Description

Wire feeder
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a thread supply for supplying thread to a textile machine.
Background
The thread supply is provided with a housing and a storage device, wherein the thread is drawn from the storage device through the textile machine. Such a supply is also referred to as a memory-supply.
A thread supply device for a textile machine is known from EP 2065496. The thread feeding device comprises a fixed storage body and a housing arm extending along the storage body. A line brake having a brake body is arranged at the housing arm. The braking body is pressed against the extraction end of the storage body by means of a permanent magnet assembly of an adjusting mechanism. An adjusting device for adjusting the braking effect is provided. The relative axial position of the permanent magnet assembly is variable by the adjustment mechanism either stepwise by a threaded fastening means or by a quick adjustment mechanism. For changing the brake body, the quick adjustment mechanism is activated in that the operating threaded fastener is pulled out manually with the components of the adjustment mechanism against the force of the spring. This requires manually fixing the threaded fastener during replacement of the braking body. Even in the case of further maintenance of the feeder, for example in the case of cleaning, the threaded fastener must be fixed manually. The space obtained by the pulling-out can be arranged in the adjusting device, whereby it requires a certain axial length.
EP1262436B1 describes a fastening device which can be disengaged quickly for a brake unit for a weft feeder. The brake unit has a support ring with a fastening foot, which is fastened to a support slide so as to be displaceable. The support slide is axially movable with respect to the cylinder of the feeding device. The fastening feet of the support ring and the support slide are fastened to one another by means of magnetic fastening elements. In one embodiment, the support ring is allowed to rotate relative to the support slider about an axis at right angles to the joint plane.
The support ring can be completely removed from the support slider by overcoming the magnetic force of the fixing element. During the connection of the support ring to the support slide, a tilting movement of the support ring is permitted in the illustrated alternative.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to develop a storage and supply device with a release device which allows a simpler release of the braking device and better accessibility to the braking body and the storage device.
A thread supply device according to the present invention for supplying thread to a textile machine is provided with a housing and a reservoir device from which thread is drawn through the textile machine. The memory device comprises a fixed, drum-shaped memory body with a body axis. The cage of the housing extends along the storage body. The thread supply is provided at the holder with a braking device for adjusting the thread tension of the thread, which braking device is arranged behind the storage body in the course of the thread. The braking device has a braking body, an adjusting device and a release device. The adjusting device comprises at least one adjusting element which is arranged in an adjustable manner in relation to the housing in the direction of the body axis of the storage body. Since the body axis of the storage body is substantially coordinated with the axis of the thread supply, for example by the axis of the drive shaft, the adjustment element can be axially adjusted with respect to the housing. That is to say that the adjusting element is arranged axially adjustable.
The braking body can be pressed against a clamping surface at the withdrawal end of the storage body by means of the adjusting element in the clamping position. The decoupling device comprises a carrier element which is connected at least to the adjusting element and which is arranged movably relative to the housing.
The carrier element carries the adjusting device and is arranged rotatably about a carrier axis. The carrier shaft is arranged in a carrier section of the cage and runs perpendicular to a cage axis, which extends parallel to the body axis through the cage of the housing, and perpendicular to a connecting line between the body axis and the cage axis.
The adjustment device of the braking device is rotated out of the body axis of the storage body when the carrier element is rotated about the carrier axis. The space thus released below the brake body allows simple replacement of the wearing parts of the brake body. Furthermore, the rotatability out of the body axis by the adjusting device improves the accessibility to the storage device after the brake body is removed. The improved accessibility also enables the memory device to be displaced by a defined amount in the direction of the body axis, for example for cleaning purposes.
In one embodiment, the carrier shaft is arranged in the region of an end of the brake body, which faces away from the storage body. This enables a simple folding of the adjustment device.
In one embodiment, the disengagement device comprises a locking element by means of which the carrier element can be locked in at least one locking position. In the locked position, the locking element protrudes into a recess in the carrier section of the cage.
