Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the invention can be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for counting viewing duration, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes determining whether a received viewing termination signal exists between viewing start time and viewing termination time included in viewing duration data, and further performing data cleaning on the viewing duration data according to a time point of the received viewing termination signal, where the method includes the following specific steps:
101. and acquiring viewing duration data corresponding to the viewing behaviors of the user.
The viewing duration data refers to viewing duration data generated by one-time viewing behavior of a user on a television channel, namely viewing duration data generated by one-time viewing behavior of the television channel between starting time of the user entering the television channel and leaving time of a switching channel when the user watches the television.
The viewing duration data at least comprises a viewing starting time and a viewing ending time. The viewing starting time refers to the time when a user enters a television channel to start viewing the television program on the current television channel when watching the television, and the viewing ending time refers to the time corresponding to the viewing behavior that the user finishes the current television channel by switching the channel or the time when the set top box is closed on the current television channel to stop viewing the television.
In the embodiment of the invention, the counting of the one-time watching duration of the user on the current channel can be realized according to the starting time of the user for watching the television program by entering the television channel and the ending time of the watching behavior of the user for switching the channel to end the current channel, or the counting of the one-time watching duration of the user on the current channel can be realized according to the starting time of the user for watching the television program by entering the television channel and the time corresponding to the turn-off signal returned by the set top box when the user stops watching the television. The embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the method for counting viewing duration data.
102. And judging whether a viewing termination signal is collected in a time period from the viewing starting time to the viewing ending time.
The receiving termination signal is a television shutdown signal or a set top box power-off signal.
In the embodiment of the invention, whether an audience stop signal is received between the audience start time and the audience stop time included in the audience time length data is judged, the audience stop signal is a television shutdown signal or a set top box power-off signal, when the audience stop signal is not received in the time slot, the audience time length of the behavior of not actually watching television by the user does not exist in the time slot, when the audience stop signal is received in the time slot, the audience time length of the behavior of not actually watching television by the user in the time slot can be determined, correspondingly, the audience time length data is inaccurate, and the behavior of not actually watching television by the user is that the power supply of the television or the set top box of the cut-off machine is only closed when the user stops watching television, so that the shutdown signal of the set top box is not returned, and the television monitoring system can not acquire the shutdown signal of the set top box, the viewing behavior that the user is always in the viewing state is still considered.
103. And if the collected viewing termination signal is judged to be collected in the time period from the viewing starting time to the viewing ending time, recording the time point corresponding to the collected viewing termination signal.
The time corresponding to the viewing termination signal refers to a time point corresponding to the television shutdown signal or the set top box power-off signal received between the viewing start time and the viewing end time included in the viewing duration data.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the viewing termination signal is received between the viewing start time and the viewing end time, it may be determined that the viewing duration during which the non-user actually views the television exists within the time period, and accordingly, the viewing duration data is inaccurate, and therefore, a time point corresponding to the collected viewing termination signal needs to be recorded so as to clean the viewing duration data.
104. And cleaning the viewing duration data according to the time point corresponding to the viewing termination signal.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the time point corresponding to the viewing termination signal is recorded, it may be determined that the user has turned off the television or has cut off the power supply of the set-top box at the time point, and accordingly, the viewing duration generated after the time point is not actually viewed by the user, but only the television monitoring system does not receive the power-off signal of the set-top box, so that the set-top box is considered to be still working, and then, according to the time point corresponding to the viewing termination signal, the viewing duration data may be cleaned, and the viewing duration not actually viewed by the user is deleted.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for counting the watching duration, the embodiment of the invention determines whether the situation that a user stops watching TV in the time period occurs by searching whether a watching termination signal exists between the watching start time and the watching end time included in the watching duration data, wherein the watching termination signal can comprise a TV off signal or a set top box power-off signal, compared with the prior art, the prior method only judges whether the user stops watching TV according to the received set top box power-off signal, the embodiment of the invention can also judge whether the user stops watching TV according to other monitored watching termination signals such as the TV off signal and the set top box power-off signal, and when the termination signal is searched between the watching start time and the watching end time included in the watching duration data, the method and the device can further perform data cleaning on the collected viewing duration data, so that the cleaned viewing duration data can more accurately reflect the viewing behaviors of the user.
To explain the above embodiments in more detail, another method for counting viewing duration is provided in the embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, the method determines the number of viewing termination signals received between the viewing start time and the viewing end time included in the viewing duration data, and further determines that there are several segments of viewing durations during which the non-user actually views the television within the time period, and performs data cleaning on the viewing durations, and the following specific steps are provided in the embodiments of the present invention:
201. and acquiring viewing duration data corresponding to the viewing behaviors of the user.
The viewing duration data refers to viewing duration data generated by one-time viewing behavior of a user on a television channel, namely viewing duration data generated by one-time viewing behavior of the television channel between starting time of the user entering the television channel and leaving time of a switching channel when the user watches the television.
The viewing duration data at least comprises viewing starting time and viewing ending time;
in the embodiment of the present invention, the viewing duration data corresponding to the viewing behavior of the user is obtained, please refer to step 101, which is not described herein again.
