9. The knee brace apparatus of claim 8 wherein said flexible connecting member wraps around the knee joint.
10. A knee brace apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein the hinge on the thigh member is provided at one end with a sleeve in which the upper end of the telescopic member is inserted and secured.
