The invention discloses a dual-polarized antenna with a planar monopole and a half-slot structure, wherein a monopole radiation oscillator and a metal floor are respectively arranged on the upper surface and the lower surface of a dielectric substrate to jointly form a planar monopole antenna unit; forming a half-slot antenna unit by forming a half-slot on a metal floor; a feed structure unit is formed by the metal connecting part and two feed ports penetrating through the medium substrate and is used for electrically connecting the monopole radiation oscillator and the metal floor; therefore, two different linearly polarized waves at the same frequency are realized through different feeding modes by utilizing the characteristic of orthogonal polarization of the two antenna units. In addition, the planar monopole antenna unit and the half-slot antenna unit have the characteristics of low profile, light weight and easiness in processing, so that the dual-polarized antenna formed by the planar monopole antenna unit and the half-slot antenna unit also has the advantages of simple structure, small size and easiness in processing and manufacturing.

Background
The dual-polarized antenna enables the antenna to radiate polarized waves in different directions through different feeding modes, and is beneficial to realizing effective diversity in transmission, thereby resisting the reduction of communication quality caused by multipath fading and being used as a transmitting antenna or a receiving antenna in an MIMO system.
The existing dual-polarized antenna has low relative radiation polarization purity and low design flexibility.
Disclosure of Invention
The purpose of the invention is as follows: in order to overcome the defects of the prior art, the invention provides the dual-polarized antenna with the planar monopole and the half-slot structure, which has the characteristics of simple structure, low section and light weight, is easy to process and manufacture, and has higher polarization purity and design flexibility.
The technical scheme is as follows: the invention relates to a dual-polarized antenna with a planar monopole and a half-slot structure, which comprises a dielectric substrate, a planar monopole antenna unit, a half-slot antenna unit and a feed structure unit, wherein the dielectric substrate is provided with a plurality of slots; the dielectric substrate is provided with an upper surface and a lower surface which are parallel to each other; the planar monopole antenna unit comprises a metal floor and a monopole radiation oscillator; the metal floor is rectangular and is arranged on one side of the lower surface of the medium substrate; the monopole radiation oscillator is in a strip shape and is arranged on the other side of the upper surface of the medium substrate, and the extension direction of the monopole radiation oscillator vertically equally divides the long edge of the metal floor; a notch is vertically formed in the middle of the long edge of the metal floor, which is positioned in the middle of the lower surface, the notch extends on the metal floor to form a half-slot with one open end and one closed end, and the half-slot is used as the half-slot antenna unit; the feed structure unit comprises a metal connecting part and two feed ports, the metal connecting part is arranged at one end of the monopole radiation oscillator, the two feed ports are respectively connected to two side edges of the gap, and the other ends of the two feed ports vertically penetrate through the dielectric substrate and are respectively connected to two sides of the metal connecting part.
Preferably, the metal floor and the monopole radiation oscillator are arranged in a staggered manner in the thickness direction of the dielectric substrate. Thereby improving the matching performance of the planar monopole antenna element.
Further, the dual-polarized antenna further comprises a feed line, and the two feed ports are electrically connected with the feed line respectively.
When the feed line carries out even-mode feed through the two feed ports, the planar monopole antenna unit works and radiates vertical polarized waves.
When the feed line performs odd-mode feeding through the two feed ports, the half-slot antenna unit operates and radiates a horizontally polarized wave.

In addition, the planar monopole antenna unit and the half-slot antenna unit have the characteristics of low profile, light weight and easiness in processing, so that the dual-polarized antenna formed by the planar monopole antenna unit and the half-slot antenna unit has higher design flexibility and also has the advantages of simple structure, small size and easiness in processing and manufacturing.

Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, the present embodiment discloses a dual-polarized antenna with a planar monopole and half-slot structure, which includes a dielectric substrate 1, a metal floor 2, a monopole radiating element 3, a half-slot 4, a metal connecting portion 5, and two feeding ports 6.
The dielectric substrate 1 is rectangular and has an upper surface and a lower surface parallel to each other, and the antenna unit is formed on the dielectric substrate 1. Referring to the orientation shown in fig. 5, the metal floor 2 at the bottom layer is attached to the right side of the lower surface of the dielectric substrate 1, the monopole radiation oscillator 3 at the top layer is attached to the left side of the upper surface of the dielectric substrate 1, and the metal floor 2 and the monopole radiation oscillator 3 together form a planar monopole antenna unit of the dual-polarized antenna.
Specifically, the metal floor 2 has a rectangular structure, and the length of the long side is about a half wavelength, and the length of the short side is about a quarter wavelength. In this embodiment, one long side of the metal floor 2 is located in the middle of the lower surface of the dielectric substrate 1, and the other long side is flush with one side edge of the lower surface of the dielectric substrate 1. Preferably, the length of the long side of the metal floor 2 is a half wavelength and the length of the short side is a quarter wavelength.
The monopole radiating element 3 is a long strip of metal with a length of about a quarter wavelength. In the present embodiment, the length of the elongated monopole radiation element is preferably a quarter wavelength. The monopole radiation oscillator 3 extends from the other side edge of the upper surface of the dielectric substrate 1 to the middle of the upper surface, and the extending direction of the monopole radiation oscillator vertically equally divides the long edge of the metal floor 2.
A gap is vertically formed in the middle of the long edge of the metal floor 2, which is positioned in the middle of the lower surface of the dielectric substrate 1, the gap extends on the metal floor 2 and forms a half-slot 4 with an opening at one end and a closed end, and the half-slot 4 is used as a half-slot antenna unit of a dual-polarized antenna. Specifically, in this embodiment, the length of the half slot 4 is preferably a quarter of the guided wave length.
The metal connection 5 and the two feed ports 6 constitute a feed structural unit. Wherein, two feed ports 6 are respectively connected to two sides of the metal connecting portion 5, and the other ends of the two feed ports 6 both penetrate through the dielectric substrate 1 and are respectively connected to two side edges of the half slot 4 located on the lower surface of the dielectric substrate 1.
Referring to fig. 5 again, in order to improve the matching performance of the monopole, a section of the monopole radiation oscillator 3 and the part of the metal floor 2 located in the middle area of the dielectric substrate 1 in the thickness direction of the dielectric substrate 1 are overlapped in a staggered manner. That is, one end of the monopole radiation oscillator 3 located at one side of the upper surface extends beyond the edge of the metal floor 2 located at the other side of the lower surface by a length, and then is connected to the metal connection part 5.
And the two feed ports 6 and the metal connecting portions 5 are located at positions relative to the half-slot 4 to change the self-impedance of the half-slot antenna element, so that the matching performance of the half-slot antenna element can also be improved.
Further, the dual-polarized antenna further comprises a feed line, and the two feed ports 6 are electrically connected with the feed line respectively. Specifically, when the feed line performs even mode feeding through the two feed ports 6, the planar monopole antenna unit operates and radiates a vertically polarized wave. When the feed line is fed in odd mode through the two feed ports 6, the half-slot antenna element operates and radiates a horizontally polarized wave.
As shown in fig. 6, in the present embodiment, when the dielectric substrate 1 is designed to have a dielectric constant of 4.4 and a thickness of 1 mm, the return loss of the antenna in two feeding modes is calculated by using HFSS software. Under the odd mode feeding mode, the working frequency of the antenna is 2.4GHz, and the-10 dB impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 24% (2.2GHz-2.8 GHz); in the even mode feed mode, the operating frequency of the antenna is 2.4GHz, and the-10 dB impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 24% (2.2GHz-2.8 GHz). The working frequency of the antenna is consistent with-10 dB impedance bandwidth under the two feeding modes.
As shown in fig. 7, the dual-polarized antenna of the planar monopole and half-slot structure of the present embodiment utilizes the radiation directions of main polarization and cross polarization of xoy plane, xoz plane and yoz plane under the even-mode feeding condition calculated by HFSS software. Where the cross polarization of the xoz plane and the yoz plane is below-30 dB, not shown.
As shown in fig. 8, the dual-polarized antenna of the planar monopole and half-slot structure of the present embodiment utilizes the radiation directions of main polarization and cross polarization of xoy plane, xoz plane and yoz plane under the odd-mode feeding condition calculated by HFSS software. Where the cross polarization of the xoz plane and the yoz plane is below-30 dB, not shown.
The test proves that the dual-polarized antenna with the planar monopole and the half-slot structure has two working modes with different polarizations and the same working frequency, and has excellent performance.

Claims (5)

1. A dual-polarized antenna with a planar monopole and a half-slot structure is characterized by comprising a dielectric substrate (1), a planar monopole antenna unit, a half-slot antenna unit and a feed structure unit;
the dielectric substrate (1) is provided with an upper surface and a lower surface which are parallel to each other;
the planar monopole antenna unit comprises a metal floor (2) and a monopole radiation oscillator (3); the metal floor (2) is rectangular and is arranged on one side of the lower surface of the dielectric substrate (1); the monopole radiation oscillator (3) is in a long strip shape and is arranged on the other side of the upper surface of the dielectric substrate (1), and the extension direction of the monopole radiation oscillator (3) is vertically equally divided into the long sides of the metal floor (2);
a notch is vertically formed in the middle of the long side of the metal floor (2) positioned in the middle of the lower surface, the notch extends on the metal floor (2) to form a half-groove (4) with one open end and one closed end, and the half-groove (4) is used as the half-groove antenna unit;
the feed structure unit comprises a metal connecting part (5) and two feed ports (6), the metal connecting part (5) is arranged at one end of the monopole radiation oscillator (3), the two feed ports (6) are respectively connected to two side edges of the half slot (4), and the other ends of the two feed ports (6) vertically penetrate through the dielectric substrate (1) and are respectively connected to two sides of the metal connecting part (5);
the two feed ports (6) are respectively and electrically connected with the feed circuit; when the feed line carries out even-mode feed through the two feed ports (6), the planar monopole antenna unit works and radiates vertical polarized waves; when the feed line is fed in odd mode through two feed ports (6), the half-slot antenna element operates and radiates a horizontally polarized wave.
