Detailed Description
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in further detail below.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart illustrating steps of an embodiment of a character input method based on a game pad according to the present invention is shown, which may specifically include the following steps:
The embodiment of the invention can be realized based on an Analog Stick (also called Analog Stick), and Analog quantity is input as the name suggests. The input of the direction key (rocker or cross key) on the traditional game handle is only a simple direction, which is equivalent to that the positive and negative of the XY axis are not quantized. The input of the analog rocker is a vector signal of XY axes, which can contain various information such as direction, force and the like. Of course, besides the analog joystick, other game pads capable of inputting analog quantity are also possible, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this.
It should be noted that the embodiment of the present invention can be applied to input characters and symbols of various languages, such as japanese, korean, english, or punctuation marks, as long as the characters and symbols can be input into the electronic device by the method.
After the operation of inputting characters based on the game handle is activated, a user can shake a rocker on the game handle in a writing simulating mode and generate writing operation, and the game handle recognizes the writing operation to form a dot matrix.
In the writing process of a user, strokes at different positions can be overlapped together, and the writing recognition system can automatically analyze the strokes according to the time sequence through the input time of the strokes, so that the user can continuously write a certain number of fonts without stopping, and the specific number of the writable fonts depends on a recognition algorithm. Referring to fig. 2, the process of inputting "one day" by the user in a simulated writing mode is schematically shown, and the user can continuously write two characters without pause.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the step 101 may include the following sub-steps:
recording coordinate data of the writing operation and corresponding input time;
and forming a track by adopting the coordinate data according to the input time.
In the specific implementation, the joystick records coordinate data of an XY axis of a rocker corresponding to writing operation and corresponding input time in real time, and then arranges the coordinate data and the input time in a dot matrix manner to form a track (dot matrix diagram). The XY-axis coordinate data may be determined according to the analog quantity resolution and the sampling mode of the joystick, and the analysis mode of the XY-axis coordinate data may be determined according to a specific writing recognition algorithm.
Preferably, in the embodiment of the present invention, the track may be displayed in real time, that is, in the process of inputting by the user, the track input by the joystick may be displayed graphically on the screen of the electronic device in real time, so as to feed back the writing operation of the user.
And 102, analyzing the track to obtain a stroke sequence.
In the writing process of the user, the stroke direction sequence is obtained by continuously analyzing the strokes in the track. Wherein the strokes in the stroke sequence contain information such as direction and input time.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, after obtaining the stroke sequence in step 102, the following steps may be further included:
step S11, determining the analysis weight of each stroke in the stroke sequence;
step S12, identifying an invalid stroke from the stroke sequence according to the analysis weight.
In the embodiment of the invention, the strokes are automatically analyzed according to the time sequence through the input time of the strokes, and different strokes have different analysis weights.
During handwriting recognition, there are no absolute invalid strokes, so each stroke has a different analysis weight in different situations, and the lower the analysis weight, the less the handwriting recognition system will include it in the analysis during recognition, e.g., when the analysis weight of a stroke is below a certain threshold, it can be considered as an invalid stroke and eliminated. Of course, the specific determination probability differs depending on the algorithm.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the step S11 of determining the analysis weight of each stroke in the stroke direction sequence may include the following sub-steps:
judging whether the appointed operation of the user on a rocker on a game handle is detected before the user writes the strokes in the stroke sequence;
and if the appointed operation of the user on a rocker on the gamepad is detected, increasing the analysis weight of the strokes.
When the analog rocker capable of being clicked is used for writing, the rocker is pressed for the duration of stroke input each time, or the rocker is clicked before the stroke input each time, so that the specified operation can be detected, the analysis weight of the stroke can be increased, and the matching accuracy can be improved. The mode can simulate the action of lifting the pen during ordinary writing, and the rocker can simulate more natural writing. Referring to fig. 2, for example, in writing "one day", before writing each stroke, the user may click the joystick first, simulate a pen-lifting action during writing, and may regard that a specified operation is detected, and add an analysis weight of a subsequently written stroke.
In another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the step S11 of determining the analysis weight of each stroke in the stroke direction sequence may include the following sub-steps:
and when the time for the joystick on the game handle to return to the original point is detected to reach the preset time, reducing the analysis weight of the last stroke.
