Abstract
An absorbent article provided with a pair of flaps that overlap each other on the non-skin surface side of an undergarment when attached to the undergarment is compatible with retention of liquid absorbency and a joining force between the pair of flaps. An absorbent article (1) is provided with: a main body (2) having an absorber (30); a first fin (41) and a second fin (42) extending from the main body to the outside (W) in the width direction; a skin surface sheet (10) provided on the skin surface side of the first and second flaps; a tear-inducing portion (80) provided to the first flap; and a second flap engagement portion (62) provided on the undergarment side of the second flap. The skin surface sheet on the skin surface side of the first flap has a high-density region H having a density higher than that of the skin surface sheet at the Center (CE) in the width direction of the main body. The high-density region (H) is provided in a region located further to the outside in the width direction than the tear-inducing portion of the first panel, and has a region wider than the region of the second panel joint portion.

The inventors of the present application have found the following problems with the absorbent article described in patent document 1. In the absorbent article described in patent document 1, one skin surface sheet provided on the side closest to the skin surface of the absorbent article covers both the absorber and the pair of flaps. Here, from the viewpoint of improving the joining force between the pair of flaps by the fastening member, the density of the skin surface sheet on the skin surface side of the flaps is preferably relatively high. On the other hand, from the viewpoint of allowing the absorbent body to efficiently absorb liquid such as body fluid, the density of the skin sheet covering the absorbent body is preferably relatively low.
However, in the absorbent article described in patent document 1, it is difficult to achieve both the liquid absorption property and the joining force between the pair of flaps. Therefore, in an absorbent article including a pair of flaps that overlap each other on the non-skin surface side of an undergarment in a state of being attached to the undergarment, it is desirable to achieve both liquid absorbency and joining force between the pair of flaps.
An absorbent article according to one aspect includes: a front-back direction; a width direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction; a body portion having an absorber; a pair of first and second wing pieces that extend outward in the width direction from the main body and overlap each other on a non-skin surface side of the undergarment when attached to the undergarment; a skin surface sheet provided on the skin surface side of the body portion, the first wing panel, and the second wing panel; a tear-inducing portion provided to the first flap and extending in the front-rear direction; and a second flap engagement portion disposed on an undergarment side of the second flap; in the absorbent article, the skin surface sheet on the skin surface side of the first flap has a high-density region having a density higher than that of the skin surface sheet at the center of the main body in the width direction in a region overlapping with the pair of flaps in the width direction, and the high-density region is provided in a region outside the tear-inducing portion of the first flap in the width direction and has a region wider than a region of the second flap joint portion.

At least the following matters will be made clear from the description of the present specification and the drawings.
An absorbent article according to one aspect includes: a front-back direction; a width direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction; a body portion having an absorber; a pair of first and second wing pieces that extend outward in the width direction from the main body and overlap each other on a non-skin surface side of the undergarment when attached to the undergarment; a skin surface sheet provided on the skin surface side of the body portion, the first wing panel, and the second wing panel; a tear-inducing portion provided to the first flap and extending in the front-rear direction; and a second flap engagement portion disposed on an undergarment side of the second flap; in the absorbent article, the skin surface sheet on the skin surface side of the first flap has a high-density region having a density higher than that of the skin surface sheet at the center of the main body in the width direction in a region overlapping with the pair of flaps in the width direction, and the high-density region is provided in a region outside the tear-inducing portion of the first flap in the width direction and has a region wider than a region of the second flap joint portion.
In the absorbent article according to the present embodiment, the first flap and the second flap overlap each other on the non-skin surface side of the undergarment in a state of being attached to the undergarment. By the user strongly pulling the absorbent article after the use of the absorbent article, the first flap is separated from the main body via the tear inducing portion. Thereby, the absorbent article can be easily torn off from the undergarment.
