It is explicitly and implicitly understood by one skilled in the art that the embodiments described herein can be combined with other embodiments.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a display screen and a testing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present application.
In the present embodiment, the display panel 10 includes a display portion 11, a non-display portion 12, at least two test terminals 13a, 13b, and a panel body protection terminal 14.
The display unit 11 is provided with a display unit array, and the display unit array includes a plurality of display units arrayed on the display unit 11.
The non-display section 12 is located on the periphery of the display section 11.
The at least two test terminals 13a, 13b include a first test terminal 13a and a second test terminal 13 b.
The first test terminal 13a and the second test terminal 13b are both provided on the non-display portion 12, and the test terminals 13a, 13b are both electrically connected to the display portion 11.
In a correct test connection mode, the two test terminals 13a, 13b are used to connect the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 of the test equipment 20, respectively, to test the display screen 10. For example, at the time of testing, the first test terminal 13a is used to be electrically connected to the first external terminal 21 of the test device 20, and the second test terminal 13b is used to be electrically connected to the second external terminal 21 of the test device 20.
The potential difference of the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 is larger than a first preset value.
For example, the first external terminal 21 is a positive power supply electrode, and the second external terminal 22 is a negative power supply electrode. In one embodiment, the potential at the first external terminal 21 is ELVDD (4.2V), and the potential at the second external terminal 22 is ELVSS (-2.6V).
The panel protection terminal 14 is disposed on the non-display portion 12 and between the two test terminals 13a and 13 b.
In one embodiment, the screen protection terminal 14 is not connected to any circuit of the display screen 10, in other words, the screen protection terminal 14 is a null pin, a floating pin or a non-network pin.
In another embodiment, the screen protection terminal 15 is designed such that the potential difference with the first external terminal 21 or the second external terminal 22 is smaller than a second preset value, which is smaller than or equal to the first preset value. For example, the magnitude of the potential at the screen protection terminal 15 is between the potentials of the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22.
Optionally, the second preset value is less than 50%, 60%, 70% or 80% of the first preset value.
As shown in fig. 1, when the two test terminals 13a and 13b are properly connected to the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 of the test device 20, the first external terminal 21 is connected to the first test pin 13a, and the second external terminal 22 is connected to the second test terminal 13 b.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a connection relationship between a test terminal and an external terminal when the test terminal and the external terminal are connected in a staggered manner.
When the two test terminals 13a and 13b are connected to the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 of the test apparatus 20 in a staggered manner, as shown in fig. 2, when the two test terminals are dislocated to the left, the second external terminal 22 is connected to the shield protection terminal 14, the second external terminal 22 does not approach or contact the first test terminal 13a, and the second external terminal 22 does not form a potential difference with the first test terminal 13a, so that a breakdown voltage is not generated between the second external terminal 22 and the first test terminal 13a, and the first test terminal 13a is not damaged by a shock and is not easily corroded.
In one case, the panel protection terminal 14 is not connected to any circuit of the display panel 10, and therefore, the second external terminal 22 does not damage the panel protection terminal 14.
In another case, the screen protection terminal 14 is designed such that the potential difference with the second external terminal 22 is smaller than a second preset value, which is smaller than the first preset value, that is, the potential difference between the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22, so that the second external terminal 22 and the screen protection terminal 14 do not sufficiently form a breakdown voltage, do not damage the screen protection terminal 14, or even form a breakdown voltage, are lighter than the degree of damage of the second external terminal 22 directly contacting the first test terminal 13 a.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of another connection relationship between the test terminal and the external terminal when they are connected in a staggered manner.
When the two test terminals 13a and 13b are connected to the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 of the test device 20 in a staggered manner, as shown in fig. 3, when the two test terminals are dislocated to the right, the first external terminal 21 is connected to the shield protection terminal 14, and the first external terminal 21 does not approach or contact the second test terminal 13b, so that a breakdown voltage is not generated between the first external terminal 21 and the second test terminal 13b, and the second test terminal 13b is not damaged or corroded easily.
