The UV adhesive is also called shadowless adhesive, photosensitive adhesive and ultraviolet curing adhesive, and refers to an adhesive which can be cured only by ultraviolet irradiation. In the electronic and electrical industry, UV glue is widely used, such as a binding post, a relay, a PCB pasting surface element, fixing of a coil wire terminal, and adhering of parts, and the like, and the UV glue needs to be dispensed on an electronic product and then cured. The UV adhesive curing principle is that a photoinitiator in a UV curing material generates active free radicals or cations after absorbing ultraviolet light under the irradiation of ultraviolet rays, and initiates the polymerization, crosslinking and grafting chemical reactions of monomers, so that the adhesive is converted from a liquid state to a solid state within a few seconds.
The traditional operation mode of glue dispensing and curing on the PCB is that a UV irradiation head is held by a hand to be aligned to a position to be irradiated on a workpiece, and then a controller switch is stepped by a foot to cure; this mode of operation has several problems: 1. in the UV curing process, strong radiation and heat are generated, and peculiar smell is generated by UV curing, so that corresponding protection measures such as wearing UV protective glasses and gloves are required; 2. the quality is unstable, because the distance between the UV irradiation lamp holder and the workpiece has close relation with the diameter of the light spot and the selected lens, namely an optimal distance exists, the distance cannot be guaranteed to be optimal or the distance is the same each time by manually holding the irradiation head, and the product quality is influenced; 3. the manual operation mode can only scan a certain part of work for irradiation at one time, and the production efficiency is low.
