The electronic device may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a point of sale (POS), a vehicle-mounted computer, an intelligent watch, a television, and other electronic devices with a display screen, which are not limited specifically. Hereinafter, the electronic device will be mainly described as a mobile phone.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device (such as a mobile phone) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and as shown in fig. 1, the mobile phone 100 may include a processor 101, a memory 102, a Radio Frequency (RF) circuit 103, a display screen 104, one or more sensors 106, a wireless fidelity (WiFi) device 107, a peripheral interface 108, and a power supply device 109. These components may communicate over one or more communication buses or signal lines (not shown in fig. 1). Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the hardware configuration shown in fig. 1 is not intended to be limiting of the handset 100, and that the handset 100 may include more or fewer components than shown, or some components may be combined, or a different arrangement of components.
the processor 101 is a control center of the mobile phone 100, connects various parts of the mobile phone 100 by using various interfaces and lines, and executes various functions and processes data of the mobile phone 100 by running or executing an Application (APP) stored in the memory 102 and calling data and instructions stored in the memory 102. The memory 102 is used to store application programs, data, and various operating systems. The RF circuit 103 may be used for receiving and transmitting wireless signals during the transmission and reception of information or during a call. The display screen 104 may be used to display information entered by or provided to the user, as well as various menus of the handset 100, etc. In one example, the display screen may be a touch screen. One or more sensors 106, such as light sensors, motion sensors, and other sensors. Specifically, the light sensor may include an ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor, wherein the ambient light sensor may adjust the brightness of the display screen according to the brightness of ambient light, and the proximity sensor may turn off the power supply of the display screen when the mobile phone 100 moves to the ear. A WiFi device 107 for providing the handset 100 with network access compliant with WiFi-related standard protocols. The peripheral interface 108 is used to provide various interfaces for external input/output devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, external display, external memory, SIM card, etc.). The handset 100 may also include a power supply means 109 for supplying power to the various components.
Based on the electronic device shown in fig. 1, fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart of a method for reducing power consumption of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
step 201, the electronic device determines that the display screen is in a bright screen state.
Step 202, the electronic device determines a first scene corresponding to a foreground task according to the foreground task.
Here, the foreground task of the electronic device may be a third-party application in a foreground running state, or may be a system application of the electronic device. The system software may be application software of an operating system in the electronic device, such as an application market, a browser, a recorder, and the like, and the third application software may be application software installed in the electronic device by a user, such as WeChat, microblog, Taobao, Xiaoxiao le, Rong of King, and the like.
Illustratively, there may be a variety of possible scenarios depending on the foreground task of the electronic device. For example, if the third-party application software in the foreground running state is some mini-game-type application software, such as happy xiao-le, it may be determined that the corresponding scene is a mini-game scene. For another example, if the third-party application in the foreground operation state is some application in a large-scale game, such as royal glory, the corresponding scene can be determined to be a large-scale game scene. For another example, if the third-party application in the foreground operation state is some electronic shopping application, such as panning, it may be determined that the corresponding scene is an electronic shopping scene. For another example, if the third-party application in the foreground running state is some instant messaging application, such as WeChat, it may be determined that the corresponding scenario is an instant messaging scenario. Besides the above described scenarios, other possible scenarios are possible, and are not limited in particular.
step 203, if the electronic device determines that the first scene is a preset scene, executing a preset operation corresponding to the preset scene on the foreground task; the preset operation is used for reducing the power consumption of the electronic equipment.
Here, the preset scene may be set by those skilled in the art according to actual needs and experience, for example, the preset scene may include a mini game scene, a macro game scene, and an electronic shopping scene. If the first scene determined according to the foreground task is a large game scene in the step 202, the first scene is a preset scene; if the first scene determined according to the foreground task is the instant messaging scene in step 202, the first scene is not a preset scene.
the preset operation can also be set by a person skilled in the art according to actual needs and experience. Different preset scenes may correspond to different preset operations, for example, the preset scenes include a mini game scene, and the preset operations corresponding to the preset scenes may include a first operation, a second operation, and a third operation; for another example, if the preset scene includes a large game scene, the preset operation corresponding to the preset scene may include a first operation and a third operation; the preset scene includes an electronic shopping scene, and the preset operation corresponding to the preset scene may include a first operation.
The first operation comprises reducing the frame rate displayed by the display screen if the first condition is determined to be met; the second operation comprises reducing the resolution of the display screen if it is determined that the second condition is met; the third operation comprises reducing the brightness of the display screen if the third condition is met. Illustratively, determining compliance with a first condition comprises: and starting a first timer after the click operation of the user is detected, and determining that the first condition is met if the duration of the first timer is greater than or equal to the first duration. Determining compliance with a second condition, comprising: and determining that the resolution of the display screen is greater than or equal to a preset threshold value, and determining that the second condition is met. Determining compliance with a third condition comprising: and starting a second timer after the click operation of the user is detected, and determining that the third condition is met if the duration of the second timer is greater than or equal to the second duration.
for example, if the first scene determined according to the foreground task is a large game scene in step 202, the first operation and/or the third operation may be performed in step 203, that is, the frame rate of the display screen is decreased when the first condition is determined to be met, and/or the brightness of the display screen is decreased when the third condition is determined to be met.
by adopting the method, after the electronic equipment is in the bright screen state, the electronic equipment determines the preset scene according to the foreground task, so that corresponding preset operation can be adopted for the preset scene. Therefore, different preset operations can be executed in different preset scenes, and the power consumption of the electronic equipment can be reduced in a targeted manner on the basis of not influencing the user experience.