In one case, the panel protection terminal 14 is not connected to any circuit of the display panel, and therefore, the first external terminal 21 does not damage the panel protection terminal 14.
In another case, the screen protection terminal 14 is designed such that the potential difference with the first external terminal 22 is smaller than a second preset value, which is smaller than the first preset value, that is, the potential difference between the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22, so that the first external terminal 21 and the screen protection terminal 14 do not sufficiently form a breakdown voltage, do not damage the screen protection terminal 14, or even form a breakdown voltage, are lighter than the degree of damage of the first external terminal 21 directly contacting the first test terminal 13 a.
Optionally, in a direction perpendicular to the display screen, the thickness of the screen body protection terminal 14 is greater than the thickness of the test terminals 13a, 13 b;
preferably, the thickness of the screen protection terminal 14 is equal to the sum of the thicknesses of the test terminal 13a and the first external terminal, or the thickness of the screen protection terminal 14 is equal to the sum of the thicknesses of the test terminal 13b and the second external terminal.
In an embodiment, the thickness of the screen protection terminal 14 is slightly greater than that of the test terminal, when the test terminal and the external terminal are misaligned, as shown in fig. 2, the second external terminal 22 overlaps the screen protection terminal 14, the screen protection terminal 14 is higher than the test terminal, and after the misalignment, the second external terminal 22 can be prevented from further moving to the position of the first test terminal 13a, and only the position of the second test terminal 13b can be returned to for correct alignment connection.
Optionally, the screen protection terminal 14 is made of a conductive material or an insulating material.
Specifically, when the screen protection terminal 14 is made of an insulating material, the screen protection terminal 14 is a suspension pin or a non-network pin; when the screen protection terminal 14 is made of a conductive material, the potential difference between the screen protection terminal 14 and the second external terminal 22 is designed to be smaller than a second preset value, and the second preset value is smaller than the first preset value, that is, smaller than the potential difference between the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22, so that the second external terminal 22 and the screen protection terminal 14 do not form a breakdown voltage enough to damage the screen protection terminal 14.
Alternatively, when the panel protection terminal 14 is made of an insulating material, the panel protection terminal 14 is integrally formed with the non-display portion.
Optionally, the shield protection terminal 14 is equally spaced from the adjacent test terminals 13a, 13 b. For example, the distance between the panel protection terminal 14 and the first test terminal 13a is equal to the distance between the panel protection terminal 14 and the second test terminal 13 b.
In one embodiment, the first test terminal 13a, the screen protection terminal 14, and the second test terminal 13b are sequentially disposed at intervals along the first direction x, and the first test terminal 13a, the second test terminal 13b, and the screen protection terminal 14 have the same size along the first direction x. In other words, as shown in fig. 1, the widths of the first test terminal 13a, the second test terminal 13b, and the screen protection terminal 14 are equal.
In another embodiment, the first test terminals 13a, the screen protection terminals 14, and the second test terminals 13b are sequentially arranged at intervals along the first direction x, a dimension of the first test terminals 13a along the first direction x is greater than or equal to a dimension of the screen protection terminals 14 along the first direction x, and a dimension of the second test terminals 13b along the first direction x is greater than or equal to a dimension of the screen protection terminals 14 along the first direction x. Thus, the size occupied by the screen protection terminal 14 can be reduced, and the layout space on the non-display section 12 can be saved.
Optionally, the two test terminals 13a, 13b are a positive power supply and a negative power supply of the display screen, respectively. For example, the test terminal 13a is a positive power supply, and the test terminal 13b is a negative power supply.
The present invention also provides a test apparatus 20, wherein the test apparatus 20 comprises a test circuit 23 and a first external terminal 21 and a second external terminal 22 connected to the test circuit 23, a potential difference of the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 is larger than a first preset value,
at least one test device protection terminal 25 is included between the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22, and the test device protection terminal 25 is not connected to any circuit of the test device 20 or is designed such that a potential difference between the first external terminal 21 or the second external terminal 22 is smaller than a second preset value, which is smaller than or equal to the first preset value.
