Description

Intramedullary nail with stability
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of medical instruments, and particularly relates to an intramedullary nail with stability.
Background
Intramedullary nail internal fixation is often used for long-tube bone (such as femur, humerus, ulna, tibia, radius, etc.) diaphysis fracture. The advantages are that: the intramedullary nail is firm and firm, can be fixed with little or no external fixation after operation, and is beneficial to the early movement and exercise of injured limbs; the skin incision is small, the periosteum stripping range is limited, and the damage is small; the axial force line of the fracture part can be controlled, the locked intramedullary nail can prevent the fracture rotation deformity, and the risk of the fracture of the built-in object is reduced; the closed and minimally invasive technology is adopted, so that the surgical infection rate is reduced; reducing damage to periosteum blood circulation, retaining growth factors with osteogenesis effect in hematoma, expanding marrow debris with autologous bone grafting effect, and promoting fracture healing by using factors such as micro-motion generated by muscle contraction to provide mechanical stimulation; the center fixation, the elastic fixation and the stress dispersion avoid the stress shielding effect, and the incidence rate of the re-fracture is low.
Although intramedullary nails have many advantages, in the clinical practice, there are cases where the intramedullary nails are slightly displaced in the medullary cavity, resulting in the formation of bone discontinuities or angulations of the fractured ends.
