The invention is further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings: as shown in the figure, an electric ignition device comprises a shell 1 and a flame generating mechanism 2, wherein an upper cover 3 which can be opened and closed or can be detachably connected is arranged on the shell; the flame generating mechanism comprises an ignition head 4, a power supply assembly 5 connected with a power supply 51, a first contact 521 and a second contact 522, wherein the ignition head is arranged on the outer wall of the shell and is powered by the power supply assembly to ignite an article, the first contact 521 and the second contact 522 are arranged on a power supply line between the power supply assembly and the ignition head, breaking or electric connection is realized between the first contact and the second contact through a spring 53, the shell comprises a chute 11, a touch piece 6 which is in sliding fit along the linear direction is arranged in the chute, and the touch piece is used for breaking the first contact and the second contact through compressing the spring when the upper cover is folded/installed.

The ignition head can be arc ignition or flame ignition similar to a cigar lighter.
The first contact and the second contact can be arranged at any position on the power supply line, and are preferably arranged on a circuit board, so that the manufacturing is convenient.
On the other hand, the touch piece relatively swings along the linear motion, so that the space in the shell can be occupied less, and the whole ignition device is compact in structure.
In this embodiment, as shown in the drawing, the power supply assembly includes a circuit board 52, where a first contact 521 and a second contact 522 are correspondingly disposed on the circuit board.
In this embodiment, the electric connector further includes a retractable electric connector (spring), when the upper cover is opened, and the electric connector is used to realize the electric communication between the first contact and the second contact, where the retractable electric connector may be a spring or a metal piece with a certain elasticity, and when the upper cover is closed, the touch piece is forced to press against the electric connector, so that one end of the touch piece leaves the first contact or the second contact, and further the cutting off of the power supply circuit is realized.