In one embodiment, the locking element comprises a locking spring and an operating pin. The spring serves to press the locking element into the locking opening. The actuating pin is arranged on a locking spring, wherein the locking spring is compressed when the actuating pin is actuated.
In one embodiment, one of the locking positions is a clamping position of the adjustment device.
In one embodiment, one of the locking positions is a disengaged position of the adjustment device.
In one embodiment, the disengagement means comprise an elastic element which is supported on the carrier section of the holder and exerts an elastic force on the carrier element with respect to the direction of rotation of the carrier element about the carrier axis when the adjustment means are disengaged.
In one embodiment, the carrier section of the cage is designed as a removable cage part. This enables adjustment of the brake device and replacement of the release device and thus replacement of the brake.
The thread feeder configuration according to the invention is used for feeding thread to a knitting machine. The knitting machine is a circular knitting machine or a flat knitting machine or a knitting machine or the like. Alternatively, the thread feeder according to the invention is configured for feeding weft thread to a weaving machine (webmaschene).

Detailed Description
First example
The thread supply 1 shown in fig. 1 and 2 for supplying the thread 40 to the textile machine is configured as a reservoir-feeder (speed-fanellieferger ä t). The figure shows the feeder 1 on the left in the operational state and on the right in the service state (Servicezustand). The thread supply 1 has a housing 2 and a storage device with a storage body 3 from which the thread 40 is drawn through the textile machine. The textile machine is for example a circular knitting machine.
The housing 2 comprises a holder 2a and a driver housing 2 b. The holder 2a is provided with fixing means for fixing the thread supply 1 at a textile machine, for example at a machine ring (Maschinenring) of a circular knitting machine. In one embodiment, the fixing means are arranged on the side opposite to the holder 2 a. This is indicated by arrow 4 a. In this embodiment, the housing includes a contact plate 2 c.
In another embodiment, the fixing means (instead of the contact plate 2 c) are arranged on one side of the holder 2 a. This is indicated by arrow 4 b.
The wire feeder 1 has a drivable shaft, not shown in the figures, on which the storage body 3 is arranged. The shaft is rotatably supported relative to the storage body 3. The storage body 3 can be fixed while the shaft is rotating. A body axis K, which substantially corresponds to the axis of the shaft, is marked by a dashed line in fig. 1 and 2. A drive of the shaft, which is not visible in the figure, is arranged in the drive housing 2 b. The holder 2a of the housing 2 extends parallel to the axis along the storage body 3.
Fig. 2 shows a cross section through the thread supply 1 of fig. 1 parallel to the body axis K in the region of the braking means.
The storage body 3 is designed as a storage drum with a body axis K, which runs parallel to the axis of the shaft and, as mentioned, substantially corresponds to the axis of the shaft. The storage body 3 is rounded at its withdrawal end, that is to say at the lower end in fig. 1 and 2, in order to form a clamping surface 3 a.
At the winding end of the memory body 3 (upper in fig. 1 and 2) a winding element 8 with a thread guide element 8a is arranged for winding a thread 40 onto the memory body 3 of the memory device. The thread 40 is wound onto the storage body 3 in loops, which are called thread or yarn loops.
In addition to the memory body 3, the memory device comprises a pendulum 9, which is arranged inside the memory body 3.
The braking device for adjusting the line tension of the line 40 has a braking body 20 and an adjusting device for the braking body 20. The braking device is arranged behind the storage body 3 on the line progress (Fadenlauf), wherein the braking body 20 is arranged at the withdrawal end of the storage body 3.
The brake body 20 is designed conically, to be precise as a deflected brake body cone in the form of a regular truncated cone sleeve. For example made of plastic and/or metal. Corresponding or similar braking bodies are described, for example, in WO2006/045410A 1.
The axis of the brake body 20 is substantially aligned with the axis of the shaft (i.e. apart from small deviations, for example by removal of the wire 40 (Abhebung) or in the case of a deformation of the elastic brake body 20). The extraction end of the storage body 3 is rounded and forms an annular clamping surface 3a in the rounded region. The braking body 20 projects with its larger diameter beyond the clamping surface 3 a. The braking body can be pressed against a clamping surface 3a at the withdrawal end of the storage body 3 by means of the adjusting device.
