The method and the apparatus for detecting the residual image of the display panel according to the embodiment of the invention are described in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 8.
The Display panel in this embodiment may be a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel, or may also be a Display panel of an Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) or a Display panel of a Micro-LED (Micro-LED), and the type of the Display panel is not limited in the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for detecting a residual image of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method for detecting a residual image of a display panel includes:
and step 100, controlling the display panel to be detected to display a first picture.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a display panel to be detected displaying a first frame. The first screen 10 of the embodiment includes an image 11 with preset identification code information, and the image 11 with the preset identification code information includes a first gray level sub-element 11a and a second gray level sub-element 11 b. That is, in the first frame 10, the first gray-scale value sub-unit 11a and the second gray-scale value sub-unit 11b together form the image 11 having the predetermined identification code information, and the arrangement of the first gray-scale value sub-unit 11a and the second gray-scale value sub-unit 11b is not limited in the present invention as long as the image 11 having the predetermined identification code information can be arranged and formed. The present invention is also not limited to the position where the image 11 with the preset identification code information is displayed on the display panel to be detected, and for example, the position may be located at the center of the display panel to be detected.
Step 200, the first frame is switched to the second frame.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating a second frame displayed on the display panel to be detected. The second frame 20 of the present embodiment includes an image with a third gray scale value, wherein the third gray scale value is between the first gray scale value and the second gray scale value.
And step 300, utilizing the image collector to continuously collect the second picture at regular time to obtain a plurality of detection images.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating a detection image obtained after image acquisition is performed on a second frame. The detection image 30 is an image acquired by acquiring the image displayed in the display panel to be detected by using the image acquirer during the process of completely switching the first image 10 to the second image 20. In this process, the image 11 with the preset identification code information included in the detection image 30 gradually disappears. In this step, the time interval for acquiring the plurality of detection images 30 may be set according to the requirement, and the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the image acquisition may be performed once every a certain time interval, which may be 1 second, for example. Because the initial stage is switched, the afterimage phenomenon is obvious, and therefore, the interval between two adjacent image acquisitions can be gradually reduced in the continuous acquisition process, so that the acquisition times can be reduced in the initial stage of acquisition. And image acquisition can be carried out after switching for a certain time according to the empirical value.
Step 400, determining the last detection image containing the preset identification code information in the image acquisition time sequence so as to determine the residual image disappearance time.
In the acquired detection images 30, according to the image acquisition time sequence, the first frame 11 in the detection image 30 gradually disappears, and it can be determined that the last detection image 30 containing the preset identification code information no longer contains the preset identification code information, and the time difference between the time corresponding to the last detection image 30 containing the preset identification code information and the switching start time can be used as the afterimage disappearance time.
In this embodiment, the display panel to be detected is controlled to display the first picture 10, the first picture 10 includes an image with a first gray scale value and a second gray scale value of identification code information, the first picture 10 is switched to the second picture 20 including an image with a third gray scale value, the second picture 20 is continuously collected at regular time to obtain a plurality of detection images 30, and then the last detection image 30 including the preset identification code information in the image collection time sequence is determined to determine the ghost disappearance time of the display panel to be detected. The residual shadow disappearance time of the display panel can be objectively and accurately evaluated, and a reliable basis is provided for the quality evaluation of the display panel.
In some optional embodiments, in step 100, the first screen 10 is displayed for a preset time. The longer the first frame 10 is displayed, the better the accuracy of the ghost test is, and in consideration of the test efficiency, the preset time may be 1 minute to 10 minutes.
In some optional embodiments, the first gray-scale value and the second gray-scale value may be a maximum value and a minimum value of gray scales that can be displayed by the display panel to be detected, so as to improve accuracy of detecting an afterimage of the display panel. The first gray scale value may be 255 and the second gray scale value may be 0, so that the image 11 having the predetermined identification code information included in the first frame 10 is an identification code pattern composed of a black subunit and a white subunit. The identification code pattern can be any one or more patterns such as a two-dimensional code and a bar code, and preset information can be identified. For example, the display panel can be a two-dimensional code graph, and the two-dimensional code graph can contain both square elements and line elements, so that the actual use condition of the display panel can be effectively reflected. And the black and white juncture of the two-dimensional code image is more, and the preset two-dimensional code information can be identified as long as the residual shadow does not disappear, so that the error caused by visual evaluation is avoided.
In some optional embodiments, in step 200, the second frame 20 includes an image with a third grayscale value, and for convenience of testing, the second frame 20 of the display panel to be tested is an image with a single third grayscale value, that is, the second frame 20 is entirely displayed as an image with the third grayscale value.
Wherein, the third gray scale value can be 48-128. Preferably, a value between the first gray scale value and the second gray scale value can be selected as a third gray scale value, so that the first gray scale value and the second gray scale value can be switched to the gray scale value between the first gray scale value and the second gray scale value in the process of gradually disappearing the ghost, and the situation that the third gray scale value is close to one of the first gray scale value and the second gray scale value is avoided, in the switching process, a subunit of one gray scale value is switched to a gray scale image, and a subunit of the other gray scale value cannot be switched to the gray scale image, so that the detection accuracy is influenced.
