The advantages of the new media are obvious compared with the traditional media, such as the electronic magazines and the traditional magazines have the advantages of low cost, convenient management, easy transmission without being limited by regions, diversified contents, large information quantity and the like, so the new media are more and more popular with people and are also an integral part of the life of people. The rapid development of new media has also created significant trouble for households with children.
Taking electronic magazines as an example, many electronic magazines are transmitted by sending the electronic magazines to a parent's electronic mail box, and for the parent, there are many other mails in his own electronic mail box besides the electronic magazines subscribed for children, if the parent should read by mail to find the electronic magazines subscribed for children, and select the reading material suitable for his own child from the selected electronic magazines, it takes a long time and a great deal of effort. The electronic information is transmitted through various ways such as a network disk and the like besides the electronic mail, and the transmission mode can be different for different electronic information, and is not controlled by a user, so that parents can not only remember which account numbers possibly store the electronic information subscribed for children, but also screen the electronic documents in the account one by one, and the time and effort required for the electronic information transmission are conceivable.
In addition, if parents are office workers, the parents can only do the work after the work, so that the parents can forget, and the children cannot timely and even cannot read the electronic books of interest. Meanwhile, the children have limited understanding capability, if the children read the electronic books completely independently, partial contents can not be well understood, so that the interest of the children in reading is influenced, and the effect of the electronic books cannot be exerted to the greatest extent.

Detailed Description
The invention is described in detail below with reference to the drawings and the specific embodiments. It is noted that the aspects described below in connection with the drawings and the specific embodiments are merely exemplary and should not be construed as limiting the scope of the invention in any way.
The invention provides a novel processing scheme aiming at children's books, which monitors personal accounts (storage media such as electronic mail boxes, network disks and the like) set by users, screens according to keywords set by users after receiving new electronic information, divides document content after selecting electronic books aiming at children, automatically calculates the proportion of pictures and characters of each chapter, further screens according to the proportion of pictures and characters, and selects electronic books suitable for specific children. The selected content is automatically edited, typeset and the like according to the setting of a user, and finally is output in a segmented and time-sharing mode, so that convenient reading materials can be provided for children, and the time and energy for screening parents are greatly reduced.
FIG. 1 illustrates a flow chart of a method 100 of processing a child reader in accordance with an aspect of the invention. As shown in fig. 1, the processing method 100 may include the following steps.
Step 101, a personal account of a user at an information access system is monitored.
The information access system herein may include an email system, or a web drive, etc. The user's personal account may receive various electronic documents.
Step 102, searching the electronic document of the personal account according to the keywords.
The user may customize the search keywords, for example, the keywords may be set according to the name of the child's book that the user wishes to search. As an example, keywords may be set to "child story poster", "small mathematician", and the like, for example.
The search may be performed periodically or upon detecting that a new electronic document is received in the user's personal account.
If the electronic document matched with the keyword is searched, the searched electronic document is indicated to be the electronic document of the target child reading.
Step 103, dividing the electronic document.
The division of the electronic document may be in chapters, dividing the electronic document into a plurality of chapters, e.g., each chapter contains a separate story content.
Step 104, screening the target chapter.
Most new media are directed to children of a certain age group, the upper and lower children of which are particularly young children, and the cognitive ability gap is still very large. For example, an electronic magazine is aimed at children 3 to 6 years old, but the acceptance and reading ability or interest point of children 3 years old are quite different from those of children 6 years old, and the acceptance of the low-age children for the reading material with the combined image and text is far greater than that of the reading material with the pure text. Therefore, the documents screened only by the keywords may not be suitable for children, which causes great waste. But it takes a lot of time and effort if parents want to screen for each document.
At this step, the ratio of the illustrations and text in each chapter can be determined, and then the target chapter can be determined based on the ratio of the text in each chapter.
The graphic scale here may be a scale of the size of the illustration area and the size of the text area in each chapter. At present, there are already more mature technologies for directly separating text and pictures in a document, for example, a graph-text segmentation algorithm based on the game Cheng Shang, or more mature technologies for extracting images from a PDF file, so that an electronic document can be converted into PDF and then graph-text extraction can be performed.
As an example, a threshold may be predefined, the teletext proportion of each chapter is compared with the predefined threshold, and all chapters whose teletext proportion exceeds the threshold are determined as target chapters.