When the thread 40 is pulled out by the textile machine, the thread 40 runs from the storage body 3 to the clamping surface 3a through the gap between the pull-out end of the storage body 3 and the braking body 20.
The brake body 20 is provided at its smaller diameter, i.e. at its end pointing away from the storage body 3, with a retaining portion with an inner ring 21 and an outer ring 22 a. The inner ring 21 and the outer ring 22a are connected to each other by a snap-lock connection.
The adjusting device comprises a drawing cylinder 23 with a drawing ear (abduzgs baby) 24, two magnet units 25, 26 and an output ear (Auslauf baby) 27.
The extraction cylinder 23 (apart from installation tolerances if necessary) extends parallel to the axis K. The extraction cylinder 23 guides the thread 40 from its input end facing the storage body 3 to its opposite output end, that is to say through the adjustment device.
The extraction column 23 is arranged on the holder 2a of the housing 2, to be precise on a removable carrier section 2a' of the holder 2 a.
The upper magnet unit 25 comprises an upper ring with permanent magnets 25b, wherein the upper ring is designed as the outer ring 22a of the brake body 20.
The lower magnet unit 26 comprises a lower ring 26a with permanent magnets 26 b. The outer ring 22a and the lower ring 26a are arranged at a distance from each other at the extraction cylinder 23. The lower ring 26a is connected to the extraction cylinder 23 via a thread, that is to say it is provided with an internal thread arranged on an external thread of the extraction cylinder 23. At its outer periphery, the lower ring 26a is configured as a handle.
The permanent magnets 25b of the outer ring 22a and the permanent magnets 26b of the lower ring 26a are arranged such that there are push-away forces between the outer ring 22a and the lower ring 26 a. The spacing between the lower ring 26a and the outer ring 22a can be varied by rotating the lower ring 26 a. In the case of a decrease in the distance, the force of pushing away between the outer ring 22a and the lower ring 26a and thus the braking force on the brake body 20 increases, and in the case of an increase in the distance the force of pushing away is reduced.
That is to say, the adjusting device comprises a lower ring 26a which is designed as an adjusting element, wherein the adjusting device is arranged adjustably with the lower ring 26a in the direction of the body axis K of the storage body 3 with respect to the carrier section 2a' of the holder 2a and thus of the housing 2. In the clamping position of the braking device, the braking body 20 can be pressed against the clamping surface 3a at the withdrawal end of the storage body 3 by means of an adjusting element, that is to say a lower ring 26a, via the interaction of the permanent magnets 25b, 26 b.
The braking means comprises disengagement means. The disengagement device has a carrier element 30 connected to the adjustment device, which is arranged on the carrier section 2a' of the cage 2 a. The carrier element 30 is arranged movably relative to the carrier section 2a' and thus relative to the holder 2a of the housing 2.
The carrier element 30 with the adjusting device can be pivoted about a carrier axis (Tr ä gerachse) T. The carrier axis T extends perpendicularly to the cage axis H and perpendicularly to a connecting line V between the body axis K and the cage axis H. The cage axis H extends through the cage 2a parallel to the body axis K. The carrier element 30 is arranged so as to be pivotable about the carrier axis T away from the brake body 20, more precisely so as to be foldable downward in fig. 2.
The carrier axis T is located in the carrier section 2a' of the holder 2a in the region of the end facing away from the memory body 3, i.e. in the region of the clamping surface 3a of the memory body 3.
The disengagement means comprise a locking element 31 by means of which the carrier element 30 can be locked in at least one locking position. In this example, two locking positions are provided. Two recesses 32a and 32b are formed in the carrier section 2a' of the cage 2a, wherein the L-shaped locking element 31 projects with its foot into one of the recesses 32a, 32 b. The locking element 31 comprises an actuating pin on one side, more precisely on the side facing away from the drawing, and a locking spring (not shown in the drawing) on the other side of the locking element 31. When the actuating pin is actuated against the pressure of the locking spring, the locking element 31 can be moved out of the respective recess 32a and 32 b.