The skin surface sheet on the skin surface side of the first flap has a high-density region having a density higher than that of the skin surface sheet at the center of the main body in the width direction in the region overlapping the pair of flaps in the width direction. The high density region has a wider area than an area of the second flap engagement portion. By joining the second flap joining part of the second flap to the high-density region of the skin surface sheet having a relatively high density, the joining force of the first flap and the second flap can be improved.
On the other hand, since the density of the skin sheet at the center in the width direction of the main body in the region overlapping with the pair of flaps in the width direction is lower than the density of the high-density region, liquid such as body fluid easily passes through the skin sheet and passes through the absorbent body.
Therefore, the absorbent article according to the present embodiment can achieve both retention of liquid absorbency and joining force between the pair of flaps.
According to a preferred aspect, the second flap bonding section is formed of an adhesive, and the smoothness of the high-density region is higher than the smoothness of the skin surface sheet at the center in the width direction of the main body section in a region overlapping with the pair of flaps in the width direction.
The adhesive bonds easily to the smooth sheet. Therefore, by making the smoothness of the high-density region relatively high, the joining force between the pair of flaps can be further improved.
According to a preferred mode, the skin sheet includes a nonwoven fabric provided at the position of the body portion and paper constituting the high-density region.
Since the skin sheet at the position of the body portion is a nonwoven fabric, it is possible to make liquid such as body liquid easily pass through the absorbent body. In addition, the paper is easily bonded with the adhesive. Therefore, the high-density region is formed of paper, and the joining force between the pair of flaps can be improved.
According to a preferred mode, the surface of the high-density region is subjected to a mold release treatment. When the user cannot connect the pair of flaps to the non-skin surface side of the underwear with good appearance, the pair of flaps may be connected again. Here, even if the adhesive adhering to the surface of the skin sheet subjected to the mold release treatment is peeled off, the adhesive force of the adhesive is not easily reduced. Thus, even if the user re-engages the pair of flaps with each other, the pair of flaps can be firmly engaged with each other.
According to a preferred mode, the first flap has a first flap engagement portion arranged on the undergarment side, the first flap engagement portion being provided only in the region where the high-density region is located.
Since the first flap joint portion is provided only in the region where the high-density region having relatively high rigidity is located, the strength of the portion where the first flap is joined to the second flap can be increased. Thus, since the shape of the region of the first flap engagement portion of the first flap can be stably maintained, the first flap engagement portion can be prevented from sticking to an undesired portion, and the first flap engagement portion can be easily and accurately attached to the second flap or undergarment.
According to a preferred mode, the tear-inducing portion passes through a region where the high-density region is provided.
For example, when opening a packaged absorbent article or when attaching the absorbent article, a user may accidentally separate the tab through the tear inducing portion by pulling the tab by mistake. In the present embodiment, the tear inducing portion passes through the region where the high density region is provided. Therefore, the flaps are less likely to be separated via the tear-inducing portions under a sufficiently weaker force than the force for detaching the absorbent article from the undergarment. Thus, the tab can be suppressed from being accidentally torn via the tear-inducing portion.
(2) Structure of absorbent article
An absorbent article 1 according to an embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 3. In addition, in the following description of the drawings, the same or similar reference numerals are given to the same or similar parts. However, it should be noted that the drawings are schematic, and the proportions and the like of the respective dimensions are different from the actual case. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined in consideration of the following description. In addition, the drawings may include portions having different dimensional relationships and proportions from each other.
Fig. 1 is an expanded plan view of an absorbent article 1 according to a first embodiment. Fig. 2 is a developed plan view of the absorbent article viewed from the opposite side of fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken along line a-a of fig. 1. The developed plan view shown in fig. 1 is a view of a developed state in which the flaps 4 of the absorbent article are developed (not folded back). The absorbent article 1 is assumed to be any absorbent article such as a pantiliner (menstrual sheet), a sanitary napkin, or an incontinence pad. In the present embodiment, a description will be given of a case where a sanitary napkin is used as the absorbent article 1. The sanitary napkin of the present embodiment is a sanitary napkin for daily use, but may be a sanitary napkin for night use.
