According to one aspect of the present invention, a support assembly includes a first bracket, a support bracket, and a second bracket. Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a carrier 20 according to a first embodiment of the present invention mounted to a cabinet 26 by a pair of support assemblies 22, 24. Specifically, the carrier 20 can be a chassis (chassis) of electronic equipment, and the support assembly 22 includes a first bracket 28, a support frame 30 and a second bracket 32, wherein the first bracket 28 is mounted at a first position P1 on a first side S1 of the cabinet 26, and the second bracket 32 is mounted at a second position P2 on the first side S1 of the cabinet 26. Similarly, another support assembly 24 is mounted to a second side S2 of the cabinet 26.
Fig. 2-4 further illustrate the arrangement of the support assembly 22 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. The first bracket 28 of the support assembly 22 includes a first end 34 and a second end 36, such as, but not limited to, a front end and a rear end. Preferably, the first bracket 28 includes a side wall 38 having a predetermined length, the side wall 38 includes the first end portion 34 and the second end portion 36, and at least one first mounting member 40, such as two, is disposed adjacent to the first end portion 34. The first bracket 28 is mounted at a first position P1 on the first side S1 of the cabinet 26 by the first mounting member 40. Further, the sidewall 38 of the first bracket 28 has a first side L1 and a second side L2. For example, the second side L2 is located opposite to the first side L1. In other words, the second side L2 is opposite to the first side L1.
In this first embodiment, the support frame 30 is integrated with the first bracket 28. The support bracket 30 is attached adjacent the second end 36 of the first bracket 28. Further, the supporting frame 30 is connected to the side wall 38 of the first bracket 28 and extends from the second side L2. Here, three support frames 30 are taken as an example, however, the implementation is only required to use one support frame 30, and is not limited. Each support frame 30 has a first support section 42. One of the first bracket 28 and the supporting frame 30 is provided with a second supporting section 44, and herein, the first bracket 28 is provided with the second supporting section 44 as an example. The first support section 42 and the second support section 44 together form a support channel 46, and the support channel 46 is used for supporting the second bracket 32. The second bracket 32 can be mounted to the first bracket 28 through the support channel 46.
The second bracket 32 includes a side wall 48 and at least one, such as two, second mounting members 50. The side wall 48 of the second bracket 32 has a predetermined length, and the side wall 48 of the second bracket 32 is supported in the support channel 46. The second mount 50 is disposed adjacent an end 52 of the side wall 48 of the second bracket 32 outside of the support channel 46. The second mounting member 50 is spaced apart from the first mounting member 40, and the second bracket 32 is mounted to the first side S1 of the cabinet 26 at a second position P2 via the second mounting member 50.
Preferably, the side wall 38 of the first bracket 28 has a first feature 54 and the side wall 48 of the second bracket 32 has a second feature 56. Wherein the first feature 54 is a protrusion and the second feature 56 is a spring arm. In an embodiment not shown, the first feature 54 can also be an elastic arm, and the second feature 56 can be a protrusion, which can be implemented without limitation. That is, when the first feature 54 is provided with one of a protrusion and a resilient arm, the second feature 56 may be provided with the other of the protrusion and the resilient arm. Thereby, when the second bracket 32 is mounted to the first bracket 28, it can elastically pass over the protrusion by the elastic arm.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 4, the first support section 42 and the second support section 44 are located at the second side edge L2 of the side wall 38 of the first bracket 28, the side wall 38 of the first bracket 28 has a lower portion 58 and an upper portion 60, the first support section 42 is located adjacent to the lower portion 58, and the second support section 44 is located adjacent to the upper portion 60.
