Description

Cover lock and laundry treating apparatus including the same
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of household appliances, and particularly provides a cover lock and clothes treatment equipment comprising the same.
Background
The top-loading drum washing machine mainly includes a cabinet, an outer tub fixedly disposed in the cabinet, and an inner tub pivotally disposed in the outer tub. The top of the box body is provided with an upper cover, the circumferential direction of the outer cylinder is provided with an outer cylinder cover at the position aligned with the upper cover, and the circumferential direction of the inner cylinder is provided with an inner cylinder cover at the position corresponding to the outer cylinder cover. When the inner drum cover rotates to the top of the inner drum, the upper cover, the outer drum cover and the inner drum cover are aligned, and a user can open the upper cover, the outer drum cover and the inner drum cover to put clothes into the inner drum or take the clothes out of the inner drum. After the user puts the clothes into the inner drum or takes the clothes out of the inner drum, the inner drum cover, the outer drum cover and the upper cover are closed in sequence.
In order to prevent the washing water in the tub from overflowing from the tub opening, the edge of the tub opening is usually provided with a seal ring (seal). For the outer cylinder cover capable of being automatically closed, a motor with high power needs to be selected to drive the outer cylinder cover to rotate, so that the outer cylinder cover compresses the sealing ring, and then the outer cylinder cover is locked to a closed state through the cover lock, and the effect of sealing the outer cylinder opening is achieved. However, the larger power motors are also typically larger in size and the space occupied by the mounting structure is also larger. For an outer cylinder cover which is manually closed, a user needs to press the outer cylinder cover with force to enable the outer cylinder cover to compress a sealing ring, and then the outer cylinder cover is locked to a closed state by a cover lock.
Similarly, for the top-opening drum washing machine with only two layers of covers, namely the upper cover and the inner drum cover, the upper cover is buckled with the cover lock after the sealing ring is compressed, and then is locked to a closed state by the cover lock.
Accordingly, there is a need in the art for a new switch cover operating system that addresses the above-mentioned problems.

The first lock lever 622 is connected to the connecting member 621 through a first end, and a slider 6221 slidably engaged with the arc-shaped guide rail 63 is provided at a second end of the first lock lever 622. The second lock lever 623 is connected to the connecting member 621 through a first end, and a second end of the second lock lever 623 corresponds to the electromagnet 64 and can be attracted to the electromagnet 64. In order to ensure that the second lock lever 623 can be attracted by the electromagnet 64, the second end of the second lock lever 623 is provided with an iron block or a magnet, or one skilled in the art may make the entirety of the latch hook 62 of a material that can be attracted by the electromagnet 64, such as iron or a magnet, as needed. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the length of the second latch 623 is greater than the length of the first latch 622 so that the electromagnet 64 outputs a smaller suction force to provide a larger torque to the latch hook 62.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the sliding block 6221 may be replaced by a pulley to reduce the friction between the first lock bar 622 and the arc-shaped guide 63, provided that it can cooperate with the arc-shaped guide 63.
It will also be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the arcuate slide 63 may be replaced by any other suitable locking slot, such as an obliquely disposed slide, provided it is capable of mating with the locking hook 62 and thereby locking the cover 12 in the closed position.
The operation of the lid lock 62 of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to fig. 1, 4 and 5.
When the upper cover 12 is closed, the drive motor 5 closes the upper cover 12 which was opened by actuation. When the upper lid 12 is to be closed or just closed, the lid lock motor 61 drives the lock hook 62 to rotate, causing the slider 6221 to slide into the arc-shaped rail 63. When the latch hook 62 is rotated to the point where the second end of the second lock lever 623 is about to contact the electromagnet 64, the electromagnet 64 is energized to attract the second end of the second lock lever 623. Under the combined action of the cover lock motor 61 and the electromagnet 64, the lock hook 62 continues to rotate until the second end of the second lock lever 623 abuts against the electromagnet 64 or the sliding block 6221 slides to the end of the arc-shaped rail 63. At this time, the upper cover 12 presses the sealing member 4, and the washing water in the outer tub 2 can be prevented from overflowing.
When the upper cover 12 is opened, the electromagnet 64 is powered off, and the cover lock motor 61 drives the lock hook 62 to rotate in the opposite direction until the sliding block 6221 completely slides out of the arc-shaped track 63. The upper cover 12 is then automatically opened by the action of the drive motor 5 or its own return spring.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the latch hook 62 of the lid latch 6 of the present invention can be driven by the lid latch motor 611 to slide the slider 6221 into the arc-shaped guide 63 after the lid 12 is closed, and the slider 6221 can continue to slide in the arc-shaped guide 63 by the cooperation of the lid latch motor 61 and the electromagnet 64, so that the lid 12 can be pressed against the sealing member 4 on the box body 11.
Therefore, the cover lock 62 of the present invention not only has a small volume and a simple installation structure, but also enables the upper cover 12 of the top-loading drum washing machine to automatically press the sealing member 4, thereby preventing the washing water in the outer tub 2 from overflowing.
In another possible embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 7, the top-loading drum washing machine includes a triple-layered cover. Namely, the upper cover 12, the inner cylinder covers (31, 32) and the outer cylinder cover 22 pivotally provided on the outer cylinder 2 described above. At this time, the cover lock 62 is provided on the outer cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder cover 22. Specifically, a cover lock motor 61, a lock hook 62, and an electromagnet 64 are provided on the outer cylinder 2, and an arc-shaped rail 63 is provided on the outer cylinder cover 22. The outer cylinder cover 22 can press the seal provided at the edge of the outer cylinder opening 21 by the cover lock 62.
So far, the technical solutions of the present invention have been described in connection with the preferred embodiments shown in the drawings, but it is easily understood by those skilled in the art that the scope of the present invention is obviously not limited to these specific embodiments. Equivalent changes or substitutions of related technical features can be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the principle of the invention, and the technical scheme after the changes or substitutions can fall into the protection scope of the invention.