The absorbent article 1 has a front-back direction L, a width direction W orthogonal to the front-back direction L, and a thickness direction T. The thickness direction T has a skin facing surface side (skin surface side) T1 and a non-skin facing surface side (non-skin surface side) T2 as the opposite side. The front-back direction corresponds to a direction along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article. The width direction corresponds to a direction along a line connecting the centers of the pair of fins in the front-rear direction.
The absorbent article 1 includes at least an absorber 30, a skin sheet 10 positioned on the skin-facing surface side of the absorber 30, and a non-skin sheet 20 positioned on the non-skin-facing surface side of the absorber 30.
The skin panel 10 has a top sheet 11 and side sheets 12. The top sheet 11 covers the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 30. The side sheet 12 covers the outer edge of the top sheet 11 in the width direction and extends outward in the width direction than the top sheet 11. The skin-facing sheet 10 may be a sheet used in a general absorbent article, and for example, a sheet containing fibers, an apertured film, or the like may be used. Nonwoven fabrics and papers can be used as the sheet containing the fibers.
The non-skin top sheet 20 is a liquid impermeable sheet. The non-skin surface sheet 20 covers at least the non-skin facing surface side of the absorber 30. The non-skin-facing sheet 20 may be a sheet used in a general absorbent article, and for example, a non-air-permeable or air-permeable film, a nonwoven fabric, or the like may be used.
The absorbent body 30 includes an absorbent core having absorbent material such as pulp or SAP and a core wrap sheet covering the absorbent core. As the absorbent body, those used in ordinary absorbent articles can be used. For example, the absorbent core may use hydrophilic fibers, high molecular water-absorbent polymers, or a combination thereof. For example, tissue or nonwoven fabric may be used as the core wrap sheet.
The absorbent article 1 has a body portion 2 and flaps 4. The main body 2 is located at the center of the absorbent article 1 in the width direction W and extends in the front-rear direction L. The flap 4 includes a first flap 41 and a second flap 42. The fins 4 protrude outward in the width direction W from the main body 2. Specifically, the base end portions 41BE, 42BE of the fins adjacent to each other in the front-rear direction of the fin 4 are defined by regions extending outward in the width direction W than the base end portions 41BE, 42BE of the fins.
In the present specification, the base end portions 41BE, 42BE of the fins are portions located on the most inner side in the width direction of the fins, and are portions intersecting the main body 2. When the flaps are folded back toward the non-skin-facing side of the undergarment, the flaps are easily bent along a line connecting the base end portions of the flaps adjacent to each other in the front-rear direction L.
The body portion 2 includes a top sheet 11, side sheets 12, a non-skin-facing sheet 20, and an absorber 30. The flap 4 has side panels 12 and a non-skin facing sheet 20. The center 4LC in the front-rear direction of the flap 4 is located within the range in the front-rear direction of the excretion portion facing region disposed so as to face the excretion portion of the wearer. The flap 4 is configured to be foldable toward the non-skin surface sheet 20, and is foldable toward the non-skin facing surface of the underwear when attached. The structure of the fin 4 will be described in detail later in the description.
As shown in fig. 2, a joining portion for fixing the absorbent article to the undergarment S is provided on the non-skin-facing surface (undergarment side) of the non-skin-facing surface sheet 20. The joint portion includes a body joint portion 60 disposed on the body portion 2 and fin joint portions 61, 62, 63, 64 disposed on the fin 4. The tab engaging portions 61, 62, 63, 64 include a first tab engaging portion 61, 63 provided to the first tab and a second tab engaging portion 62, 64 provided to the second tab. The first flap engagement portions 61, 63 may include a first outer flap engagement portion 61 and a first inner flap engagement portion 63 located on the inner side in the width direction than the first outer flap engagement portion 61. The second flap engagement portions 62, 64 may have a second outer flap engagement portion 62 and a second inner flap engagement portion 64 located further inward in the width direction than the second outer flap engagement portion 62. These joints may also be made of an adhesive.
