Description
The application is divided into separate applications by taking an invention patent with the application date of 2017-02-15 and the application number of CN201710080402.0 and named as a method and a system for automatically registering ONU equipment as a parent.
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to an ONU (optical network unit) equipment registration method for improving the use efficiency of a registration name.
Background
With the change and development of the information era, services such as real-time voice and video chat, ultra-clear video-on-demand, large file sharing transmission and the like all put higher requirements on the bandwidth and the stability of the internet. The traditional copper cable transmission technology cannot meet the increasing demand of the internet, and the traditional copper cable transmission technology is replaced by optical fiber transmission technology.
PON (Passive Optical Network ) is widely used as a broadband solution for a new generation of Optical fiber technology. The PON system structure mainly comprises an OLT (optical line terminal) at a network side, an ODN (optical distributor) and an ONU (optical network unit) at a user side, wherein services such as IP data, voice, video and the like are positioned at the OLT, are distributed to all the ONU units through the ODN in a broadcasting mode, and the ONU units filter and receive service data according to an ONUID (ONU identifier distributed by the OLT when the ONU is registered).
In order to secure the network and prevent the access of an illegal ONU, the registration with the OLT needs to be completed before the ONU can be used. The conventional method for registering the ONU by the OLT is that after the ONU is on line, the OLT acquires the serial number of the ONU through a discovery protocol, and a manager manually adds the serial number of the ONU and the ONUID to a registration database of the OLT to complete the registration process.
The traditional registration mode has obvious defects: when an ONU fails or needs to be updated to replace ONU equipment, a manager needs to update the registration database on the OLT, and when a large number of ONU equipment needs to be replaced, the following problems exist:
1. when a manager updates the registration database through manual operation, the serial number of the ONU which is still on line is easily deleted by mistake, so that the ONU network cannot work, and the database is difficult to maintain.
2. When the replaced ONUs are distributed under different OLTs, the replaced ONUs need to log in each OLT one by one to perform updating operation, and the operation is complicated.
3. When the ONU ID attribute is assigned to each device, manual assignment is prone to cause repeated assignment, which results in failure of ONU registration and poor operability.
