8. A sugar cane handling apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the carrying arm (3) is further provided with a weight sensor which is connected to a display provided on the vertical support (12) for displaying the weight of the sugar cane being handled.
9. A sugar cane handling apparatus as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a cane collecting basket (5), said carrying arms (3) and cane collecting basket (5) being located on the front and rear sides of the vertical supports (12) respectively.