The flap 4 has a first flap 41 and a second flap 42. The first flap 41 and the second flap 42 are overlapped with each other in a state of being attached to the undergarment S. Therefore, the total length of the sum of the length in the width direction of the first fin 41 (the length from the base end portion 41BE of the first fin 41 to the outer edge of the first fin 41) and the length in the width direction of the second fin 42 (the length from the base end portion 42BE of the second fin 42 to the outer edge of the second fin 42) may BE longer than the distance between the base end portion 41BE of the first fin 41 and the base end portion 42BE of the second fin 42, and is preferably 1.2 times or more the distance between the base end portion 41BE of the first fin and the base end portion 42BE of the second fin 42. The first flap 41 has a tear-inducing portion 80 extending in the front-rear direction L. The tear-inducing portion 80 is configured to facilitate tearing of the flap by the wearer. Specifically, the tear inducing portion 80 is composed of a sewing needle hole, a concave portion recessed rearward from the front end edge of the flap, a weak portion of a material having lower strength than the periphery, or a combination thereof. The sewing needle hole has an opening penetrating the side sheet 12 and the non-skin surface sheet 20 constituting the first flap 41. The "leading edge" of the tab is an outer edge 41FE extending outward in the width direction from the base end portion 41BE on the leading side of the tab, among the outer edges of the tab. In addition, the fragile portion may be exemplified by: a portion where the weight per unit area of the material constituting the first fin 41 is reduced by widening the material; a portion having a lower strength than the surrounding portion by providing the non-skin surface sheet 20 with no opening and providing the skin surface sheet 10 with an opening; the strength of the material is reduced by the embossing process using heat and pressure.
The leading edge of the tear-inducing portion 80 may coincide with the leading edge of the first flap 41. When the distance between the leading edge of the tear-inducing portion 80 and the leading edge of the first flap 41 is 4mm or less, the first flap 41 can be easily separated via the tear-inducing portion 80. The tear-inducing portion 80 may extend from one end to the other end of the first flap 41 in the front-rear direction L.
The first flap 41 is configured to be able to be broken along the tear-inducing portion 80 by applying a force. Accordingly, by pulling the absorbent article attached to the undergarment, one of the first flap 41 and the second flap 42 (the first flap 41) joined to each other is cut off from the main body 2, and therefore, the absorbent article 1 is easily detached from the undergarment.
The first outer flap engagement portion 61 may be located further outward in the width direction W than the tear-inducing portion 80. The first inner flap engagement portion 63 may be located further inward in the width direction W than the tear-inducing portion 80.
In this absorbent article, even if the outer side portion in the width direction W of the first flap 41 is accidentally separated via the tear-inducing portion 80 before use, the first inner flap joint portion 63 remains in the remaining portion of the first flap remaining on the main body portion 2 side. Thus, the first inner flap engagement portion 63 can be attached to the undergarment. Therefore, even if the side portion in the width direction W of the first flap 41 is accidentally torn via the tear-inducing portion 80, the user can use the absorbent article 1 while attaching it to underwear.
Further, when the tear-inducing portion 80 is sandwiched between the first inner panel joint portion 63 and the first outer panel joint portion 61, the area of the tear-inducing portion 80 of the first panel 41 is inhibited from floating from the undergarment during wearing of the absorbent article. This can prevent the tear-inducing portion 80 of the first flap 41 from rubbing against the outer garment such as pants. As a result, the first flap can be suppressed from being accidentally torn via the tear-inducing portion 80 during wearing of the absorbent article.
