In view of the above, the present inventors have made extensive studies and studies to solve the above problems in combination with the application of the above prior art, and as a result, the present inventors have developed the present invention.

In an embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device with a detachable connection port includes: a main housing having an opening; a main circuit board disposed in the main housing; a board-to-board connector fixed and electrically connected to the main circuit board, the board-to-board connector having a first connector configured corresponding to the opening; a replaceable connection port detachably connected to the opening, the replaceable connection port comprising: a sub circuit board having a gold finger electrically connected to the first connector; the socket connector is fixedly and electrically connected with the daughter circuit board and is provided with a second joint exposed out of the opening and an installation part arranged on one side of the second joint; and a locking element fixedly connected with the mounting part and the main shell.
Based on the above, when the detachable and replaceable connection port is damaged, the user only needs to purchase a new detachable and replaceable connection port by himself, and then the detachable and replaceable connection port can be replaced by the loosening and locking of the locking element, without specially transporting the electronic device to the original factory for maintenance, so as to achieve the advantage that the electronic device and the detachable and replaceable connection port are convenient to replace, and further reduce the repair cost and the standby time of the user.

Referring to fig. 1 to 8, the present invention provides a detachable connection port and an electronic device having the same, where the electronic device 10 mainly includes a main housing 1, a main circuit board 2, a board-to-board connector 3, a detachable connection port 4 and a locking element 5; the detachable connection port 4 mainly includes a daughter board 41 and a receptacle connector 42.
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, the main housing 1 has an opening 11 and a locking hole 12, and the main housing 1 has a niche 13 at one side of the opening 11, and the locking hole 12 is formed from a bottom wall 131 of the niche 13. The electronic device 10 of the present embodiment is a notebook computer, but not limited thereto, and the electronic device 10 may also be an electronic device such as a tablet computer or a mobile device that requires a connector for charging or data transmission.
As shown in fig. 1 to 8, a main circuit board 2 is provided in a main casing 1; the board-to-board connector 3 is fixed and electrically connected to the main circuit board 2, and the board-to-board connector 3 has a first connector 31 disposed corresponding to the opening 11.
As described in detail below, the board-to-board connector 3 is a PCIE connector, a GEN3 connector or an m.2 connector, and the board-to-board connector 3 of the present embodiment is mounted below the main circuit board 2, but not limited thereto, the board-to-board connector 3 may also be mounted above the main circuit board 2, or the board-to-board connector 3 is fixed to the main circuit board 2 in a sinking manner or a mid-mount (mid-mount) manner, that is, the board-to-board connector 3 is located in a gap of the main circuit board 2.
As shown in fig. 1 to 8, the replaceable connection port 4 is detachably connected to the opening 11, and the replaceable connection port 4 includes a sub-circuit board 41 and one or more receptacle connectors 42.
The daughter circuit board 41 has a gold finger 411 at one end and a front edge 412 at the other end, the gold finger 411 is electrically plugged into the first connector 31, and the receptacle connector 42 is fixed and electrically connected to the daughter circuit board 41, so that the receptacle connector 42 is electrically connected to the board-to-board connector 3 by the gold finger 411.
In addition, the receptacle connector 42 has a second connector 421 exposed in the opening 11 and a mounting portion 422 disposed at one side of the second connector 421, in this embodiment, the receptacle connector 42 conforms to the specification of USB Type-a interface in principle, and the mounting portion 422 is additionally formed by using a metal or conductive sub-housing 423, so that when the receptacle connector 42 is mounted on the main housing 1 of the electronic device 10 by the locking element 5, the receptacle connector 42 can be grounded via the sub-housing 423 or the locking element 5. The sub-housing 423 surrounds the outside of the second connector 421, the mounting portion 422 includes a stop piece 424 extending from the sub-housing 423 of the second connector 421 and a fixing hole 425 formed from the stop piece 424, and the stop piece 424 is embedded in the niche 13 and is stopped and limited by the main housing 1.
However, in other embodiments, the socket connector 42 may partially or completely conform to the specification of the interface such as HDMI or USB TYPE-C, and the pin specification of the socket connector 42 can be easily matched by only modifying the daughter board 41. In addition, a plurality of socket connectors 42 with the same or different specifications can share one daughter board 41 and share the same gold finger 411 to mate the board-to-board connectors 3, in other words, the detachable connection port 4 can easily expand a plurality of socket connectors 42 without increasing the number of board-to-board connectors 3.
Further, the receptacle connector 42 is fixed to the sub circuit board 41 in a sunk board manner or a mid-mount (mid-mount) manner, i.e. the receptacle connector 42 is located in a gap of the sub circuit board 41, the front edge 412 and the second connector 421 are exposed out of the opening 11 of the main housing 1, and the shape of the opening 11 of the main housing 1 corresponds to the sum of the shapes of the sub circuit board 41 and the second connector 421.
The socket connector 42 is a TYPE-a connector, an HDMI connector, or a TYPE-C connector, and the number of the socket connectors 42 fixed on the sub circuit board 41 in this embodiment is one, but not limited thereto, and the number of the socket connectors 42 fixed on the sub circuit board 41 may also be multiple.
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, the locking member 5 is fixedly inserted into the fixing hole 425 and the locking hole 12, so that the locking member 5 is fixedly connected to the mounting portion 422 and the main housing 1, and the receptacle connector 42 is mounted on the electronic device 10 by the mounting portion 422. The locking member 5 may be a screw or a fastener.
As shown in fig. 1 to 8, when the electronic device 10 and the replaceable connection port 4 of the present invention are used and the replaceable connection port 4 is damaged or needs to be replaced due to other reasons, a user only needs to loosen the fixing hole 425 and the locking hole 12 of the locking element 5, pull the replaceable connection port 4 out of the opening 11 of the main housing 1 by himself, separate the gold finger 411 of the daughter circuit board 41 from the first connector 31 of the board-to-board connector 3, insert the replaceable connection port 4 of a new or other specification into the opening 11 of the main housing 1, electrically connect the gold finger 411 of the daughter circuit board 41 to the first connector 31 of the board-to-board connector 3, and lock the locking element 5 with the locking hole 12 corresponding to the fixing hole 425, so that the user can complete the operation of detaching and replacing the replaceable connection port 4 by himself.
Therefore, when the detachable and replaceable connecting port 4 is damaged, a user only needs to purchase a new detachable and replaceable connecting port 4 by himself, then the detachable and replaceable connecting port 4 can be replaced by loosening and locking the locking element 5, and the electronic device 10 does not need to be specially sent to an original factory for maintenance, so that the electronic device 10 and the detachable and replaceable connecting port 4 have the advantage of convenient replacement, and then the repair sending cost and the standby time of the user are reduced.
In addition, the board-to-board connector 3 is a PCIE connector, a GEN3 connector or an m.2 connector, so that the user can also change the detachable connection port 4 into a USB TYPE-a connector, an HDMI connector or a USB TYPE-C connector according to actual requirements, thereby improving the convenience of the electronic device 10 and the detachable connection port 4.
In summary, the detachable connection port and the electronic device having the same of the present invention are not found in the similar products and have industrial applicability, novelty and advancement, and completely meet the requirements of patent application.

