Before the range hood 100 is installed, the support swing arm 24 in the hook assembly 2 is pulled out upwards and rotated forwards, so that the bottom end of the support swing arm 24 is placed on the limiting column 211 of the hook body 2, as shown in fig. 4 to 6; then, the range hood 100 is installed, the first limit hook 11 on the range hood 100 is inserted upwards between the first hook shaft pin 22 and the hook body 21 of the hook assembly 2, so that the first hook shaft pin 22 is supported on the first limit hook 11, thereby preventing the range hood 100 from tilting forwards; the second limit hook 12 on the range hood 100 is placed downwards at the front side of the support groove 242 of the support swing arm 24, the range hood 100 is continuously pushed backwards, the support swing arm 24 is pushed downwards, meanwhile, the support swing arm 24 rotates around the second hook shaft pin 23, so that the bottom end rotates forwards, until the bottom end of the support swing arm 24 rotates forwards out of the limit column 211 and slides off the limit column 211, the back side of the bottom end of the support swing arm 24 abuts against the limit column 211, the back side of the top end of the support swing arm 24 abuts against the hook body 21, and the rotation of the support swing arm 24 is avoided, so that the support swing arm 24 supports the whole weight of the range hood 100, and at this time, the range hood 100 can be fixed on an external installation base by means of self gravity, see.
