电压开关电感器中的能量来设置所述最小电感值。
12.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中,基于初级漏电感值、初级匝数以及所述变压器的初级电路电阻来计算所述漏电感值。