In some embodiments, please refer to fig. 5, step 300 may specifically include the following steps:
step 301, adjusting the position of the image collector to make the image collector face the light-emitting surface of the display panel to be detected. In this step, the image collector faces the light-emitting surface of the display panel to be detected, that is, the image collector faces the second picture 20 displayed by the display panel to be detected, so that it can be ensured that the collected image is not inclined, and the subsequent image processing is facilitated.
Step 302, the display panel to be detected is continuously photographed at regular time by using an image collector to obtain an original image. In this step, the original image includes some other background images, such as a frame image of the display panel and an environment image of an environment where the display panel is located, in addition to the second frame 20.
Step 303, cropping the original image to obtain a detection image. In this step, the original image is cropped, for example, by an imcrop cropping function of MATLAB software, to remove background images that are not related to the detected image.
In other alternative embodiments, please refer to fig. 6, step 300 may specifically include the following steps:
and 310, continuously photographing the display panel to be detected by utilizing an image collector at regular time to obtain an original image. In this step, the original image includes some other background images, such as a frame image of the display panel and an environment image of an environment where the display panel is located, in addition to the second frame 20.
And step 320, performing inclination correction on the original image. In this step, the processing can be specifically performed through a Houghting rectification function of MATLAB software, so as to facilitate the processing of subsequent images.
In step 330, the tilt-corrected image is cropped to obtain a detected image. In this step, the skew-corrected image is cropped, for example, by an imcrop function of MATLAB software, to remove background images that are not related to the detected image.
The image collector of the above embodiment may include a camera, and in some optional embodiments, the resolution of the camera is greater than the resolution of the display panel to be detected, so as to ensure the collection effect of the detection image. Illustratively, the resolution of the camera is greater than or equal to 3 times the resolution of the display panel to be detected.
The image collector of the above embodiment may be a camera, and the camera is used to collect the image of the second frame 20 to obtain the detection image, and the exposure time for photographing by the camera is less than the interval time between two adjacent detection images. To avoid affecting the acquisition efficiency. Illustratively, the exposure time may be less than 1 second.
In some optional embodiments, please refer to fig. 7, step 400 may specifically include the following steps:
step 410, identifying the detection image to obtain image information of the detection image. In this step, the detection image may be recognized by a recognition device, for example, to acquire image information of the detection image.
Step 420, comparing the image information of the detected image with the preset identification code information to determine the last detected image containing the preset identification code information in the image acquisition time sequence. It can be understood that, in the acquired detection image 30, before the afterimage disappears, the identified image information is consistent with the preset identification code information; if the afterimage disappears and the detection image 30 is identified, the preset identification code information cannot be acquired. In the acquisition timing, the last inspection image 30 containing the preset identification code information may be determined.
And 430, determining the residual image disappearance time of the display panel to be detected according to the timestamp of the last detection image containing the preset identification code information. Since the plurality of detection images 30 acquired in step 300 have their corresponding time stamps, since the last detection image 30 including the preset identification code information can be determined in step 420 and the time stamp of the detection image 30 can be acquired, the detection image 30 after the detection image 30 does not include the preset identification code information any more, and the time length corresponding to the time stamp can be used as the afterimage disappearance time.
In some optional embodiments, in step 410, identifying the detection image to obtain image information of the detection image may specifically include: processing the detection image to increase the contrast of the detection image; and identifying the processed image to obtain the image information of the detected image.
In this embodiment, optical enhancement and/or computer enhancement processing methods may be used, for example, an edge enhancement method, a ratio enhancement method, and the like may be used for optical enhancement, and for example, a contrast enhancement method, a spatial filtering method, and the like may be used for computer enhancement. By enhancing the detection image 30, the problem that the acquired detection image is poor in effect due to reasons such as illumination environment or object surface reflection, and the like, so that the image recognition effect is influenced, and the judgment of the residual image disappearance time is influenced finally can be avoided.
In the above embodiment, the steps of acquiring and identifying the detection image 30 may be performed separately, that is, after the acquisition and acquisition of a plurality of detection images are completed, the step of identifying the detection image 30 is performed. And the efficiency of image acquisition, acquisition and recognition can be improved without switching equipment.
In the above embodiment, the steps of acquiring and recognizing the detection images 30 may be performed alternately, that is, the recognition of the number of the detection images 30 may be performed after acquiring and acquiring a preset number of the detection images 30, for example, the recognition of the number of the detection images 30 may be performed after acquiring and acquiring 5 detection images 30. Preferably, each acquisition of a test image 30 is performed, i.e., image recognition is performed. The collection and identification of excessive invalid detection images 30 can be avoided, and the last detection image 30 containing the preset identification code information can be identified in time.
The invention also provides a display panel residual image detection device, which corresponds to the display panel residual image detection method of the embodiment.
