Abstract
The invention provides a novel floating oil return device for a flooded evaporator, which comprises a fixed oil return pipe, a floating oil return pipe and a floating ball; the section of the floating oil return pipe is of an inverted T shape, the floating oil return pipe is divided into a vertical pipeline vertical to the liquid level and a U-shaped pipeline communicated with the bottom of the vertical pipeline, an oil return outlet is formed in the top opening of the vertical pipeline, and two top openings of the U-shaped pipeline are floating oil return openings; the vertical pipeline of the floating oil return pipe is sleeved outside the fixed oil return pipe and can move up and down along the fixed oil return pipe; the floating ball is connected with the floating oil return pipe, and the air tightness is ensured; when the liquid level of the refrigerant changes, the floating ball drives the floating oil return pipe to move up and down along the fixed oil return pipe, so that the relative position between the floating oil return port and the liquid level is always kept unchanged. According to the invention, the floating ball drives the floating oil return pipe to move up and down along the fixed oil return pipe, so that the effective oil return of the evaporator frozen oil is realized.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of flooded air conditioning units, and particularly relates to a novel floating oil return device for a flooded evaporator.
Background
The flooded evaporator is a main component of the flooded air-conditioning unit. When the flooded water chiller operates, a part of refrigerant oil in the compressor enters the condenser along with high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas and is mixed in the condensed liquid refrigerant, and the liquid refrigerant enters the flooded evaporator after being throttled and depressurized by the throttle mechanism. Because of the characteristics of the flooded evaporator structure, the flow rate of the refrigerant gas in the shell side is very low, and the refrigerant oil entering the shell side cannot be brought back to the compressor by the refrigerant gas returning to the compressor at a certain flow rate like a dry evaporator, a set of evaporator oil return device is needed to be added, and the refrigerant oil enriched in the upper layer of the liquid refrigerant in the shell side of the evaporator is returned to the compressor through the set of device.
So for a flooded evaporator, whether the refrigerant oil entering the evaporator can return to the compressor smoothly is critical to the proper operation of the overall system, and is mainly determined by the control of the refrigerant level and the position of the oil return. However, in a refrigeration or heat pump system operation, the evaporator level will float due to load changes, and the current oil return port arrangement is fixed, which results in sometimes a compressor loss of oil and a shutdown due to the fact that the oil return port cannot suck the frozen oil. The device is provided, so that the oil return port floats along with the floating of the liquid level, and the oil return port is always kept at the most suitable oil return position, thereby playing a great role in ensuring the normal operation of the system oil return.

Furthermore, the center of the floating ball is fixedly sleeved outside the floating oil return pipe, and the air tightness is ensured.
The beneficial effects are that: according to the invention, the floating ball drives the floating oil return pipe to move up and down along the fixed oil return pipe, so that the effective oil return of the frozen oil of the evaporator is realized.

A novel floating oil return device for a flooded evaporator comprises a fixed oil return pipe (1), a floating oil return pipe (2) and a floating ball (3); the section of the floating oil return pipe (2) is of an inverted T shape, the floating oil return pipe (2) is divided into a vertical pipeline (8) perpendicular to the liquid level (7) and a U-shaped pipeline (9) communicated with the bottom of the vertical pipeline, an oil return outlet (6) is arranged at the top opening of the vertical pipeline (8), and two top openings of the U-shaped pipeline (0) are floating oil return openings (5); the vertical pipeline (8) of the floating oil return pipe (2) is sleeved outside the fixed oil return pipe (1) and can move up and down along the fixed oil return pipe (1); the center of the floating ball (3) is sleeved and fixed outside the floating oil return pipe (2) and ensures the air tightness; when the liquid level (7) of the refrigerant changes, the floating ball (3) drives the floating oil return pipe (2) to move up and down along the fixed oil return pipe (1), so that the relative position of the floating oil return port (5) and the liquid level (7) is always kept unchanged.
A limiting plate (4) is arranged at the upper part of the fixed oil return pipe (1); the fixed oil return pipe (1) is welded with the limiting plate (4) and ensures air tightness, and the floating height of the floating oil return pipe (2) is limited.
The working flow of the invention is as follows:
1) Under the suction of an ejector pump (not disclosed in the patent), the frozen oil at the upper part of the evaporator enters a U-shaped pipeline (9) of the floating oil return pipe (2) from the floating oil return port (5), then enters a fixed oil return pipe (1) along a vertical pipeline (8) of the floating oil return pipe (2), and enters the ejector pump through an oil return outlet (6);
2) When the liquid level descends, the floating oil return pipe (2) descends along the fixed oil return pipe (1) along with the floating ball (3), so that the relative position between the floating oil return port (5) and the liquid level of the refrigerant is kept unchanged;
3) Similarly, if the refrigerant liquid level (7) rises, the floating oil return pipe (2) rises along the fixed oil return pipe (1) along with the floating ball (3), and the relative position of the floating oil return port (5) and the refrigerant liquid level is kept unchanged.
