It can be seen that, in the message prompting method described in this embodiment of the present application, when multiple types of messages are received, it is determined whether the orientation of a curved display screen of an electronic device is downward, if not, multiple types of target messages with a side screen display prompting function being turned on in the multiple types of messages are determined, a display color corresponding to each type of target message in the multiple types of target messages is determined, multiple display colors are obtained, a target application or a target contact person to which each type of message in the multiple types of messages belongs is determined, a target priority corresponding to the target application or the target contact person to which each type of message in the multiple types of messages belongs is determined according to a preset correspondence between the application or the contact person and the priority, multiple target priorities are obtained, an arrangement order of the multiple display colors is determined according to the multiple target priorities, and a display area corresponding to each display color in the multiple display colors is determined, the areas of the display areas are obtained, the side screen areas are subjected to color display through a plurality of display colors according to the arrangement sequence and the areas of the display areas, so that color prompt can be carried out on various messages in the side screen areas, and a user can know that the electronic equipment receives various messages corresponding to the display colors after watching various display colors of the side screen areas, so that the color display effect of the side screen areas can be improved, and the message prompt effect is enhanced.

It can be seen that, the message prompt apparatus described in the embodiment of the present application, when receiving multiple types of messages, determines multiple types of target messages with a side screen display prompt function, determines a display color corresponding to each type of target message in the multiple types of target messages, obtains multiple display colors, determines an arrangement order of the multiple display colors, determines a display region area corresponding to each display color in the multiple display colors, obtains multiple display region areas, and displays the side screen region with the multiple display colors according to the arrangement order and the display region areas, so that color prompt can be performed on the multiple types of messages in the side screen region, and a user can know that the electronic device receives the multiple types of messages corresponding to the display colors after viewing the multiple display colors in the side screen region, thereby improving a color display effect of the side screen region, and enhancing the effect of message prompting.
It should be noted that the electronic device described in the embodiments of the present application is presented in the form of a functional unit. The term "unit" as used herein is to be understood in its broadest possible sense, and objects used to implement the functions described by the respective "unit" may be, for example, an integrated circuit ASIC, a single circuit, a processor (shared, dedicated, or chipset) and memory that execute one or more software or firmware programs, a combinational logic circuit, and/or other suitable components that provide the described functionality.
As shown in fig. 6, for convenience of description, only the portions related to the embodiments of the present application are shown, and details of the specific technology are not disclosed, please refer to the method portion of the embodiments of the present application. The electronic device may be any terminal device including a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a point of sale (POS), a vehicle-mounted computer, and the like.
Fig. 6 is a block diagram illustrating a partial structure of an electronic device provided in an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 6, the electronic device 610 may include control circuitry, which may include storage and processing circuitry 630. The storage and processing circuit 630 may be a memory, such as a hard disk drive memory, a non-volatile memory (e.g., a flash memory or other electronically programmable read-only memory used to form a solid state drive, etc.), a volatile memory (e.g., a static or dynamic random access memory, etc.), etc., and the embodiments of the present application are not limited thereto. Processing circuitry in the storage and processing circuitry 630 may be used to control the operation of the electronic device 610. The processing circuitry may be implemented based on one or more microprocessors, microcontrollers, digital signal processors, baseband processors, power management units, audio codec chips, application specific integrated circuits, display driver integrated circuits, and the like.
The storage and processing circuit 630 may be used to run software in the electronic device 610 such as an internet browsing application, a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone call application, an email application, a media playing application, operating system functions, and the like. Such software may be used to perform control operations such as, for example, camera-based image capture, ambient light measurement based on an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor measurement based on a proximity sensor, information display functionality based on status indicators such as status indicator lights of light emitting diodes, touch event detection based on a touch sensor, functionality associated with displaying information on multiple (e.g., layered) displays, operations associated with performing wireless communication functions, operations associated with collecting and generating audio signals, control operations associated with collecting and processing button press event data, and other functions in the electronic device 610, and the like, without limitation of embodiments of the present application.
The electronic device 610 may also include input-output circuitry 642. The input-output circuitry 642 may be used to enable the electronic device 610 to enable input and output of data, i.e., to allow the electronic device 610 to receive data from external devices and also to allow the electronic device 610 to output data from the electronic device 610 to external devices. Input-output circuitry 642 may further include sensor 632. The sensors 632 may include ambient light sensors, proximity sensors based on light and capacitance, touch sensors (e.g., optical and/or capacitive based touch sensors, ultrasonic sensors, wherein the touch sensors may be part of a touch display screen or may be used independently as a touch sensor structure), acceleration sensors, and other sensors, etc.
Input-output circuitry 642 may also include one or more displays, such as display 614. Display 614 may include one or a combination of liquid crystal displays, organic light emitting diode displays, electronic ink displays, plasma displays, displays using other display technologies. Display 614 may include a touch sensor array, i.e., display 614 may be a touch display screen. The touch sensor may be a capacitive touch sensor formed by a transparent touch sensor electrode (e.g., an Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) electrode) array, or may be a touch sensor formed using other touch technologies, such as acoustic wave touch, pressure sensitive touch, resistive touch, optical touch, and the like, and the embodiments of the present application are not limited thereto. The touch display screen can be a curved display screen, and the curved display screen comprises a front screen area and a side screen area on the periphery of the front screen area.
The electronic device 610 can also include an audio component 636. The audio component 636 can be used to provide audio input and output functionality for the electronic device 610. Audio components 36 in electronic device 10 may include speakers, microphones, buzzers, tone generators, and other components for generating and detecting sound.
The communications circuitry 638 may be used to provide the electronic device 610 with the ability to communicate with external devices. The communication circuits 638 may include analog and digital input-output interface circuits, and wireless communication circuits based on radio frequency signals and/or optical signals. The wireless communication circuitry in communication circuitry 638 may include radio-frequency transceiver circuitry, power amplifier circuitry, low noise amplifiers, switches, filters, and antennas. For example, wireless communication circuitry in communication circuitry 638 may include circuitry to support Near Field Communication (NFC) by transmitting and receiving near field coupled electromagnetic signals. For example, the communication circuitry 638 may include a near field communication antenna and a near field communication transceiver. The communications circuit 638 may also include a cellular telephone transceiver and antenna, a wireless local area network transceiver circuit and antenna, and so forth.
The electronic device 610 may further include a battery, power management circuitry, and other input-output units 640. The input-output unit 640 may include buttons, joysticks, click wheels, scroll wheels, touch pads, keypads, keyboards, cameras, light emitting diodes and other status indicators, etc.
A user may input commands through the input-output circuitry 642 to control operation of the electronic device 610 and may use output data of the input-output circuitry 642 to enable receipt of status information and other outputs from the electronic device 610.
In the foregoing embodiments shown in fig. 1B, fig. 2, or fig. 3, the method flows of the steps may be implemented based on the structure of the electronic device.
In the embodiments shown in fig. 4 and fig. 5A to fig. 5B, the functions of the units may be implemented based on the structure of the electronic device.
Embodiments of the present application also provide a computer storage medium, wherein the computer storage medium stores a computer program for electronic data exchange, and the computer program enables a computer to execute part or all of the steps of any one of the message prompting methods described in the above method embodiments.
Embodiments of the present application also provide a computer program product, which includes a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program, and the computer program is operable to cause a computer to execute part or all of the steps of any one of the message prompting methods as described in the above method embodiments.
It should be noted that, for simplicity of description, the above-mentioned method embodiments are described as a series of acts or combination of acts, but those skilled in the art will recognize that the present application is not limited by the order of acts described, as some steps may occur in other orders or concurrently depending on the application. Claims (14)

