一种治疗装置(0)及其控制方法,涉及放射医疗技术领域,治疗装置(0)包括:治疗头(01)和控制组件,控制组件用于:控制治疗头(01)从第一位置(W1)运动至第二位置(W2),且治疗头(01)的运动轨迹与在治疗头(01)运动前治疗头(01)的放射源到治疗头(01)的焦点(A)的连线不共线;其中,当治疗头(01)位于第一位置(W1)时,治疗头(01)的放射源到治疗头(01)的焦点(A)的距离为第一距离(D1),当治疗头(01)位于第二位置(W2)时,治疗头(01)的放射源到治疗头(01)的焦点(A)的距离为第二距离(D2),第一距离(D1)不等于第二距离(D2)。治疗装置(0)及其控制方法解决了放射治疗技术中体部治疗装置无法同时适用于治疗头部肿瘤和体部肿瘤的问题,实现了治疗装置(0)能够同时适用于治疗头部肿瘤和体部肿瘤的效果。