In the unfolded state of the first fin 41 and the second fin 42, the distance between the base end portion 41BE of the first fin 41 and the base end portion 42BE of the second fin 42 may BE longer than the sum of the distance between the base end portion 41BE of the first fin and the tear-inducing portion and the distance D14 between the outer edge of the second outer-fin joint portion 62 and the base end portion 42BE of the second fin 42. Thus, in a first attached state, which will BE described later, in which the base end portions 41BE, 42BE of the first flap 41 and the second flap 42 are folded to the non-skin surface side, the second outside flap engagement portion 62 and the tear-inducing portion 80 are inevitably separated in the width direction W. Since the second outer flap joining portion 62 does not overlap the tear-inducing portion 80, the first flap 41 is easily torn via the tear-inducing portion 80 and smoothly separated from the main body 2 when the absorbent article is removed from the undergarment.
(3) Method of attaching and detaching absorbent article
Fig. 4 to 7 show a state in which the absorbent article is attached to underwear. Fig. 4 and 5 show a first attached state in which the first flap 41 is disposed on the inner side in the thickness direction T of the second flap 42 and the absorbent article 1 is attached to the undergarment S. Fig. 6 and 7 show a second attached state in which the first flap 41 is disposed on the outer side in the thickness direction T of the second flap 42 and the absorbent article 1 is attached to underwear. Fig. 8 is a view schematically showing a detaching mode in the second attachment state. Fig. 8(a) is a plan view of the absorbent article 1 attached to the undergarment S, as viewed from the skin surface side. Fig. 8(B) is a plan view of the absorbent article 1 attached to the undergarment S, as viewed from the non-skin surface side.
As shown in fig. 4 to 7, 8(a) and 8(B), in a state where the absorbent article 1 is attached to the undergarment S, the main body portion 2 is joined to the skin-facing surface side of the undergarment S, and the pair of flaps 4 are joined to the non-skin-facing surface side of the undergarment. More specifically, in the first attached state, the first flap 41 and the undergarment S are joined together via the first outer flap joining part 61, and the first flap 41 and the second flap 42 are joined together via the second outer flap joining part 62 (see fig. 4 and 5). In the second attached state, the second flap 42 and the undergarment S are joined together via the second outer flap joining portion 62, and the first flap 41 and the second flap 42 are joined together via the first outer flap joining portion 61 (see fig. 6 and 7).
When the absorbent article 1 is removed, the wearer generally holds the front end edge of the main body 2 and pulls the front end edge of the main body 2 in a direction to separate from the undergarment (see fig. 8C). Since the pair of flaps 4 are joined to each other on the non-skin-facing side of the undergarment, when the main body 2 is detached from the undergarment, a tearing force is applied between the main body 2 and the flaps 4 while remaining joined to the undergarment. The force applied to the flap 4 is likely to strongly act on the front side held by the wearer. Thereby, the first flap 41 is torn through the tear-inducing portion 80 (see fig. 8C and 8D). When the wearer further pulls the main body 2, the first flap 41 is separated into two pieces in the front-rear direction L as shown in fig. 8(E) and 8 (F).
In the first attached state, when the first fin 41 is separated into two, a part of the base end portion side of the first fin 41 becomes a state of being connected to the main body portion 2. On the other hand, the outer side portion in the width direction W of the first flap 41 is connected to the second flap 42 via the second outer-side flap joint portion 62. When the wearer further pulls the absorbent article, the first outer side flap engagement section 61 is separated from the undergarment, and the body engagement section 60 is separated from the undergarment, and the entire absorbent article is detached from the undergarment.
In addition, in the second attached state, when the first fin 41 is separated into two, a part of the base end portion side of the first fin 41 becomes a state of being connected to the main body portion 2. The outer portion of the first fin 41 in the width direction W is connected to the second fin 42 via the first outer fin joint 61 (see fig. 8F). When the wearer further pulls the absorbent article, the second outside flap engagement portion 62 is separated from the undergarment, and the body engagement portion 60 is separated from the undergarment, and the entire absorbent article is detached. By connecting the first fin 41 separated from the body portion to the second fin 42 via the first outer fin engaging portion 61, the first fin can be prevented from falling onto a floor or the like.
(4) Weight and smoothness of skin sheet
The skin sheet 10 has a high density region H in the region of the first flap 41, the density of the high density region H being higher than the density of the skin sheet 10 at the center CE in the width direction W of the main body 2 in the region overlapping with the pair of flaps 41, 42 in the width direction W. The high-density region H is provided in a region outside the tear-inducing portion 80 of the first flap 41 in the width direction W, and has a region wider than at least a region of the second outer flap-joining portion 62.
In the present embodiment, the density of the side sheet 12 is higher than that of the top sheet 11. That is, the side sheet 12 constitutes the high density region H.
By joining the second outer side flap joining parts 62 of the second flaps 42 to the high density regions H of the skin panel 10 having a relatively high density (first attached state), the joining force of the first flaps 41 and the second flaps 42 can be increased.
On the other hand, since the density of the skin sheet 10 (top sheet 11) at the center CE of the main body 2 in the width direction W in the region overlapping the pair of flaps 41 and 42 in the width direction W is lower than the density of the skin sheet 10 (side sheet 12) in the high density region H, it is possible to easily pass a liquid such as a bodily fluid through the skin sheet 10 (top sheet 11) and to pass the liquid to the absorbent body.
Therefore, according to the absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment, the retention of the liquid absorbency and the joining force between the pair of flaps 41 and 42 can be achieved at the same time.
In the present embodiment, the skin sheet 10 also has a high-density region having a density higher than the density of the skin sheet 10 at the center CE in the width direction W of the main body 2 in the region of the second flaps 42. The high-density region H, i.e., the region of the side sheet 12, is provided over the entire second flap 42, and has a region wider than the region of the first outer flap joint portion 61. Accordingly, in the first attached state, the joining force of the first fin 41 and the second fin 42 can be increased.
The first outer-side flap joining section 61 and/or the second outer-side flap joining section 62 may be formed of an adhesive. In this case, the smoothness of the skin sheet 10 of the high-density region H is preferably higher than the smoothness of the skin sheet 10 of the center CE in the width direction W of the main body 2 in the region overlapping with the pair of flaps in the width direction W. Since the adhesive agent is easily joined to the smooth sheet, the joining force between the pair of flaps 41 and 42 can be further increased by making the smoothness of the high-density region H relatively high.
In the present specification, the smoothness of the sheet surface was measured as follows. First, a sheet to be measured was cut into a sheet having a length of 100mm and a width of 50 mm. The sheet was placed on A measuring table of an automated surface tester (カト - テック Co./KES-FB 4-AUTO-A) and fixed by A weight so as not to be bent. Then, the smoothness of the sheet was measured by the automated surface tester, and the obtained value was used as an index of the smoothness. Although there is no particular limitation on the moving direction of the measurement terminal, the angle with respect to the MD direction of the sheet to be measured (the machine direction when the sheet is manufactured) is set to be constant for each sheet to be measured. For example, the moving direction of the measurement terminal may coincide with the MD direction or the CD direction of the sheet.
Preferably, the first tab engaging portions 61, 63 are provided only in the areas where the high density areas H of the first tab 41 are located. Since the first fin joining portions 61, 63 are provided only in the region where the high density region H having relatively high rigidity is located, the strength of the portion where the first fin 41 and the second fin 42 are joined to each other can be increased. Thus, since the shape of the region of the first flap engagement portion 61, 63 of the first flap 41 can be stably maintained, the first flap engagement portion 61, 63 can be prevented from sticking to an undesired portion, and the first flap engagement portion 61, 63 can be easily and accurately attached to the second flap 42 or underwear.
Also, preferably, the second fin engaging portions 62, 64 are provided only in the areas where the high density regions H of the second fin 42 are located.