In one embodiment, in the case where the test device protection terminal 23 is provided on the test device 20, the screen body protection terminal 23 may not be necessarily provided on the display screen 10, but only a certain distance may be provided between the first test terminal 13a and the second test terminal 13b, which is greater than the test terminal width of one display screen. When the test device 20 and the display screen 10 are connected in a misaligned manner, for example, when the test device 20 is misaligned leftward relative to the display screen 10, the test device protection terminal 23 is in contact with or close to the first test terminal 13a, and since the potential difference between the test device protection terminal 23 and the first test terminal 21 is smaller than the second preset value, the situation that the terminal is damaged due to too large voltage difference is avoided, and the fault tolerance of the alignment connection between the test device 20 and the display screen 10 can be increased to a certain extent. Similarly, when the test device 20 is misaligned to the right with respect to the display screen 10, the test device protection terminal 21 is in contact with or close to the second test terminal 13b, and can also perform a protection function. Through the mode, even if the connection is dislocated to a certain degree, the situation that the first test terminal 13a is contacted with the second external terminal 22 or the second test terminal 13b is contacted with the first external terminal 21 does not occur, namely, the situation that two terminals with high potential difference are directly connected does not occur, the fault tolerance rate of counterpoint connection can be improved, and the terminals are prevented from being damaged by impact.
In the present embodiment, the test apparatus 20 includes a test circuit 23 and a first external terminal 21 and a second external terminal 22 connected to the test circuit 23, and the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 are fixed relatively.
For example, the display screen is the display screen of any of the above embodiments. In the normal test, the first external terminal 21 is electrically connected to the first test terminal 13a, and the second external terminal 22 is electrically connected to the second test terminal 13 b. The first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 are spaced apart by at least the width of one test terminal 25, and the spacing corresponds to the position of the shield protection terminal 14 when the external terminal is normally connected to the test terminal.
In one embodiment, the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 are fixed on the flexible circuit board a, and the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 are fixed relatively by the flexible circuit board a. In another embodiment, the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 may be fixed to a wearing article, and the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 may be fixed in relative positions when worn on a human body (e.g., fingers). The clothing may be a finger glove, for example.
Optionally, the test device protection terminal 25 is a null pin, a floating pin, or a no network pin.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a testing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Optionally, in an embodiment, the test apparatus 20 may further include a protection circuit 24, the test circuit 23 may further include a first external terminal 21 and a second external terminal 22 connected through the protection circuit 24, and the protection circuit 24 may cut off an electrical connection between the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 and the test circuit when detecting a voltage abnormality on the first external terminal 21 or the second external terminal 22.

In the present embodiment, the test apparatus 20 may further include a buffer circuit 25, the test circuit 23 is electrically connected to the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 through the buffer circuit 25, and the buffer circuit 25 is configured to reduce an instantaneous voltage when the first external terminal 21 and the second external terminal 22 are connected to the test terminal 13a or 13 b.
The display screen of the embodiment of the application comprises: a display unit; a non-display part located at the periphery of the display part; the display screen testing device comprises at least two testing terminals, a display part and a control part, wherein the at least two testing terminals are arranged on the non-display part and are electrically connected with the display part, the two testing terminals are respectively used for connecting a first external terminal and a second external terminal so as to test the display screen, and the potential difference between the first external terminal and the second external terminal is greater than a first preset value; at least one screen protection terminal disposed on the non-display portion and between the two test terminals, the screen protection terminal not being connected to any circuit of the display screen, or is designed such that the potential difference with the first external terminal or the second external terminal is less than a second preset value, which is less than or equal to the first preset value, by the above-mentioned manner, when the first external terminal, the second external terminal and the two test terminals are connected in a staggered way in the corresponding connection process due to misoperation, the first external terminal or the second external terminal is connected to the panel protection terminal, which is not connected to any circuit of the display panel, or the potential difference between the first external terminal and the second external terminal is designed to be smaller than a second preset value, so that the damage of the first external terminal or the second external terminal to the test terminal of the display screen during dislocation can be reduced.