Step 105, adding pinyin to the green word.
The user may predefine a new word stock. The content of the target chapter can be traversed according to the predefined raw word stock, and pinyin is added to all words in the target chapter that appear in the raw word stock. In particular, the present invention may mark a different color for the tonal portion of each pinyin, wherein the color of each pinyin setting indicates the corresponding tone.
The greatest trouble is the distinction of the tones in the process of knowing the new words for children, so in an example, the tones of the pinyin can be distinguished by colors, such as one tone is marked red, two tones are marked blue, three tones are marked green, and four tones are marked purple, so that when the children see the new words, the tones can be distinguished effectively through the assistance of different colors, and the new words are memorized.
And 106, typesetting the target chapter.
In one embodiment, the proportion of the new words in each line of text of the target chapter can be determined, and the line spacing of the target chapter can be adjusted based on the proportion of the new words of each line.
For example, the user may reserve a threshold value, compare the proportion of new words in each row in the target chapter to the threshold value, and increase the front-to-back row spacing of each row whose proportion of new words is greater than the threshold value.
The typesetting of the electronic magazines is uniform, if the number of Chinese characters filled with pinyin is relatively large, the electronic magazines can give the children a sense of the mildly hemp, the visual effect is relatively poor, and the reading effect can be directly influenced. According to the embodiment of the invention, the visual effect of the children's reading material can be obviously improved.
Step 107, obtaining custom content.
As an example, a user may pre-build a knowledge base of terms, each knowledge point of terms in the knowledge base of terms including terms and corresponding term interpretations. In this step, custom documents may be generated for the terms in the target section based on the term knowledge base for output.
For example, children are interested in baking, a user can store knowledge of baking, such as interpretation of nouns of Muffin cakes, eggbeater and the like, in a term knowledge base in advance, and when reading chapter contents, if the chapter contents contain terms in a custom content base, the custom content is read out to generate a custom printed document.
As another example, a user may pre-establish a schedule associated with an electronic document of a target child reading and custom interactive content associated with the schedule. In this step, it may be checked whether there is an unread schedule associated with the target chapter, and if so, a custom document is generated for pushing based on the custom interactive content.
The user can set the content such as the activities to be participated by the children according to the date, for example, 12 months and 8 days, the school can organize the story line, the user adds the activities into the calendar of the system as remarks, and the time for sending the electronic journal of the "children story report" of each period is about 27 days, then the related content can be stored in the custom content library through the "mom' of the UI setting module, such as: {12 months 8 days, baby: the story line of the next week adds aoto you is the most excellent. After receiving the electronic magazine on the day of 11 months and 27 days, reading the content from the custom content library to generate a custom print document, wherein the content is printed only when the content is printed for the first time.
In this example, if both the interpretation of the new noun and the "mom" are read, the data of the two custom contents are combined, and the print data is generated together with the edited electronic document.
In the prior art, the problem of interaction between parents and children is avoided in the printing process, and the system can output user-defined content besides outputting the electronic document. The user can explain the content such as proper nouns and the like in various fields of interest to children in advance in a popular and easy way and store the content in the system. When the content of the electronic document is read, related content can be output when the content is encountered, so that children can be helped to understand the reading material. In addition, parents can note things about to happen in the life of the children in the system, store the things about to say to the children in the system, and output the things together with the documents when the things are printed or pushed, so that the parents feel the parents of the children, and the reading interests of the children can be improved.
Step 108, pushing the edited electronic document.
The edited electronic document may include the edited target section and the associated custom document.
Pushing here may include pushing the electronic document to a printing device or an electronic reading device.
According to an aspect of the invention, each target chapter and associated custom document may be pushed sequentially at predefined output time intervals. The output time interval here may be predefined based on the concentration and age of the child reader and the content of the electronic document.
For example, the user can comprehensively consider the factors such as the concentration of children, the age, the magazine content and the like, and set how long to print a chapter of a document to be printed at intervals through the output time interval of the UI setting module, for example, the printed magazine is a children story drawing report, the children can print a story in ten minutes if the printed magazine is high in story making, and can push a chapter in one hour if the printed magazine is of a learning property and the time required for reading and understanding each chapter is long.