1. A message prompting method is applied to electronic equipment, the electronic equipment comprises a curved surface display screen, the curved surface display screen comprises a front screen area and a side screen area, and the method comprises the following steps:
when receiving multiple types of messages, determining multiple types of target messages with a side screen display prompt function started in the multiple types of messages;
acquiring icon colors and theme color combinations corresponding to applications to which each type of target messages belong in the multiple types of target messages to obtain multiple icon colors and theme color combinations, wherein the theme color corresponding to the applications to which each type of target messages belongs refers to the color of a display interface of the application, which is set by default or by user definition, in the applications to which each type of target messages belongs; synthesizing a display color corresponding to each type of target message in the multiple types of target messages according to each icon color and each theme color combination in the multiple icon colors and the theme color combinations to obtain multiple display colors;
determining the arrangement sequence of the display colors, and determining the area of a display area corresponding to each display color in the display colors according to the arrangement sequence to obtain a plurality of areas of the display areas;
and displaying the color of the side screen area in the plurality of display colors according to the arrangement sequence and the plurality of display area areas.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein said determining multiple types of target messages among said multiple types of messages for enabling a side-screen display prompt function comprises:
and determining the multi-class target messages with the function of starting the side screen display prompt function in the multi-class messages according to message prompt setting information corresponding to the application to which each class of messages belongs.
3. The method of claim 1 or 2, wherein the determining the arrangement order of the plurality of display colors comprises:
determining a target application or a target contact person to which each type of message belongs in the plurality of types of messages;
determining a target priority corresponding to a target application or a target contact person to which each type of message belongs in the multi-type messages according to a preset corresponding relation between the application or the contact person and the priority to obtain a plurality of target priorities;
determining an arrangement order of the plurality of display colors according to the plurality of target priorities.
4. The method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the color-displaying the side screen region in the plurality of display colors according to the arrangement order and the plurality of display region areas comprises:
dividing the side screen area into a plurality of display areas according to the arrangement sequence and the areas of the plurality of display areas, wherein each display area in the plurality of display areas corresponds to one display color;
displaying the plurality of display colors in the plurality of display regions.
5. The method of claim 4, further comprising:
determining second display brightness of the side screen area according to first display brightness of the front screen area, wherein the second display brightness is larger than the first display brightness;
the displaying the plurality of display colors in the plurality of display regions includes:
and displaying the display colors in the display areas according to the second display brightness.
6. The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the method further comprises:
and judging whether the orientation of the curved surface display screen of the electronic equipment is downward, if not, executing the operation of determining a plurality of target messages with the color prompt function in the multi-class messages.

8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein in the determining of multiple types of target messages in which the side-screen display prompt function is enabled, the determining unit is specifically configured to:
