The invention discloses a surface cleaning head for a steam cleaning machine, which comprises a shell, a rolling brush, a steam pipeline and a plurality of combing ribs, wherein a suction pipeline is arranged in the shell and is provided with an opening positioned on the lower side of the shell; the combing ribs on the cleaning head can clean hair, sundries, scraps and the like wound on the brush body and in the bristle layer, and meanwhile, the sprayed steam can prevent bacteria from breeding in the bristle layer.

Background
In daily life, steam is conveyed to a rolling brush of a surface cleaning head by a steam generating device on the steam cleaning machine, and then is sprayed out of brush bristles of the rolling brush through steam holes on the rolling brush, so that the effects of heating and wetting the brush bristles are achieved, and the cleaning effect is improved.

a roller brush rotatably mounted in said housing and extending at least partially outside said opening, said roller brush comprising a brush bar, a bristle layer overlying said brush bar, said bristle layer being at least partially formed from a flexible, fine fiber material, said bristle layer being adapted to contact a surface to be cleaned and pick up dirt and liquid particles from the surface to be cleaned and deliver them to said opening during rotation of said roller brush;
the driving device is in transmission connection with the brush rod and is used for driving the brush rod to rotate;
the steam pipeline is used for being communicated with a steam source;
the combing ribs are arranged at intervals and are positioned on the outer peripheral side of the rolling brush, each combing rib is provided with a first end part and a second end part, the first end part of each combing rib is fixedly arranged with the inner wall surface of the shell, and the second end part of each combing rib is contacted with the bristle layer; the steam spraying holes communicated with the steam pipeline are formed in the second end parts of the combing ribs, and at least part of steam escaping from the steam spraying holes can be applied to the bristle layer.
In the above technical solution, preferably, at least a portion of the second end of the combing rib extends into the bristle layer. More preferably, the thickness of the bristle layer is 5-30 mm; still more preferably, the length of the combing ribs protruding into the bristle layer is 2 to 20 mm.

The invention is primarily intended for use in steam cleaning machines, such as a steam floor scrubber, a steam cleaner washer, etc., and will be described in more detail with reference to figures 1-5.
Example 1
As shown in fig. 1, the surface cleaning head 100 includes a housing 1, a suction duct 2, a roll brush 4, a driving device 7, and a steam duct 8. The housing 1 has a front side and a rear side, the suction duct 2 is defined between the front side and the rear side of the housing 1, the suction duct 2 has an opening 3 at the lower side of the housing 1, and the suction duct 2 can suck dirty dirt on a floor surface to be cleaned therein by a suction force. In particular, when the present invention is used in a steam cleaning machine, the suction duct 2 is in communication with a suction unit of the steam cleaning machine, and the suction unit generates a suction force to the air flow entering the suction duct 2 from the opening 3, thereby sucking dirt on the floor to be cleaned into the suction duct 2. A rolling brush cavity 13 is formed in the shell 1, the rolling brush 4 is installed in the rolling brush cavity 13, a rolling brush cavity upper cover 14 is installed on the upper portion of the rolling brush cavity 13 of the shell 1, and when the rolling brush cavity upper cover 14 covers the shell 1, the rolling brush cavity 13 forms a closed cavity. The roller brush 4 comprises a brush rod 5, and a bristle layer 6 covering the brush rod 5, wherein the bristle layer 6 is made of flexible superfine fiber materials, such as polyester fiber and the like. The driving device 7 is in transmission connection with the brush rod 5 and is used for driving the brush rod 5 to rotate, the bristle layer 6 extends out of the opening 3 and is in contact with the floor to be cleaned, and therefore the rolling brush 4 picks up dirt and liquid particles on the floor to be cleaned and conveys the dirt and the liquid particles to the opening 3 during the rotation process. The steam pipe 8 is connected to a steam source (not shown) for outputting steam to the outside. Specifically, when the present invention is used in a steam cleaning machine, the steam pipe 8 is connected to a steam generating device of the steam cleaning machine, such as a boiler, etc., and the steam generating device is used to generate steam and output the steam to the outside through the steam pipe 8.
As shown in fig. 2-5, the surface cleaning head includes a plurality of combing ribs 9 mounted within the housing 1 for combing the bristle layers 6. The combing ribs 9 are arranged at intervals and are positioned on the outer peripheral side of the rolling brush 4, and the interval distance between two adjacent combing ribs is preferably smaller than 50 mm. Each combing rib 9 is provided with a first end part and a second end part, a convex strip 12 is fixedly arranged on the inner wall surface of the upper cover 14 of the rolling brush cavity, the first end part of each combing rib 9 is fixed on the convex strip 12, the second end part is contacted with the bristle layer 6 or extends into the bristle layer 6, the thickness of the bristle layer 6 is 5-30mm usually, the length of the corresponding combing rib 9 extending into the bristle layer 6 is 2-20mm, and the thickness of the bristle layer and the specific value of the combing rib length extending into the bristle layer can be selected correspondingly according to the material of bristles. Part of the steam pipeline 8 is laid in the raised strips 12, a steam branch 10 communicated with the steam pipeline 8 is arranged inside each combing rib 9, the steam branch 10 extends from the first end part to the second end part of each combing rib 9, and a steam jet hole 11 communicated with the corresponding steam branch 10 is arranged at the second end part of each combing rib 9, so that at least part of steam escaping from the steam jet holes 11 can be applied to the bristle layer 6, and the function of heating and wetting the bristle layer 6 is achieved.
In other embodiments, steam branches 10 and steam nozzles 11 may be provided only in some of the carding ribs 9, and a plurality of steam branches may be arranged alternately, for example, in two adjacent carding ribs, one of the carding ribs is provided with a steam branch, and the other carding rib is not provided with a steam branch, so that the functions of carding bristles and heating and wetting the bristle layer can also be achieved. In addition, in order to avoid the filth of great volume to get into in the suction duct, prevent to produce the jam in the suction duct, all set up a plurality of carding muscle on the route of opening to suction duct inside.
In conclusion, the plurality of combing ribs are arranged in the shell to comb the bristles, and the steam branches are arranged in the combing ribs, so that the combing ribs can clean hair, sundries, scraps and the like wound on the brush body and in the bristle layer, and meanwhile, the sprayed steam penetrates into the bristle layer, so that bacteria can be prevented from breeding in the bristle layer; steam is sprayed out of the brush hair layer, so that the steam cannot be directly sprayed on the ground, particularly, the damage to a wooden floor is avoided, meanwhile, a user cannot be directly sprayed to the steam, and the safety is greatly improved.