The invention considers the problem that the factors such as the concentration force and the tolerance of the children are output in a distinguishing way, after the data to be output are generated, the user can comprehensively consider the factors such as the age, concentration force, the interested degree of certain content, the property of the document and the like of the children, set the output time interval, print or push in a time-sharing way can improve the reading interest of the children, so that the content of the electronic magazine can be understood and absorbed to the greatest extent, and the instant playing and instant requirement of a specific parent can be met through the function.
While, for purposes of simplicity of explanation, the methodologies are shown and described as a series of acts, it is to be understood and appreciated that more or less acts than those described above may be included in accordance with the various embodiments, and that the methodologies are not limited by the order of acts, as some acts may, in accordance with one or more embodiments, occur in different orders and/or concurrently with other acts from that shown and described herein or otherwise not shown and described herein, as would be understood and appreciated by those reasonably skilled in the art.
Fig. 2 illustrates a block diagram of a child reader processing device 200 in accordance with an aspect of the subject invention.
As shown in fig. 2, the processing apparatus 200 may include a UI setting module 201, a monitoring module 202, a retrieving module 203, a document segmentation module 204, a filtering module 205, a pinyin processing module 206, a typesetting processing module 207, a custom content module 208, a custom document generation module 209, and a pushing module 210.
The above modules of the processing apparatus 200 may implement the processing method shown in fig. 1.
Specifically, the UI setting module 201 is mainly responsible for making various settings by the user by displaying a UI interface. In one example, UI settings module 201 may include 1) personal account settings: setting an address and a password of a personal account of the received electronic document; 2) Processing and setting: setting keywords of the screened documents, proportion of the text of the illustration, typesetting and adjusting proportion, and outputting time intervals; 3) Setting of raw words: the user adds or deletes the Chinese characters needing to be added with pinyin according to the ages of children, textbooks and other contents; 4) And (3) custom setting: the user notes what is about to happen in the life of the child in the calendar, adds the content interacted with the child and the like; 5) Output setting: the user can select whether the edited electronic document is to be presented to the child in a print or electronic reading mode and select the appropriate device for the corresponding output mode, one embodiment of the UI interface of the module is shown in fig. 3.
The monitoring module 202 may monitor a personal account set by a user for new electronic information. The retrieval module 203 can screen the new electronic information according to the keywords set by the user. The document segmentation module 204 may segment documents meeting the filtering criteria by section. The filtering module 205 may calculate the proportion of the illustration and the text of each chapter, and filter each chapter of the document according to the setting value of the user. The pinyin processing module 206 may traverse the content of the document after filtering according to a user-defined raw word stock, and for raw words contained in the raw word stock that appears in the document, pinyin the words in the document, and mark tones of the raw words as different colors. The typesetting processing module 207 may calculate the proportion of the number of Chinese characters added with pinyin for each row to the whole row, and re-typeset the specific row according to the set condition. The custom content module 208 may generate a raw word library from the contents of a child's textbook or the like through the UI setting module 201, or may generate custom data, such as a schedule and associated custom interactive content, from the contents of a child's daily life, a field of interest, or the like. The custom document generation module 209 may read an interpretation of a user-predefined new term appearing in the electronic document, the user-predefined calendar-related content and associated interactive content, and generate a custom document. The push module 210 may generate data to be output according to the content of the electronic document, and segment time-division print or push according to the set output interval.
The system will be described in detail with electronic mailbox as the electronic information acquisition mode, print as the output, other storage media as the input and push as the output, similar to the present example. After the user subscribes to electronic resources such as electronic magazines and RSS through the electronic mailbox, the electronic mailbox can receive new mails at random, in this example, the system screens the mails after receiving the new mails according to the keywords set by the user, and the electronic documents meeting the conditions are automatically printed according to the wishes of the user. For example: the user subscribes to the children story poster, the value of screening keywords can be set to be the name of the electronic magazine in the UI setting module, when the user sends the subscribed magazine through an electronic mail, the system automatically screens new mails, and the mail does not contain the keywords set by the user, so that the system does not print, and can continuously monitor the mailbox and wait for the arrival of the next mail. If the electronic magazines of the children story drawing are received, the system can further screen and process the electronic magazines according to the setting of the user and then print the electronic magazines.