In the embodiment of the present invention, in the obtained viewing duration data corresponding to the viewing behavior of the user, not every piece of viewing duration data includes a viewing duration corresponding to a non-user actual viewing behavior. And the non-user actual watching behavior refers to a watching behavior that when the user stops watching the television, the power supply of the television is only turned off or the set top box is cut off, so that the set top box power-off signal is not returned, and further, the television monitoring system cannot acquire the set top box power-off signal and still thinks that the user is always in a watching state. Therefore, in order to improve the processing of the viewing duration data, it is not necessary to clean each piece of viewing duration data, or to screen the viewing duration data that preferentially needs data cleaning from the viewing duration data, specifically, the viewing duration data may be primarily screened by either one of the following two methods or by both of the following two methods:
firstly, judging whether the viewing duration data is smaller than a first preset viewing duration, if so, determining the viewing duration data smaller than the first preset viewing duration as first invalid viewing data, and deleting the first invalid viewing data.
The first preset viewing duration refers to a duration that a user stays in a current channel for a short time due to frequent channel switching or frequent television switching, and the duration is not a real viewing intention of the user, so that when the obtained viewing duration data is less than the first preset viewing duration, the viewing duration data can be directly deleted.
And secondly, judging whether the viewing duration data is greater than a second preset viewing duration, if so, determining the viewing duration data greater than the second preset viewing duration as second invalid viewing data, and deleting the second invalid viewing data.
The second preset viewing duration is greater than the first preset viewing duration, and the second preset viewing duration refers to a viewing duration with too long viewing duration data monitored by the television monitoring system, for example, 24 hours, which is the viewing duration generated when a user watches television unconventionally, for example, the habit of the user stopping watching television is to only turn off the television but not turn off the set top box or directly cut off the power supply of the set top box, if the television monitoring system cannot receive a returned set top box shutdown signal, the user is still considered to be watching television all the time, so that the behavior of the user watching television unconventionally is timed all the time.
In the embodiment of the invention, when judging whether the viewing duration data is greater than the second preset viewing duration, determining that the viewing duration data needs to be cleaned, determining the viewing duration data greater than the second preset viewing duration as second invalid viewing data, and deleting the second invalid viewing data.
202. And judging whether a viewing termination signal is collected in a time period from the viewing starting time to the viewing ending time.
The receiving termination signal is a television shutdown signal or a set top box power-off signal.
In the embodiment of the present invention, it is determined whether a viewing termination signal is collected in a time period from a viewing start time to a viewing end time, please refer to step 102 specifically, which is not described herein again.
204. And cleaning the viewing duration data according to the time point corresponding to the viewing termination signal.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the specific step of cleaning the viewing duration data according to the time point corresponding to the viewing termination signal is as follows:
and determining the number of the audience stop signals after the audience stop signals are collected, and determining the time point of collecting the audience stop signals as the audience stop time point when the number of the audience stop signals is determined to be one. And deleting the watching time length from the watching termination time point to the watching termination time in the watching time length data.
The viewing termination time point refers to the time corresponding to a television shutdown signal or a set top box power-off signal received between the viewing start time and the viewing termination time included in the viewing duration data, for example, when the time period corresponding to the viewing duration data is 9:00-10:00, a viewing termination signal is received in the time period, and the corresponding receiving time is 9:50, it indicates that the user has terminated viewing at 9:50, the viewing termination time point is determined at 9:50, the method for cleaning the viewing duration data is to delete the viewing duration of 9:50-10:00, and the corresponding viewing duration data reflecting the actual viewing behavior of the user is the viewing duration data of 9:00-9: 50.
Further, another method for cleaning the viewing duration data according to the time point corresponding to the viewing termination signal is provided in the embodiments of the present invention, which includes the following specific steps:
when the number of the audience stop signals is determined to be multiple, whether the audience restart signals are collected in a time period is detected, the audience restart signals are television starting signals or set top box power-on signals, the audience stop signals and the audience restart signals are paired according to the time sequence of the collected audience stop signals, each audience stop signal and the audience restart signal which is behind the audience stop signal and adjacent to the audience stop signal are in a pair, and the audience duration between each pair of the audience stop signals and the audience restart signals in the audience duration data is deleted.
Wherein, when determining that there are a plurality of received viewing termination signals, it can be determined that there are a plurality of user on/off television or set-top box power-on/off behaviors between the viewing start time and the viewing end time, so that it is necessary to detect a viewing restart signal corresponding to the viewing termination signal in the time period, the viewing restart signal being a television on signal or set-top box power-on signal, whereby, the viewing duration between each pair of viewing restart signals and its corresponding viewing termination signal is generated by the actual viewing behavior of the user, and according to the sequence of the collected viewing termination signals, the viewing duration between each viewing termination signal and the adjacent viewing restart signal after the collected viewing termination signal time is the duration generated by the actual viewing behavior of the non-user, when cleaning the viewing duration data, the viewing duration generated by the actual viewing behavior of the non-user can be directly generated.
205. And summing the cleaned viewing time data to obtain a statistical result of the viewing time.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the viewing behavior data of the user is multiple, after the viewing duration data is cleaned, summing processing may be performed on the cleaned viewing duration data, for example, the viewing durations generated by multiple viewing behaviors of the user on a television channel are counted, so as to obtain the total viewing duration of a television program watched by the user on the television channel within a period of time. The method for counting the viewing time length on the television channel in the embodiment of the invention is not limited.