Preferably, the tear-inducing portion 80 passes through the region where the high-density region H is disposed. For example, when opening the packaged absorbent article 1 or when attaching the absorbent article 1, the user may accidentally pull the flaps 41 and 42, and the first flap 41 may be unintentionally separated from the tear-inducing portion 80. In the present embodiment, the tear-inducing portion 80 passes through the region where the high-density region H is provided. Therefore, the first flap 41 is difficult to separate via the tear-inducing portion 80 under a sufficiently weak force compared to the force for detaching the absorbent article 1 from the undergarment. Thus, the first flap 41 can be suppressed from being accidentally torn via the tear-inducing portion 80.
(5) Second embodiment
Next, an absorbent article according to a second embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 9 and 10. In the description of the second embodiment, the same components as those of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted.
Fig. 9 is an expanded plan view of the absorbent article in the second embodiment. Fig. 10 is a sectional view of the absorbent article taken along line a-a of fig. 9.
In the second embodiment, the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 30 is covered with the skin-facing surface sheet 10 made of the top sheet 11. The top sheet 11 extends from the body 2 to the first and second flaps 41 and 42.
The top sheet 11 has a high density region H in the region of the first flap 41, which has a density higher than that of the top sheet 11 at the center CE in the width direction W of the main body portion 2 in the region overlapping with the pair of flaps 41, 42 in the width direction W. The high-density region H is provided in a region outside the tear-inducing portion 80 of the first flap 41 in the width direction W, and has a region wider than at least a region of the second outer flap-joining portion 62.
In the present embodiment, the high-density region H is constituted by the embossments 15 applied to the topsheet 11. That is, the high-density region H is a region in which the density of the topsheet 11 is increased by the plurality of embossments 15. In this way, by increasing the density of the topsheet 11 at the portion where the second outer side flap joining part 62 is attached, the joining force of the first flap 41 and the second flap 42 can be increased. On the other hand, since the density of the top sheet 11 at the center CE in the width direction W of the main body 2 in the region overlapping the pair of flaps 41, 42 in the width direction W is lower than the density of the high density region H, liquid such as body fluid is easily passed through the top sheet 11 to the absorbent body.
In addition, it is preferable that the top sheet 11 also has a high density region H (region to which the embossments 15 are applied) having a density higher than that of the center CE of the main body 2 in the width direction W in the region of the second flap 42.
(6) Third embodiment
Next, an absorbent article according to a third embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 11 and 12. In the description of the third embodiment, the same components as those of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted.
Fig. 11 is an expanded plan view of the absorbent article of the third embodiment. Fig. 12 is a sectional view of the absorbent article taken along line a-a of fig. 11.
In the third embodiment, the skin sheet 10 includes at least the nonwoven fabric (top sheet) 11 provided at the position of the main body portion 2 and the paper 13 constituting the high-density region H. That is, the density of the paper 13 is higher than that of the nonwoven fabric (top sheet) 11. The paper 13 is disposed on the first flap 41. The nonwoven fabric (top sheet) 11 is exposed to the skin-facing surface side at the center CE in the width direction of the main body 2.
More specifically, the skin-facing sheet 10 has a top sheet 11, side sheets 12, and paper 13. The side sheet 12 covers the outer edge of the top sheet 11 in the width direction and the inner edge of the paper 13 in the width direction.
The paper 13 constituting the high density region H is provided in a region outside the tear inducing portion 80 of the first flap 41 in the width direction W, and has a region wider than at least a region of the second outside flap joint portion 62. In this way, by increasing the density of the skin sheet (paper 13) at the portion where the second outside flap-joining portion 62 is attached, the joining force of the first flap 41 and the second flap 42 can be increased. On the other hand, since the density of the top sheet 11 at the center CE of the main body 2 in the width direction W in the region overlapping the pair of flaps 41, 42 in the width direction W is lower than the density of the high density region H, liquid such as body fluid is easily passed through the top sheet 11 to the absorbent body.