Claims (10)

1. A replaceable connection port for detachably mounting to an electronic device, the electronic device having a board-to-board connector, the replaceable connection port comprising:
a sub-circuit board having a gold finger; and
and the socket connector is fixed and electrically connected with the daughter circuit board and provided with an installation part, the socket connector is installed on the electronic device by the installation part, and the socket connector is electrically butted with the board-to-board connector by the golden finger.
2. The replaceable connection port of claim 1, wherein the socket connector is fixed to the daughter circuit board by a sunk plate or a mid-mount.
3. The replaceable connection port of claim 1, wherein the socket connector has a sub-housing, and the mounting portion includes a stop piece extending from one side of the sub-housing and a fixing hole formed from the stop piece.
4. The replaceable connection port of claim 3, further comprising a locking member, wherein the locking member is fixed to the fixing hole and fixed to the electronic device.

The replaceable connection port of claim 4, wherein the daughter circuit board has a front edge, the receptacle connector has a second contact, the daughter housing surrounds an exterior of the second contact, the electronic device has an opening, and the front edge and the second contact are exposed at the opening.
6. An electronic device with a replaceable connection port, comprising:
a main housing having an opening;
a main circuit board disposed in the main housing;
a board-to-board connector fixed and electrically connected to the main circuit board, the board-to-board connector having a first connector configured corresponding to the opening;
a replaceable connection port detachably connected to the opening, the replaceable connection port comprising:
a sub circuit board having a gold finger electrically connected to the first connector; and
at least one socket connector fixed and electrically connected to the daughter circuit board, the socket connector having a second joint exposed out of the opening and an installation part disposed at one side of the second joint; and
a locking element fixed on the mounting part and the main shell.
7. The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the shape of the opening corresponds to the sum of the shapes of the daughter board and the second connector.
8. The electronic device with a replaceable connection port as claimed in claim 6, wherein the main housing has a locking hole, the mounting portion includes a stop piece extending from one side of the second connector and a fixing hole formed from the stop piece, and the locking element is fixed to the fixing hole and the locking hole.
9. The electronic device with a replaceable connection port as claimed in claim 8, wherein the stop piece and the main housing are stopped and limited.
10. The electronic device with a detachable connection port as claimed in claim 9, wherein the main housing is provided with a niche at one side of the opening, the locking hole is formed from a bottom wall of the niche, and the stopper piece is fitted into the niche.
