Description

Submarine branching device of single-core cable constant-current power supply system and use method
Technical Field
The invention relates to a load hot plug technology of a relay submarine optical cable power supply system, in particular to a submarine branching device of a single-core cable constant-current power supply system and a use method thereof.
Background
In a power supply system with a relay submarine optical cable, one common way of supplying power to submarine electrical equipment is high-voltage constant-current power supply. The submarine main cable comprises a multi-core optical fiber and a single-core cable for supplying power to underwater equipment.
The high-voltage constant-current power supply mode uses a shore-based high-voltage constant-current power supply as the anode and the cathode of two landing points of the submarine main cable, and a current loop is formed by a single-core cable of the submarine main cable and grounding. In the high-voltage constant-current power supply system, underwater electric equipment is connected to a single-core cable of a submarine main cable in a serial connection mode, electric power is obtained through potential drop, and direct-current voltage conversion equipment of each underwater equipment converts high voltage into low voltage suitable for supplying power to the underwater electric equipment.
The common underwater equipment in the power supply system with the relay submarine optical cable is generally used in the fields of optical fiber relay communication, submarine observation equipment access and the like; the underwater equipment is generally connected with the submarine main cable through the submarine branching device and the submarine branching cable, and when the underwater equipment needs to be dismantled or the submarine optical cable transmission system needs to be expanded to be increased in function and connected with the underwater equipment, the plugging operation of the underwater equipment is needed to be carried out in the submarine optical cable transmission system which is already opened to operate. In operation, if the plugging of the underwater equipment is completed after the power-off, this means that the existing subsea communication network service of the system needs to be stopped, and the cost of such power-off is not acceptable. And each underwater device is a load connected in series on the current loop of the submarine optical cable, and the underwater device is directly plugged and unplugged, so that the current loop of the submarine optical cable is instantaneously broken.
For this purpose, a subsea diverter is designed to enable hot plug of subsea equipment.
The existing submarine branching device is provided with a built-in switch facility which is in a closed state when no underwater equipment is connected, so that a submarine main cable current loop is in a connected state, and after the underwater equipment is connected, the switch is disconnected again, so that current flows through the loaded underwater equipment. When the load underwater equipment needs to be disconnected, the switch is firstly closed, so that the two ends of the branch cable are short-circuited, and then the underwater equipment is disconnected, so that the hot plug of the underwater equipment is realized. However, when the underwater equipment with power of several kilowatts is started and closed instantaneously in the plugging process, the shore-based constant-current power supply can increase or decrease the power of several kilowatts instantaneously, so that the current loop of the submarine main cable is caused to vibrate greatly, and current impact can be caused to all underwater equipment on the submarine main cable connected in series to damage the underwater equipment; meanwhile, the on-off action of a switch facility in the submarine branching device generates on-off of kilovolt voltage, and high-voltage spark is easily formed to damage underwater equipment.
