Description

Preparation method of solvent-resistant UV (ultraviolet) -passing hot melt adhesive for furniture coating
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of hot melt adhesives for furniture coating, and particularly relates to a preparation method of a solvent-resistant UV (ultraviolet) hot melt adhesive for furniture coating.
Background
The hot melt adhesive is a thermoplastic adhesive, and the macroscopic physical state of the hot melt adhesive changes along with the change of temperature within a certain temperature range, while the chemical properties of the hot melt adhesive are unchanged. The adhesive has the advantages of hundred percent solid content, no toxicity, quick drying, simple production process, high economic benefit, less equipment investment when used by customers, convenient use and high production efficiency.
The hot melt adhesive is widely applied to various industries and is generally applied in the field of furniture coating, the coating performance of the used coated hot melt adhesive is required to be good when the hot melt adhesive is used, and part of furniture needs to be coated with UV (ultraviolet curing paint) and passes through a UV curing line after being coated with MDF or FB, so that the hot melt adhesive is required to have higher initial adhesion and solvent resistance. The existing common EVA coated hot melt adhesive is easy to generate quality problems of foaming, demoulding and the like when used under the UV ray process, and can meet the coating requirements of common furniture, but the UV ray passing capacity, the high temperature resistance and the gluing amount are still required to be improved.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide the hot melt adhesive for furniture coating, which is resistant to a certain solvent, can pass UV rays, has strong initial adhesion and wide applicability and can meet the requirement of passing UV only by a small amount of adhesive, aiming at the defects of the existing common hot melt adhesive for EVA coating. The base component for resisting a certain solvent and providing cohesive strength is selected from proper ethylene and propylene copolymerized amorphous alpha-olefin copolymer (binary APAO) and ethylene, propylene and butylene copolymerized amorphous alpha-olefin copolymer (ternary APAO), and proper C5 and C9 petroleum resin is selected to improve the adhesion force to a base material.
The invention is realized by the following technical scheme: a preparation method of a solvent-resistant UV-through hot melt adhesive for furniture wrapping specifically comprises the following steps:
(1) putting 30-50 parts by weight of binary APAO, 10-25 parts by weight of ternary APAO, 5-8 parts by weight of Fischer-Tropsch wax and 0.3-1 part by weight of antioxidant into a kneader, starting heating and kneading uniformly, wherein the kneading frequency is 15-25Hz, the temperature of materials in the kneader is controlled at 180 ℃ and heating is carried out until the materials are completely melted;
(2) adding 30-45 parts by weight of petroleum resin into the materials melted in the step 1, uniformly kneading the materials, wherein the kneading frequency is 27-40Hz, kneading the materials until the materials are completely melted, and reducing the temperature of the materials to 135-145 ℃; obtaining solvent-resistant UV hot melt adhesive coarse material for furniture coating;
(3) discharging the solvent-resistant UV-passing furniture coating hot melt adhesive rough material obtained in the step 2 by using a plane filter, granulating, dehydrating, drying and packaging to obtain the solvent-resistant UV-passing furniture coating hot melt adhesive.
Further, the antioxidant is one or two of 2, 6-di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol, tris [2, 4-di-tert-butylphenyl ] phosphite and pentaerythrityl tetrakis [3- (3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate ] in any proportion.
Further, the fischer-tropsch wax is malaysia shell fischer-tropsch wax SX 105.
Further, the petroleum resin is composed of C5 petroleum resin and C9 petroleum resin.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: the solvent-resistant UV-passing hot melt adhesive for furniture cladding has high initial adhesion, resists certain solvent, can pass UV rays, and can meet the cladding requirements of MDF and FB. The binary and ternary copolymerized APAO mixed hot melt adhesive for covering the APAO furniture has high cohesive strength and better solvent resistance; the incorporation of the C5 petroleum resin can improve the wettability to the base material to improve the adhesion property, and the relative stability of the structure of the C9 petroleum resin can further improve the adhesion property and the heat resistance required for passing UV rays. The adhesive strength and the wettability to the base material are adjusted by adjusting the proportion of the binary APAO, the ternary APAO and the petroleum resin, the open time is controlled by the addition amount of the Fischer-Tropsch wax, and the coating uniformity is improved. The hot melt adhesive prepared by the scheme is suitable for the requirement of UV (ultraviolet) rays for furniture cladding, and the problem that the hot melt adhesive for common EVA furniture cladding cannot be used for UV rays on a large scale is solved.

As shown in Table 1, in order to examine the performance of the hot melt adhesive for furniture coatings prepared in examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 1 to 2, the mechanical properties of MDF substrates were tested 24 hours after the MDF substrates were coated with veneers by means of a universal coating machine. After the roller coating of the ultraviolet curing UV paint, the solvent in the paint can penetrate into the glue layer through the coated wood veneer downwards, and the bonding effect is damaged. The APAO high polymer in the examples 1-3 has high molecular chain regularity and low branching degree, so that the bonding is difficult to damage by a solvent, and the APAO high polymer has certain solvent resistance, and the EVA in the comparative examples 1 and 2 has high branching degree, so that the bonding structure is easy to damage by the solvent, and the bonding structure is not solvent-resistant, so that after an organic solvent in the UV paint permeates into a glue layer, a semi-finished product is subjected to photocuring to generate foaming or stripping at high temperature in UV rays, and the quality of the finished product cannot reach the standard. The coating amount also affects the number of the output materials of the product in the coating process, and in comparative examples 1 and 2, the coating amount is more than that in examples 1 to 3 and the output material number is low because the initial adhesion and the bonding strength of the coating are insufficient and the density is high.
