Background
The side seal for casting and rolling is a device for preventing a liquid metal molten pool formed between two casting rolls from leaking, restrains liquid metal, promotes the forming of the thin strip and improves the edge quality of the thin strip. The side seal support and maintenance structure gives a certain pressure to the side seal to prevent the side seal from not fitting the casting roller and crushing the side seal; 2. the side seal material is required to have thermal shock resistance, thermal conductivity, metal solution erosion resistance, sufficient strength and good economical efficiency. At present, refractory materials such as quartz, boron nitride and the like are mainly used as materials of the side seal.
The defects of the prior art are as follows: 1. the side seal is attached to the crystallization roller, and the crystallization roller seriously abrades the side seal during operation, so that the liquid metal cannot be effectively sealed. 2. The side seal material is easily corroded by high-temperature metal solution, so that the edge quality of the thin strip is affected. 3. The side seal is subjected to the action of the pressure of the thin strip spread during rolling, so that the side seal is subjected to very high pressure, and the service life of the side seal is influenced. 4. The side seals are prone to wear and conduct heat, so that the casting and rolling process cannot be continuously operated for a long time.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above-mentioned technical problems, a cast-rolling side seal device is provided, which can prolong the service life, ensure the continuous production and reduce the production cost.
The technical means adopted by the invention are as follows:

the side sealing hydraulic cylinder 7 is fixed on the side sealing hydraulic cylinder bracket 6, is connected with the side sealing plate 31 and can drive the side sealing device to swing;
the side sealing device 3 is characterized in that the side sealing device 3 is provided with a mounting hole through which the crystallization roller I1 and the crystallization roller II 2 axially penetrate, and is not in contact with the end surfaces of the crystallization roller I1 and the crystallization roller II 2, and a gap is reserved;
a circulating pipeline is preset in the side sealing device 3, and a cooling medium is introduced into the pipeline.
The side seal device 3 is made of stainless steel, and the cooling medium flowing through the side seal device 3 is water and is injected into the side seal device 3 through the cooling water port 30.
The maximum clearance between the side sealing device 3 and the end faces of the crystallization rollers (the crystallization roller I1 and the crystallization roller II 2) is 0.25mm, the minimum clearance is 0.05mm, and the side sealing plate device 3 is driven by the side sealing hydraulic cylinder 7 in the interval to realize high-frequency swing so as to seal the liquid metal in the casting roller molten pool.
The above-described cast-rolling side seals are generally assembled in pairs as shown in fig. 1 to achieve a side-seam effect at both ends of the crystallization roll 1 and the crystallization roll 2.