Claims (9)
1. A surface cleaning head for a steam cleaning machine comprising:
-a housing (1) having a front side and a rear side, said housing (1) defining a suction duct (2) between said front and rear sides, said suction duct (2) having an opening (3) at the lower side of said housing, said suction duct (2) being capable of drawing dirt on a floor surface to be cleaned from said opening (3) into said suction duct by means of a suction force;
a roller brush (4) rotatably mounted in said housing (1) and extending at least partially outside said opening (3), said roller brush (4) comprising a brush bar (5), a bristle layer (6) covering said brush bar (5), said bristle layer (6) being at least partially made of a flexible fine fiber material, said bristle layer (6) being adapted to contact a surface to be cleaned and to pick up dirt and liquid particles from the surface to be cleaned and to transport them to said opening (3) during rotation of said roller brush (4);
the driving device (7) is in transmission connection with the brush rod (5) and is used for driving the brush rod (5) to rotate;
a steam conduit (8) for communicating with a steam source, wherein the surface cleaning head further comprises;
the combing ribs (9) are arranged at intervals and are positioned on the outer peripheral side of the rolling brush (4), each combing rib (9) is provided with a first end part and a second end part, the first end part of each combing rib (9) is fixedly arranged with the inner wall surface of the shell (1), and the second end part is contacted with the bristle layer (6); wherein, the inside of at least part of the combing ribs (9) is provided with a steam branch (10) communicated with the steam pipeline (8), the second end part of the combing ribs (9) is provided with steam jet holes (11) communicated with the steam branch (10), and at least part of steam escaping from the steam jet holes (11) can be applied to the bristle layer (6).
2. The surface cleaning head for a steam cleaning machine of claim 1, wherein: at least one part of the second end of the combing rib (9) extends into the bristle layer (6).
3. The surface cleaning head for a steam cleaning machine of claim 2, wherein: the thickness of the brush layer (6) is 5-30 mm.
4. A surface cleaning head for a steam cleaning machine as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that: the length of the combing ribs (9) extending into the bristle layer (6) is 2-20 mm.
5. The surface cleaning head for a steam cleaning machine of claim 1 or 2, characterized in that: each combing rib (9) is internally provided with one steam branch (10).

The surface cleaning head for a steam cleaning machine of claim 1, wherein: a convex strip (12) is fixedly arranged on the inner wall surface of the shell (1), the first end part of each combing rib (9) is fixed on the convex strip (12), at least part of the steam pipeline (8) is positioned in the convex strip (12), and the steam branch (10) extends to the second end part from the first end part of each corresponding combing rib (9).