When the user stops writing and the rocker returns to the original point to finish inputting, the stroke analysis weight of the last returning original point is extremely low and is probably an invalid stroke. Referring to FIG. 2, when the user has finished writing for "one day", typically the user will return the joystick to the origin or the joystick itself to the origin, then the last stroke before the origin of the return may be considered an invalid stroke.
In addition to the above-mentioned manner of determining the weight of stroke analysis, the embodiment of the present invention may consider that strokes have different weights in different situations.
Such as different language and character input habits, associations between different strokes, different user operating habits, and whether it is before returning to the origin. Different language character input habits, such as multiple "right-to-left" strokes in Arabic, so the "right-to-left" stroke analysis weight is high.
In Chinese, few strokes of right and left are available, most of the strokes belong to connections among effective strokes, and therefore, the stroke analysis weight is low. Referring to fig. 2, in the fifth drawing of the first row from left to right, the user starts to write the first stroke "one" of "day", and after the writing of "one" is completed, the user needs to move the joystick from the position where the first "one" is completed to the position below the left, specifically, as shown in the sixth drawing of the first row from left to right, the movement operation is "right to left", which is a connection between valid strokes, and therefore, the stroke analysis weight corresponding to the operation is low, and the operation can be regarded as an invalid stroke.
The association between different strokes, such as "bottom right to top left" strokes in Chinese characters, is more likely to be "hook" strokes when following "|" strokes, where the analysis weight is high, and more likely to be connections between valid strokes after other strokes, thus the stroke analysis weight is low.
When the user stops writing, for example, the joystick returns to the original point for 0.2s, the user finishes inputting, and when inputting is finished, the user can continue to use the analog joystick to write, the writing recognition system restarts analyzing strokes, and new strokes are continuously added to the original strokes.
And 103, identifying characters corresponding to the stroke sequence and inputting the characters into the electronic equipment.
In the embodiment of the invention, the track formed by the coordinate data of the XY axes can be denoised by an algorithm and converted into the stroke sequence, and then the stroke sequence is compared with the stroke sequence in the preset word stock to screen out the target stroke sequence.
The characters that can be recognized by the embodiment of the present invention can also recognize various symbols simultaneously in addition to the characters, for example, when a user inputs an "|", the system displays a number "1", a letter "l", a symbol "|", and the like in the matching result, as shown in fig. 3.
After the target stroke sequence is obtained, a corresponding character can be further determined and input into the electronic device. Referring to fig. 4, a trajectory is obtained after writing "M" through a simulated handwriting of a gamepad, points in the trajectory are denoised and converted into a stroke sequence, the stroke sequence simultaneously contains information of 4 directions and lengths, and the direction stroke sequence of characters in a word stock is compared to obtain that the input characters are "M".
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the step 104 may comprise the following sub-steps:
when the stroke sequence is identified to correspond to a plurality of characters, identifying a character combination of the plurality of characters;
displaying the at least one character combination according to a preset rule;
and in response to the selection operation of the user on the game pad, screening out a target character combination from the at least one character combination and inputting the target character combination into the electronic equipment.
Preferably, when a user continuously inputs a plurality of characters, the writing recognition system automatically combines a plurality of possibilities, prioritizes frequently-used and meaningful character combinations in the front of a plurality of results, facilitates selection of the user, and inputs a target character combination into the electronic device when receiving selection operation of the user and screening the target character combination.
Referring to fig. 5, the result of the writing recognition is displayed on the screen of the electronic device, and the user can select one of the possible character combinations as an input through the other direction keys of the game pad. For example, a gamepad with double rockers is used, after handwriting input is performed by using a right rocker, a required result is selected by a left-right direction key of a left rocker, and input is completed after clicking confirmation.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the method may further comprise the steps of:
and responding to the rotation operation of the user on the rocker on the game handle to process the characters.
The user may process the characters for analog handwriting input through other input means of the gamepad, such as back-off or redo. For example, if "good morning" is input using the double-rocker handle, the display result is changed to "good morning" if the left rocker is rotated 90 ° counterclockwise, and the display result is changed to "good morning" if the left rocker is rotated 90 ° clockwise.
The embodiment of the invention responds to at least one writing operation of a user on a rocker on a game handle, recognizes the writing operation to form a track, analyzes the track to obtain a stroke sequence, and recognizes and displays the character corresponding to the stroke sequence. The embodiment of the invention can use the game handle to write, then carry out data recognition and finally display the recognized character, thereby completing the operation of inputting the character to the electronic equipment.
