The housing 10 defines a side key passage 22 and a side key receiving cavity 24, the side key passage 22 and the side key receiving cavity 24 are communicated with each other, the side key passage 22 is a passage into which the side key 20 extends, and the direction is the first direction X. The side key receiving cavity 24 is for receiving the end 27 of the side key 20 and the side key circuit board 30. Generally, only the watertight sealing of the side keys 20, e.g., the side key channels 22, is of concern, but few solutions focus on the watertight sealing of the side key receiving cavities 24.
The side key 20 is a key located on the side of the housing 10, and may be a function key such as a volume adjustment key and a power-off key. The side key 20 includes a key cap 28 and a key post 29, the key cap 28 being located at one end of the key post 29 and partially exposed. The other end of the key post 29 extends into the side key channel 22 in the first direction X and the end 27 of the key post 29 is disposed within the side key receiving cavity 24.
The side key circuit board 30 is a circuit board connected to the side keys 20, the side key circuit board 30 is disposed inside the housing 10, the side key circuit board 30 includes the contacts 26, and the side keys 20 are electrically connected to the contacts 26.
The first waterproof member 40 is disposed in the circumferential direction of the side key 20 and is in interference fit with the housing 10, and specifically, the outer diameter of the key post 29 of the side key 20 is smaller than the inner diameter of the side key passage 22, thereby leaving a certain gap between the key post 29 and the housing 10. The first waterproof member 40 is sleeved on the circumference of the side key 20, the first waterproof member 40 is annular, and when viewed from the cross section, the annular width of the first waterproof member 40 is larger than the gap width between the key post 29 and the housing 10, so that an interference fit relationship is formed between the first waterproof member and the housing 10, and the sealing and waterproof performance of the side key 20 is improved. The number of the first waterproof members 40 may be 1, 2 or more, mainly based on the length of the side keys 20 and the structure of the housing 10, for example, when the gap between the housing 10 and the key post 29 is not uniformly distributed and has a large size, a plurality of first waterproof members 40 with different thicknesses may be respectively and specifically arranged.
To further improve the sealing and waterproof property of the first waterproof member 40, in one embodiment, the first waterproof member 40 and the side key 20 are integrally formed. Specifically, in one embodiment, the side key 20 is made of aluminum alloy, the first waterproof member 40 is made of silicone, and the side key 20 and the first waterproof member 40 are formed into an integral structure by hydraulic molding, such as a silicone liquid oil pressure molding method.
An end receiving slot 270 may be further disposed in the receiving slot of the side key 20 and at the position of the end 27 of the side key 20, for receiving the end 27 of the side key 20 and blocking possible moisture around from entering the area where the side key 20 and the side key circuit board 30 are in contact with each other.
The size of the connection between the end 27 of the side key 20 and the key post 29 is reduced so that the side key 20 is not easily withdrawn after being inserted into the side key receiving cavity 24, and a side key position limiting spacer 25 may be provided to fix the position of the side key 20 so as not to be deviated or fall out in order to further block the side key 20.
The second waterproof member 50 is located between the side key 20 and the side key circuit board 30, and the second waterproof member 50 abuts against the side key 20 and is in interference fit with the contact 26.
Specifically, the second waterproof member 50 may be made of a silica gel material, the second waterproof member 50 is in a long strip shape, and may wrap around the side key circuit board 30 by half a circumference, the length and width of the second waterproof member 50 may be just similar to those of the contact 26 of the side key circuit board 30, so as to cover the contact 26, and the second waterproof member 50 may be attached to the contact 26 by gluing. One surface of the second waterproof member 50 abuts against the end 27 of the side key 20, and the other surface thereof is in interference fit with the side contact 26, so that the sealing and waterproof performance between the side key 20 and the side key circuit board 30 is further improved, and even if water enters the side key passage and enters the side key accommodating cavity 24, the contact 26 of the side key circuit board 30 can be ensured not to be damaged due to water mist corrosion and the like, and the normal key stroke of the side key 20 is not influenced.