In the third embodiment, since the skin surface sheet (top sheet 11) at the position of the body section 2 is a nonwoven fabric, liquid such as body liquid can easily pass through to the absorbent body. In addition, the paper 13 is easily joined with the adhesive. By the high density region H being constituted by the paper 13, the joining force of the pair of flaps 41, 42 to each other can be improved.
In addition, it is preferable that the paper 13 having a density higher than that of the center CE of the main body portion 2 in the width direction W is also provided in the region of the second flap 42.
Preferably, the first outer side flap engagement portion 61 and/or the second outer side flap engagement portion 62 are formed of an adhesive. Since the adhesive is more easily bonded to the paper than the nonwoven fabric, the bonding force between the pair of flaps 41, 42 can be improved.
Further, the surface of the high-density region H, that is, the surface of the sheet 13 on the skin-facing surface side provided on the flaps 41 and 42, is preferably subjected to a mold release treatment. That is, the release treated layer 14 may be provided on the surface of the paper 13. The release treatment layer 14 may be, for example, a silica gel coating layer applied to the surface of the paper 13.
When the user cannot join the pair of flaps 41 and 42 to the non-skin-facing side of the undergarment beautifully, the pair of flaps 41 and 42 may be joined again. Here, even if the adhesive adhering to the surface of the release-treated paper 13 is peeled off, the adhesive force of the adhesive is not easily reduced. Thus, even if the user re-engages the pair of flaps 41, 42 with each other, the pair of flaps 41, 42 can be firmly engaged with each other.
Preferably, the first outer-side flap engagement portion 61 and/or the second outer-side flap engagement portion 63 are provided only in the high-density region H, that is, only in the region where the sheet 13 is located. Further, it is preferable that the tear-inducing portion 80 passes through the high-density region H, that is, the region where the paper 13 is provided.

Various alternative embodiments, examples, and operational techniques will be apparent to those skilled in the art in light of this disclosure. Therefore, the technical scope of the present invention is determined only by the specific matters of the invention according to the appropriate claims from the above description,
for example, the features described in the first to third embodiments include mutual substitution or combination.

Industrial applicability of the invention
According to the absorbent article of the above aspect, both the liquid absorbency and the joining force between the pair of flaps can be satisfied.

Claims (6)
1. An absorbent article having:
a front-back direction;
a width direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction;
a body portion having an absorber;
a pair of first and second wing pieces that extend outward in the width direction from the main body and overlap each other on a non-skin surface side of the undergarment when attached to the undergarment;
a skin surface sheet provided on the skin surface side of the body portion, the first wing panel, and the second wing panel;
a tear-inducing portion provided to the first flap and extending in the front-rear direction; and
a second flap engagement portion disposed on an undergarment side of the second flap; wherein,
the skin surface piece on the skin surface side of the first flap has a high density region having a density higher than that of the skin surface piece at the center of the main body in the width direction in a region overlapping the pair of first flap and second flap in the width direction,
the high-density region is provided in a region located further outside than the tear-inducing portion of the first flap in the width direction, and has a region wider than a region of the second flap joint portion,
the skin surface sheet has a side sheet having a higher density than the top sheet and constituting the high density region, and a top sheet provided over the entire length of the body portion.
2. The absorbent article of claim 1, wherein the second flap engagement portion is comprised of an adhesive,
the high-density region has higher smoothness than the skin surface sheet at the center in the width direction of the main body in a region overlapping with the pair of first and second flaps in the width direction.
3. The absorbent article according to claim 2, wherein the skin-facing sheet comprises a nonwoven fabric provided at the position of the body portion and paper constituting the high-density region.
4. The absorbent article according to claim 2 or 3, wherein the surface of the high-density region is subjected to a mold release treatment.
5. The absorbent article of claim 4, the first flap having a first flap engagement portion disposed on an undergarment side,
the first tab engagement portion is provided only in the area where the high density region is located.
6. The absorbent article according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the tear-inducing portion passes through a region where the high-density region is provided.
