Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 is a flow chart of some embodiments of a method for establishing a bearer according to the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 1, the method of this embodiment includes: and (110) to 150.
In step 110, the gateway device establishes a dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer.
The dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is a bearer which preferentially provides service guarantee for a service flow with a guaranteed bit rate, and the bearer can be used by a service flow with a non-guaranteed bit rate when the idle state of the bearer meets a certain condition.
The gateway device detects whether a guaranteed bit rate traffic is carried over a dynamically guaranteed bit rate bearer, and if so, performs step 120, and if not, performs step 140.
In step 120, if the gateway device detects that the traffic flow without guaranteed bit rate in the preset time period passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to a suspended state, so that the traffic flow without guaranteed bit rate can use the bandwidth resource of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer.
The gateway device switches the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to the suspended state, and simultaneously triggers the related network element to cache the bearer parameters before the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the suspended state, so as to recover the service guarantee capability of the bandwidth resources of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for the service flow of the guaranteed bit rate according to the cached bearer parameters.
The related network element is a network element providing service guarantee capability for the service flow with guaranteed bit rate. The relevant network elements include, for example: a gateway device and a base station. The cached bearer parameters include: and the information such as a bearer identifier, a guaranteed bit rate, a maximum bit rate and the like before the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the suspended state.
In step 130, when the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is in the suspended state, the gateway device releases the bandwidth resource of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to the service flow of the non-guaranteed bit rate, so that the idle bandwidth resource of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer can be fully utilized.
In step 140, if the gateway device detects that the traffic flow with guaranteed bit rate passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the normal state, so that the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer can provide service guarantee for the traffic flow with guaranteed bit rate in a timely and prior manner.
In step 150, the gateway device restores the service guarantee capability of the bandwidth resource of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for the service flow of the guaranteed bit rate when the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is in the normal state.
In the above embodiment, based on the novel dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, if the service flow that does not guarantee the bit rate in the preset time period passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the suspended state, and the bandwidth resource that the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is released to the service flow that does not guarantee the bit rate, thereby improving the utilization rate of the bandwidth resource.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating further embodiments of the method for establishing a bearer according to the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the method of this embodiment includes: 210-250.
In step 210, the user establishes an Rx session with a PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function) through the capability openness platform, and establishes a dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for a backward traffic application.
Step 210 is implemented, for example, by steps 210 a-210 e:
step 210a, the user requests service guarantee according to the service requirement.
Step 210b, the capability openness platform sends an AAR (Authentication Authorization Request) to the PCRF to forward the Request for service guarantee of the user.
Step 210c, the PCRF returns an AAA (Authentication Authorization Answer) to the capability openness platform. And if the PCRF agrees to provide service guarantee for the user, continuing to execute the following steps.
In step 210d, the PCRF sends an RAR (Re-Auth-request, Re-authentication authorization request) to the gateway device to indicate to establish a dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for the user.
The RAR carries GBR (guaranteed Bit Rate) and MBR (Maximum Bit Rate), and also carries a parameter indicating a bearer status. For example, the parameter indicates that the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is a normal state.
The Gateway device may be, for example, a PGW (Packet Data Network Gateway) or an SGW (Serving Gateway).
In step 210e, the gateway device returns an RAA (Re-Auth-Answer Re-authentication authorization response) to the PCRF.
Wherein, the RAA carries parameters representing the current bearer state. For example, the parameter shows that the current state of the dynamically guaranteed bit rate bearer is the normal state.
In step 220, the gateway device establishes a dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer according to the instruction of the PCRF.
In step 230, when the traffic flow without guaranteed bit rate passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, the gateway device starts a timer, and if the traffic flow without guaranteed bit rate still passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer after a predetermined time period, initiates a procedure of switching the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to the suspended state.
The process of switching to the suspend state in step 230 includes:
in step 230a, the gateway device sends a suspend request to the base station to request to switch the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to the suspend state.
In step 230b, if the base station agrees to the suspend request, the base station buffers the bearer parameters before the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the suspend state, and returns a suspend response, so as to recover the service guarantee capability of the bandwidth resources of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for the service flow of the guaranteed bit rate according to the buffered bearer parameters.
In step 230c, if receiving a suspend response that the base station agrees to the suspend request, the gateway device switches the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to the suspend state, and caches the bearer parameters before the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the suspend state, so as to recover the service guarantee capability of the bandwidth resources of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for the service flow at the guaranteed bit rate according to the cached bearer parameters.
The bearer parameters cached in steps 230b and 230c include: and the information such as a bearer identifier, a guaranteed bit rate, a maximum bit rate and the like before the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the suspended state.
In step 240, when the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is in the suspended state, the gateway device releases the bandwidth resource of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to the service flow of the non-guaranteed bit rate, so that the idle bandwidth resource of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer can be fully utilized.
In step 250, if it is detected that the service flow with guaranteed bit rate passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, the gateway device initiates a procedure of switching the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to a normal state, so that the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer can provide service guarantee for the service flow with guaranteed bit rate in a timely and preferential manner.
The process of switching to the normal state in step 250 includes:
in step 250a, the gateway device sends a recovery request to the base station to recover the service guarantee capability of the bandwidth resource carried by the dynamic guaranteed bit rate for the service flow of the guaranteed bit rate.
In step 250b, if the base station agrees to the recovery request, according to the cached bearer parameters, the base station recovers the service guarantee capability of the bandwidth resource carried by the dynamic guaranteed bit rate for the service stream of the guaranteed bit rate, and returns a recovery response.
In step 250c, if receiving a recovery response that the base station agrees to the recovery request, the gateway device switches the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer to a normal state, and recovers the service guarantee capability of the bandwidth resource of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for the service stream of the guaranteed bit rate according to the cached bearer parameters.
In the above embodiment, a novel dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is established based on the application of the user, and if no traffic flow guaranteeing the bit rate passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer within a preset time period, the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to the suspended state, and the bandwidth resource born by the dynamic guaranteed bit rate is released to the traffic flow not guaranteeing the bit rate, thereby improving the utilization rate of the bandwidth resource.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating further embodiments of the method for establishing a bearer according to the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, the method of this embodiment includes: 310 to 350.
At step 310, a service policy for establishing a dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is preconfigured at the gateway device.
In step 320, the gateway device establishes a dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer for the service flow according with the service policy according to the service policy configured in advance.
For example, the service policy is preconfigured as follows: setting up the traffic requires establishing a dynamically guaranteed bit rate bearer. When detecting that the user uses the set service, the gateway device requests the PCRF to establish a dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, and the PCRF authorizes and activates a pre-configured service policy, thereby establishing the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer.
The subsequent steps 330 to 350 are the same as the steps 230 to 250, and are not described herein again.
In the above embodiment, a novel dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is established based on a preconfigured service policy, and if a service flow that does not guarantee a bit rate in a preset time period passes through the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer, the state of the dynamic guaranteed bit rate bearer is switched to a suspended state, and bandwidth resources borne by the dynamic guaranteed bit rate are released to a service flow that does not guarantee a bit rate, so that the utilization rate of the bandwidth resources is improved.
