Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It is to be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not limiting of the invention. It should be further noted that, for the convenience of description, only some of the structures related to the present invention are shown in the drawings, not all of the structures.
5G communication is an evolved mobile communication technology, and various mobile communication systems such as 5G, 4G, and 3G coexist in a network for a long time. However, the frequency bands used by the networks of different mobile communication systems are different, and in order to support the frequency bands of various mobile communication systems, antennas need to be respectively deployed for the various mobile communication systems. In addition, WiFi networks are also required to be deployed in a large scale, and therefore, a large number of antennas are also required to be deployed for other wireless communication networks such as WiFi networks. Due to the large number of antennas to be deployed, the workload of deploying the antennas is large, and the antennas are difficult to install and high in cost.
In view of this, the present invention provides a broadband antenna, so that the bandwidth of one antenna can meet the requirements of multiple mobile communication systems.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a first broadband antenna according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the broadband antenna according to the embodiment includes: the antenna comprises a first antenna element 11, a second antenna element 12 and an antenna combiner 13, wherein the first antenna element 11, the second antenna element 12 and the antenna combiner 13 are arranged in an antenna shell 14.
In this embodiment, a broadband antenna is described as an example including two antenna elements, namely, a first antenna element 11 and a second antenna element 12, but the number of the antenna elements in the broadband antenna provided by the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to fig. 1, and at least two antenna elements in the broadband antenna provided by the embodiment of the present invention may be provided.
The antenna forms of the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 are not limited, and may be, for example, a planar antenna (a planar microstrip antenna, a planar strip antenna, or the like), or may be any other antenna form. The first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 are connected to a branch port 15 and a branch port 16 of the antenna combiner 13, respectively, and a combining port 17 of the antenna combiner 13 is located on one side of the antenna housing 13. The first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 have different operating frequency bands, and the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 are vertically overlapped. Naturally, in order to avoid mutual interference between the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12, an insulating isolation member is further provided between the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12. The second antenna element 12 in fig. 1 further comprises a commissioning stub for commissioning.
The antenna combiner 13 includes two branch ports, a branch port 15 and a branch port 16, respectively, and a combining port 17. The number of the branch ports of the antenna combiner 13 is not limited to that in fig. 1, and the number of the branch ports of the antenna combiner 13 is the same as the number of the antenna elements. The antenna combiner 13 may combine the radio frequency signals received by each of the branch ports into a single radio frequency signal, output the single radio frequency signal through the combining port, and transmit the radio frequency signal received by the combining port to each of the branch ports according to the working frequency bands corresponding to the different branch ports. The antenna combiner 13 is internally composed of filters, duplexers and other devices of various different frequency bands, so as to realize the functions required by the antenna combiner 13. Those skilled in the art can design the corresponding antenna combiner 13 according to the usage requirement of the antenna combiner 13. In fig. 1, the connection of the antenna combiner 13 to the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 is only a schematic connection, and in practice, the connection of the antenna combiner 13 to the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 may be made by any form of radio frequency connection line.
The working frequency bands of the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 are determined according to the requirements of the broadband antenna, and the antenna forms and sizes of the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 are determined according to the required working frequency bands. The first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 have different operating frequency bands. In a conventional antenna design, antennas in different frequency bands are spaced apart from each other to avoid mutual interference between the antennas in the different frequency bands, and the interference is reduced as the distance between the antennas is longer. However, for a wideband antenna including at least two antenna elements, the farther the distance between the antenna elements, the larger the volume required for the wideband antenna, which is disadvantageous for the installation of the wideband antenna and increases the cost of the wideband antenna. Therefore, in this embodiment, the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 are vertically overlapped, so that the size of the broadband antenna can be reduced, and the installation of the broadband antenna is facilitated. Preferably, in order to avoid interference between the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12, the operating frequency bands of the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 may be separated by a larger frequency range. If the working frequency band of the first antenna element 11 is higher than the working frequency band of the second antenna element 12, the working frequency band of the first antenna element 12 may be higher than the second frequency multiplication of the working frequency band of the second antenna element 12 or higher than the third frequency multiplication of the working frequency band of the second antenna element 12, so that the interference between the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 can be sufficiently reduced, and thus the performance of the first antenna element 11 and the performance of the second antenna element 12 which are overlapped in the vertical direction are not greatly affected, and the use requirement of the broadband antenna is met.