Preferably, as shown in FIG. 4, the first support section 42 extends substantially perpendicularly from the lower portion 58 and the second support section 44 extends substantially perpendicularly from the upper portion 60.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 4, the first side L1 of the side wall 38 of the first bracket 28 is configured with a carrying portion 62, the carrying portion 62 is substantially located adjacent to the lower portion 58, and the carrying portion 62 extends along a first direction D1, the carrying portion 62 is configured to carry the bottom of the carrier 20, and the side of the carrier 20 can abut against the first side L1 of the side wall 38 of the first bracket 28; on the other hand, the first supporting section 42 and the second supporting section 44 extend along a second direction D2. Wherein the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 are different directions.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 4, the first support section 42 is connected with a first bending section 64, and the second support section 44 is connected with a second bending section 66. Herein, the first bending section 64 is connected to the first supporting section 42 substantially vertically and extends toward the supporting channel 46, and the second bending section 66 is connected to the second supporting section 44 substantially vertically and extends toward the supporting channel 46, for example, but not limited in implementation.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 4, the second bracket 32 includes an upper wall 68a and a lower wall 68b, and the side wall 48 is connected between the upper wall 68a and the lower wall 68b, the lower wall 68b is located corresponding to the first supporting section 42, and the upper wall 68a is located corresponding to the second supporting section 44.
Preferably, as shown in FIG. 4, the first bend 64 and the second bend 66 help to retain the second bracket 32 in the support channel 46.
As shown in fig. 5-7, when the first bracket 28 and the second bracket 32 are unfolded to a first length X1, the first feature 54 and the second feature 56 do not abut against each other. As shown in fig. 8 and 9, the second bracket 28 is movable relative to the first bracket through the support channel 46. When the first bracket 28 and the second bracket 32 are unfolded to a second length X2, the first feature 54 abuts against the second feature 56, so that the adjustment displacement between the first bracket 28 and the second bracket 32 can have a safety limit on the stroke.
Fig. 10 to 12 show an embodiment of a support assembly 200 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, the support assembly 200 differs from the support assembly 22 of the first embodiment generally in that: the support 202 is an additional component connected to the first bracket 204. For example, the supporting frame 202 may be connected to the first bracket 204 by riveting or welding; alternatively, the support 202 may be detachably connected to the first bracket 204 by a snap-fit or screw-fit connection.
The first bracket 204 has a second supporting section 206, and the first supporting section 214 of the supporting frame 202 and the second supporting section 206 together form a supporting channel 207, and the supporting channel 207 is used for supporting the sidewall 226 of the second bracket 220.
The first bracket 204 includes a sidewall 208, and the sidewall 208 has a first side L1 and a second side L2.
As shown in fig. 12, the sidewall 208 of the first bracket 204 has an upper portion 210 and a lower portion 212, and the first support section 214 and the second support section 206 are located at the second side edge L2. Wherein the first support section 214 is located adjacent to the lower portion 212 and the second support section 206 is located adjacent to the upper portion 210. The carrier 216 is disposed on the first side L1 and extends along the first direction D1; on the other hand, the first support section 214 and the second support section 206 extend along the second direction D2. Fig. 13 to 15 show an implementation of a support assembly 300 according to a third embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, the support assembly 300 differs from the support assembly 22 of the first embodiment substantially in that: the support bracket 302 is an additional component connected to the first bracket 304. For example, the supporting frame 302 can be connected to the first bracket 304 by riveting or welding; alternatively, the support bracket 302 may be removably coupled to the first bracket 304 by a snap-fit or screw-fit connection.
The supporting frame 302 has a second supporting section 306, a middle wall 308 is connected between the first supporting section 310 and the second supporting section 306, the first supporting section 310 is connected with a first bending section 312, and the second supporting section 306 is connected with a second bending section 314.
The first support section 310, the second support section 306 and the middle wall 308 define a support channel 316, and the support channel 316 is used for supporting a second bracket 318.
Wherein the first feature 320 of the first bracket 304 is mated with the second feature 322 of the second bracket 318 through an aperture 321 in the middle wall 308 of the support bracket 302. the first bracket is provided with a first side edge and a second side edge, the first side edge is provided with a bearing part, and the first supporting section is positioned at the second side edge;
wherein the second side and the first side are opposite sides;
the bearing part extends along a first direction, the bearing part is used for bearing the bottom of a bearing object, and the first supporting section extends along a second direction, wherein the first direction and the second direction are different directions.