In this example, the user sets the value of "the proportion of the picture and the text" in the UI setting module according to the age and the acceptance of the child, for example, the child age is relatively small, the user can set the value of "the proportion of the picture and the text" to be 50, after receiving the electronic magazine of the "the story-board for children", the magazine is divided according to the stories, each story is taken as a section, then the proportion of the picture and the text is calculated section by section in units of sections, if the proportion of the space occupied by the picture and the text in the section is greater than 50%, the section belongs to the object to be printed, otherwise, the section is considered unsuitable for printing. All chapters meeting the requirements are saved as a temporary file to be used as a printing object.
In this example, the user may prepare a new word stock in advance by "new word setting" of the UI setting module with the textbook of the child as a reference, and "added kanji" and "deleted kanji" of the UI setting module may be used to add and delete new words. After the content of the printing object is read line by line, matching with the raw words in the raw word stock, and if the raw words in the raw word stock are contained in the read line, adding pinyin to the raw words and marking the tone of the raw words into different colors. The greatest trouble is the distinction of the tones in the process of knowing the new words for children, so in the example, the tones of the pinyin are distinguished by colors, such as one tone is marked red, two tones are marked blue, three tones are marked green, and four tones are marked purple, so when the children see the new words, the tones can be distinguished effectively through the assistance of different colors, and the new words are memorized.
FIG. 4a shows a display of a document with pinyin added.
In this example, the user can set "typesetting adjustment ratio" through the UI setting module, for example, the value of "typesetting adjustment ratio" is set to 40, and when the pinyin-added chinese characters in a row account for 40% of the entire row of characters, the row spacing of the row needs to be increased, otherwise, the original typesetting style is kept unchanged.
The raw word of the second row of fig. 4a accounts for about 58% of the whole row, so the row spacing of this row is scaled up in fig. 4b, while none of the remaining rows reaches this ratio, so the original row spacing is kept unchanged.
In this example, the user may also prepare a custom content library in advance, explain the content of interest to the child, such as content of related terms such as football, baking, etc., in a manner of image-text and appearance, and store the content by "new term" of the UI setting module. For example, children are interested in baking, a user can save the knowledge of baking, such as the explanation of nouns of Muffin cakes, eggbeater and the like in advance, and when the content of a chapter is read, if the content of the chapter contains terms in a custom content library, the custom content is read out to generate a custom printed document.
In this example, the user may set content such as activities to be participated by children according to dates in the "custom setting", for example, 12 months and 8 days, the school may organize a story line, the user adds the activity in a calendar of the system as a remark, and the time of sending the electronic journal of "children story report" in each period is about 27 days, so that related content may be saved in the custom content library through "mom's speaking" of the UI setting module, for example: {12 months 8 days, baby: the story line of the next week adds aoto you is the most excellent.
FIG. 5 is an effect diagram of a filtered document with user-defined data added thereto, typesetting, according to an example.
In fig. 5, the left part is the original chapter typesetting effect of the electronic document. The right half of the content 510 is to match the new words in the document according to the new word stock defined by the user in advance, and the matched new words are marked with pinyin to distinguish the sounds of the new words by different colors. In addition, it is assumed that the user sets the value of "typesetting adjustment ratio" to 50 in the UI setting module, and the ratio of the raw words to the whole line is about 58% in the second line in the example, so that the line spacing of the line is increased, and the remaining lines do not reach the ratio, so that the original line spacing is kept unchanged.
The bottom right half of the content 520 contains two parts of content: 1) Reading a story-taking competition of a school where a child is located in the next week according to a child activity schedule set by a user, and storing contents which want to communicate with the child for the activity by the user through a custom content module, so that a 'mom' call is read; 2) The user in the new term interprets some professional terms in popular and easily understood languages and similar articles contacted in the life of children, the new terms appear in the printed document, and the system loads the interpretation of the new terms and the content of the mother's words to be combined to generate new custom printed content. The finally printed document contains the original electronic magazine content and user-defined content.
In this example, the user may comprehensively consider factors such as concentration of the child, age, magazine content and the like, and set how long to print a chapter of a document to be printed by "output time interval" of the UI setting module, for example, the printed magazine is "child story drawing", the child has a higher story making, so that the user may set to print a story in ten minutes, and if the printed magazine is learning, the time required for reading and understanding each chapter is longer, so that the user may set to print a chapter in one hour.