In an embodiment, the operating frequency band of the first antenna element 11 is higher than the operating frequency band of the second antenna element 12, then the size of the first antenna element 11 will be smaller than the size of the second antenna element 12, and therefore the first antenna element 11 is located above the second antenna element 12, so that the interference between the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 can be further reduced.
When the number of the antenna elements in the broadband antenna is more than two, in order to reduce mutual interference between the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12, the operating frequency bands of the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 may be the highest operating frequency band and the lowest operating frequency band of at least two antenna elements, respectively. The operating frequency band of the first antenna element 11 is, for example, 4900MHz-6000MHz, and the operating frequency band of the second antenna element 12 is, for example, 617MHz-960 MHz.
The broadband antenna provided by the embodiment comprises at least two antenna elements and an antenna combiner, wherein the at least two antenna elements and the antenna combiner are arranged in an antenna shell; the antenna combiner comprises at least two antenna elements, an antenna shell and a plurality of antenna elements, wherein the at least two antenna elements are respectively connected with a shunt port of the antenna combiner; the working frequency bands of the at least two antenna elements are different, the first antenna element and the second antenna element of the at least two antenna elements are overlapped in the vertical direction, and the first antenna element and the second antenna element of the at least two antenna elements are overlapped in the vertical direction, so that the vertical space inside the antenna is fully utilized, the size of the antenna is reduced on the premise that the antenna meets the required bandwidth, and the antenna is convenient to deploy.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a second embodiment of the broadband antenna provided in the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the broadband antenna provided in this embodiment includes: the first antenna element 11, the second antenna element 12, the third antenna element 21, the fourth antenna element 22 and the antenna combiner (not shown in the figure) are disposed in the antenna housing 14.
In the broadband antenna provided in this embodiment, four antenna elements are taken as an example for further description. The broadband antenna provided in the embodiment shown in fig. 1 includes a third antenna element 21 and a fourth antenna element 22 on the basis of two antenna elements, namely, a first antenna element 11 and a second antenna element 12, and the antenna forms of the third antenna element 21 and the fourth antenna element 22 are also not limited. The first antenna element 11, the second antenna element 12, the third antenna element 21 and the fourth antenna element 22 all have different operating frequency bands.
The antenna combiner comprises four combining ports which are respectively connected with the first antenna element 11, the second antenna element 12, the third antenna element 21 and the fourth antenna element 22, so that the antenna combiner can combine the radio-frequency signals received by the four branch ports into a radio-frequency signal and output the radio-frequency signal through the combining ports, and the radio-frequency signal received by the combining ports is sent to each branch port according to the working frequency bands of the antenna elements corresponding to different branch ports.
The third antenna element 21 and the second antenna element 22 may be arranged on different sides of the antenna housing 14, respectively, in order to avoid interference with the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12. The second antenna element 12 is also located on a different side of the antenna housing 14 than the third antenna element 21 and the fourth antenna element 24. For example, as shown in fig. 2, the third antenna element 21 and the fourth antenna element 24 are located at two different corners of the antenna housing 14, respectively, while the second antenna element 12 is located at a different side of the antenna housing 14 than the third antenna element 21 and the fourth antenna element 24.
The working frequency band of the first antenna element 11 may be the highest frequency band of the broadband antenna, for example, 4900MHz to 6000MHz, the working frequency band of the second antenna element 12 may be the lowest frequency band of the broadband antenna, for example, 617MHz to 960MHz, the working frequency bands of the third antenna element 21 and the fourth antenna element 22 may be the middle frequency band of the broadband antenna, for example, the working frequency band of the third antenna element 21 is 1710MHz to 2700MHz, and the working frequency band of the fourth antenna element 22 is 3300MHz to 3800 MHz. The broadband antenna provided by the embodiment covers the frequency band of 617-6000 MHz, and meets all frequency bands required by 3G to 5G mobile communication and WiFi communication. Therefore, the broadband antenna provided by the embodiment can enable one antenna to realize ultra-wideband frequency band coverage, can greatly save the time required by deploying the antenna, and reduces the volume of the broadband antenna due to the fact that the vertical space in the antenna shell is fully utilized.