In the present embodiment, the second waterproof member 50 includes a waterproof portion 51 and a stopper portion 52, the waterproof portion 51 is connected to the stopper portion 52, the waterproof portion 51 covers at least the contact 26, and the stopper portion 52 extends and is fixed in the side key accommodating chamber 24 in the second direction and the first direction in order, where the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction.
The waterproof portion 51 may be a silicone rubber or the like, and mainly covers the contact 26. The stopper portion 52 is a support structure of the waterproof portion 51 for more firmly disposing the waterproof portion 51 in the housing 10. In the present embodiment, the stopper portion 52 includes a first section 521 and a second section. The side key receiving cavity 24 is formed by enclosing a plurality of walls of the housing 10, and a wall is provided in the second direction Y, and the opposite side of the wall is empty to form an opening. The first section 521 abuts against the wall and is connected to the waterproof portion 51. The second section is connected to the waterproof portion 51, and then extends along the second direction Y and the first direction X in sequence, specifically, extends to the opening along the second direction Y, then turns to the inside of the housing 10 along the first direction X, and then is fixed to the limiting rib 14, and the limiting rib 14 may be a slot or a hook. In this embodiment, the position-limiting portion 52 may further extend along the second direction Y, and then be fixed, and the end 27 is bent to form the elastic arm 5220, so as to ensure that the waterproof portion 51 forms a certain interference fit at the contact 26. As a whole, the stop portion 52 defines the position of the entire second flashing 50, in particular the position of the flashing 51. The position-limiting portion 52 may be a position-limiting spacer, which is thin and may have a thickness equal to that of the waterproof portion 51.
To further improve the sealing and waterproof performance of the second waterproof member 50, in one embodiment, the position-limiting portion 52 and the waterproof portion 51 are integrally formed to reduce the water or water vapor, for example, the entire second waterproof member 50 is made of silica gel, and for example, in one embodiment, the position-limiting portion 52 is made of stainless steel, the waterproof portion 51 is made of silica gel, and the position-limiting portion 52 and the waterproof portion 51 are formed into an integral structure by hydraulic forming, for example, by a liquid hydraulic molding method of silica gel.
In summary, the electronic device 100 provided by the present application enhances the waterproof sealing performance at the side key 20 and the waterproof sealing performance between the side key 20 and the side key circuit board 30 by providing the first waterproof member 40 and the second waterproof member 50, and further improves the waterproof and dustproof grade of the whole electronic device 100.
Further, in the present embodiment, the inventor also notes that the side key receiving cavity 24 is provided with an opening along the second direction, and in order to further prevent water from entering from the opening inwards, the electronic device 100 may further include a third water-proofing member 60, and the third water-proofing member 60 covers the opening.
The form of the third waterproof member 60 is mainly related to the structure of the case 10 on the opening side. The side key accommodating cavity 24 is enclosed by the first wall 11, the second wall 12 and the third wall 13, the first wall 11 and the second wall 12 are arranged oppositely, the third wall 13 is connected between the first wall 11 and the second wall 12, the side key circuit board 30 is arranged on one side of the second wall 12, the second waterproof piece 50 is arranged on the end face 120 of the second wall 12 after bypassing a section of the side key circuit board 30, the second waterproof piece 50 can be tightly attached to the end face 120 of the second wall 12 at the position, a part of the surface of the second waterproof piece 50 is exposed, and the third waterproof piece 60 is arranged at the opening and is attached to the first wall 11 and the second waterproof piece 50. In order to improve the sealing and waterproof performance, besides the third waterproof member 60 is formed by silica gel or the like, and the third waterproof member 60 completely covers the opening, a waterproof double-faced adhesive layer 73 may be further disposed on the surface of the third waterproof member 60 facing the side key receiving cavity 24, so that the third waterproof member 60 can be firmly attached to the position, thereby improving the sealing and waterproof performance at the position.
When the second waterproof member 50 does not extend to the second wall 12 and the second wall 12 is exposed, the waterproof double-faced adhesive layer 73 is disposed between the surface of the third waterproof member 60 and the second wall 12.