The locking position is a clamping position of the adjustment device. In the clamping position, the locking element 31 projects into the recess 32a into the carrier section 2 a'. That is to say, the locking element 31 latches into the recess 32a and locks the carrier element 30 in the locking position, that is to say in the clamping position.
The second locking position is the disengaged position of the adjustment device, wherein the locking element 31 projects into the second recess 32 b. The locking element 31 latches into the recess 32a and locks the carrier element 30 in the disengaged position.
The disengagement means comprise an elastic element 38, which is supported on the carrier section 2a' of the cage 2a and exerts an elastic force on the carrier element 30. The elastic force is directed in relation to the direction of rotation of the carrier element 30. The elastic force causes the carrier element 30 to be pressed in the direction of the first locking position, i.e. the clamping position.
In one example, the elastic element 38 is designed as a helical spring and is arranged such that its axis runs approximately perpendicular to the body axis K or the cage axis H and perpendicular to the carrier axis T.
In the operating state shown in fig. 3, the adjusting device is in the clamping position and is locked. In the service state shown in fig. 4, the adjusting device is in the disengaged position and is locked. In order to move the setting device into the release position, after actuation of the actuating pin, the carrier element 30 is pivoted about the carrier axis T and is folded downward in the drawing.
Second example
The second example shown in fig. 3 and 4 corresponds to the first example, except for the following features.
The adjustment mechanism includes a spring holder 50, a spring 51 and an adjustment ring 52 configured as a handle.
The spring cage 50 has an outer spring ring 50a, tabs 50b and an inner spring post 50 c. The inner spring cylinder 50c is arranged axially displaceably on the extraction cylinder 23.
In this example, three springs 51 are provided, each extending radially from an outer spring ring 50a to the outer ring 22b of the holding portion of the brake body 20. Springs 51 are fixed at the outer spring ring 50a and the outer ring 22b, respectively. In an alternative, the spring 51 is suspended in an opening or hook provided for this purpose at one or both rings 50a, 22 b.
The adjusting ring 52 is connected to the extraction cylinder 23 via a thread, as in the first example the lower ring 26 a. Which is in contact with the spring cylinder 50 c.
By rotating the adjusting ring 52, the spring cylinder 50c and thereby the spring cage 50 can be axially displaced. By the displacement of the spring holder 50, the braking force generated by the spring 51 can be changed.
Third example
The third example shown in fig. 5 and 6 corresponds to the first example except for the following features.
The adjusting device comprises a spring unit 60 with an outer ring carrier 60a having a spring element 60b and an outer ring 22c, which is designed as an inner ring carrier, of the holding section of the brake body 20, and an adjusting unit 61 with an adjusting cone 61a and an adjusting ring 61 b.
In this example, the spring element 60b extends, for example, helically from the outer ring carrier 60a to the outer ring 22c of the brake body.
The adjusting cone 61a is arranged between the outer ring carrier 60a and the adjusting ring 61b, which, like the lower ring 26a of the first example, is connected to the extraction cylinder 23 via a thread. The adjusting ring 61b and the adjusting taper 61a are in contact.
By rotating the adjusting ring 61b, the outer ring carrier 60a and thus the spring unit 60 can be axially displaced through the adjusting cone 61 a. By displacement of said spring unit 60, the braking force generated by the spring element 60b can be varied.

The fourth example shown in fig. 7 and 8 corresponds to the first example except for the following features.
The adjusting device comprises a housing 70a with a permanent magnet 70b and a working coil 71b arranged on a coil carrier 71a within said housing 70 a. The coil carrier 71a projects as far as the outer ring 22d of the holding portion of the brake body 20. By applying an electric current to the operating coil 71b, the braking force generated by the coil carrier 71a can be varied.
The disengagement means comprise a carrier element 75 which is connected to the housing 70a of the adjustment device. The disengagement means comprise a locking element 76 corresponding to the locking element 31 of the first example.
Additionally, the carrier element 75 comprises a wire tension sensor 77.