Based on the method for reducing the power consumption of the electronic device illustrated in fig. 2, the following further describes a flow for reducing the power consumption of the electronic device with reference to fig. 6, and as shown in fig. 6, the method may include:
Step 601, determining whether a display screen of the electronic equipment is in a bright screen state.
for example, after the user lights up the screen by means of fingerprint recognition or the like, it may be determined that the display screen of the electronic device is in a lighted state.
And step 602, running foreground tasks.
For example, the user may make the application software in a foreground operating state, i.e., a foreground task, by clicking an icon on the display interface.
and 6021, not starting the function of reducing the power consumption of the electronic equipment for normal use by the user.
for example, the electronic device has sufficient electric quantity, and does not need to save electric consumption and reduce power consumption, and the function of reducing the power consumption of the electronic device does not need to be started.
Step 603, judging whether the first scene corresponding to the foreground task is a preset scene.
If the electronic device needs to save power consumption and reduce power consumption, the function of reducing the power consumption of the electronic device can be started. In the embodiment of the application, after the electronic device judges that the electric quantity is smaller than the electric quantity threshold value, the function of reducing the power consumption of the electronic device is started; alternatively, the function of reducing the power consumption of the electronic device may be triggered and turned on by the user. And is not particularly limited.
And judging whether the first scene is a preset scene, wherein the preset scene can comprise a small game scene, a large game scene and an electronic shopping scene.
In the embodiment of the application, the small game scene can be a game scene with low requirements on resolution, refresh frame rate and brightness, such as Xiaoxiaole, greedy snake, fruit ninja and the like; a small playground as shown in fig. 3 may appear when the user plays the fun game because the game can be continued by merely dragging the same shape or color of graphics to an adjacent position, without rendering the game impossible due to low resolution, low refresh frame rate, or low brightness; therefore, after the step 6141 determines that the preset scene of the foreground task is a mini-game scene, the corresponding step 6142 is to execute the first operation, the second operation and the third operation, that is, to reduce the refresh frame rate, the resolution and the brightness of the display screen of the electronic device.
examples are: when the first scene is a small-sized game scene when the user plays the fun elimination game and the user starts the power consumption reduction function, judging to perform a first operation, a second operation and a third operation on a display screen of the mobile phone, and if the first duration is 10s, the second duration is 15s and the preset resolution threshold is 1080p in the mobile phone setting; when the resolution of the display screen is detected to be 2k, the resolution of the display screen of the mobile phone is reduced to be lower than 1080p, and when the resolution of the display screen is detected to be more than 15s after the finger of the user clicks the display screen, the display screen is not clicked again, so that the brightness of the display screen can be reduced.
The large-scale game scene can be a game scene with high requirement on resolution, frame refreshing rate and low requirement on brightness; for example, when a user plays a royal glory game, a large-scale playground as shown in fig. 4 appears, because the drawing of characters in such a game scene is dazzled and beautiful and the scene is numerous and fine, if the resolution of the display screen of the electronic device is reduced, the user experience is affected, and for example, a game scene with a high requirement on the resolution of the screen of the electronic device, such as royal glory, hero union, free war, and the like, is a large-scale playground; therefore, after the step 6241 determines that the preset scene of the foreground task is a large game scene, the corresponding step 6242 is to perform the first operation and the third operation, that is, to reduce the refresh frame rate and the brightness of the display screen of the electronic device.
examples are: when the first scene is a large-scale game scene when a user plays a glory game by a queen player and the user starts a power consumption reduction function, judging that a first operation and a third operation are carried out on a display screen of the mobile phone, and if the first duration is 10s and the second duration is 15s in the mobile phone setting; when the user finger clicks the mobile phone display screen for more than 10 seconds without clicking the mobile phone display screen, the refresh frame rate of the mobile phone display screen is reduced, and when the user finger clicks the display screen for more than 15 seconds without clicking the display screen again, the brightness of the display screen can be reduced.
The electronic shopping scene can be a shopping scene with high requirements on resolution and brightness and low requirement on refresh frame rate; for example, when the user opens the electronic shopping APP, an electronic shopping scenario and a tool-class scenario appear as shown in fig. 5. Because electronic shopping scenes and tool scenes are generally static pictures in most cases and users often need to think for selection, the requirements on the refresh frame rate are not high, such as Taobao, Jingdong, mobile phone setting, mobile phone steward and the like; therefore, after step 6341 determines that the preset scene of the foreground task is an electronic shopping scene (the tool class scene may also be categorized as an electronic shopping scene), step 6342 corresponds to performing a first operation, that is, reducing the refresh frame rate of the display screen of the electronic device.
Examples are: when the first scene is an electronic shopping scene when a user applies panning shopping, and the user starts a power consumption reduction function, judging that a first operation is performed on a mobile phone display screen, and if the preset resolution threshold value is 1080p in the mobile phone setting; and when the user does not click the mobile phone display screen for more than 10 seconds after the finger clicks the mobile phone display screen, reducing the refresh frame rate of the mobile phone display screen.
The setting of the first time length and the second time length can set proper time length according to the requirement of a user; the refresh frame rate of the preset scene of the mobile phone can be reduced to f1 frames/s, and f1 is 30-60 frames/s (because the frame is less than 30 frames/s, the user can easily perceive); the resolution of the preset scene of the mobile phone may also set a resolution reduction degree according to the resolution of the current display screen, for example, r%, where r is 50% to 80%, and then the resolution reduction degree is 54% from 2k to 1080p in the above example; the brightness of the preset scene of the mobile phone can be specifically selected to reduce the brightness by p% according to the perception of the user, wherein p is 0% -100%.
