泵送空间通过减压阀20联接到存储区域16。替代地或另外地,泄漏回收装置可以包括将泵送空间和存储区域16联接的止回阀。
在润滑脂泵的压力冲程中,减压阀处于压力下,使得设置在存储区域16中的泄漏脂不能通过减压阀逸出。一旦润滑脂泵从吸入冲程开始,泵送空间就会被释放压力。由此,活塞38通过螺旋弹簧移动,使得设置在存储区域16中的泄漏脂通过减压阀移位到泵送空间中。这可能发生,因为存储区域16通过孔连接到减压阀的端部。以这种方式泵送回到泵送空间中的泄漏脂随后被泵送通过出口14。
润滑脂泵可以是挖掘机的中央润滑系统的泵。
