Background
As society pays more attention to health, modern people increasingly know the importance of sports health care, and in order to make the body have moderate sports, a plurality of fitness equipment appear on the market, so that busy workers can conveniently do indoor sports. Among these exercise machines, the rowing device is one of the major categories. The device simulates the movement of the paddle to achieve the effect of body building, and the paddle needs to be applied to the positions of legs, arms, the back, the abdomen, the hip and the like at the same time, so that the device has great movement amplitude and can effectively exercise the muscle strength.
Referring to fig. 1, a conventional rowing apparatus 1 includes a base 11, a seat 12, two paddles 13, two hydraulic links 14, and two pedals 15. The base 11 has a slide rail 111 extending forward and backward, and a U-shaped side frame 112 disposed on the slide rail 111. The seat 12 is slidably disposed on the slide rail 111 in the front-rear direction. The paddle rods 13 are respectively pivoted on the left and right sides of the side frame 112, and each paddle rod 13 has a holding section 131 for being held by a person and an extending section 132 extending downwards from the holding section 131 and pivotally provided on the side frame 112. Opposite ends of the hydraulic link 14 are connected to the extension 132 and the side frame 112, respectively, for providing a movement resistance to the respective paddle shaft 13. The footrests 15 are provided on the side frames 112.
In use, an operator sits on the seat 12, and holds the holding section 131 with two hands and feet and steps on the pedals 15. During force application, the pedals 15 are treaded by force with both feet, and the paddle rods 13 are pulled backwards by both hands simultaneously so as to overcome the movement resistance generated by the oil pressure connecting rod 14; when the back is pulled to the limit, the paddle rod 13 is pushed forward again to return to the original position. The operator can exercise the muscle force by repeating the steps of pulling and returning to the original position.
However, in actual rowing, since the directions of the forces applied by the two hands of the rowing person are inclined inward, the muscular strength of the chest and back can be effectively utilized. However, the paddle 13 of the rowing machine 1 is vertically pivoted to the side frame 112, and can only swing vertically in the forward and backward directions, and thus cannot effectively simulate the actual rowing motion, so that the muscle training effect is poor, and there is a need for improvement.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 2, 3 and 4, an embodiment of the rowing exercise device of the present invention includes a base unit 2, a seat 3, two rowing units 4, two transmission units 5, a resistance unit 6, and two return units 7.
The base unit 2 includes a main base 21 and two carrying bases 22. The main seat 21 extends in the front-rear direction, and has a front frame 211, a rear frame 212, a slide rail 213 connecting the front frame 211 and the rear frame 212, and two pedals 214 disposed on the front frame 211. The front frame 211 has a receiving space 215. The load-bearing seats 22 are disposed on the front frame 211 of the main seat 21 and extend outward from the main seat 21 in a generally horizontal direction. Each carrier 22 has a sleeve 221 and a link 222 capable of swinging. The bushing 221 extends outwardly and downwardly away from the main seat 21. Each link 222 has a rod 223, and a first rod end bearing 224 and a second rod end bearing 225 disposed at opposite ends of the rod 223. Both the first rod end bearing 224 and the second rod end bearing 225 are capable of rotating about the axis of the stem 223 itself. The first rod end bearing 224 is pivotally mounted to the outer side of the bushing 221. In the present embodiment, both the first and second rod end bearings 224, 225 are fisheye rod end bearings.
The seat 3 is slidably provided on the slide rail 213 of the main seat 21 in the front-rear direction. The seat 3 includes a seat frame 31, a seat cushion 32 disposed on the seat frame 31, and a plurality of rollers 33. The seat frame 31 has two extension sections 311 extending downward. The extension portions 311 are respectively located at the left and right sides of the slide rail 213. The roller 33 is disposed on the extension 311 and can roll in the slide rail 213.
The rowing units 4 are respectively located at left and right sides of the main base 21. Each of the rowing units 4 includes a guide rod 41 and a paddle rod 42. The guide rod 41 extends outwardly and downwardly away from the main seat 21 and has a self-axis L1. The guiding rod 41 is movably disposed in the sleeve 221 of the bearing seat 22, and can move in the sleeve 221 along the direction of the self axis L1 and can spin around the self axis L1. The paddle shaft 42 has a grip section 421 for grasping by a user's hand, and an inclined section 422. The grip section 421 has a grip area 423 extending inwardly, and an extension area 424 extending from the grip area 423 toward the carrying seat 22. The inclined section 422 extends outwards and downwards from the bottom end of the extension area 424 of the holding section 421, and the bottom of the inclined section 422 has a first contact 425 and a second contact 426 which are spaced apart. The first contact 425 and the second contact 426 are portions of the inclined section 422 for pivotal connection. The first contact 425 is pivotally connected to the second rod end bearing 225 of the carrier 22 via a first pivot rod 43. The second contact 426 is pivoted to the guide rod 41 by a second pivot rod 44.
When the paddle 42 is operated to rotate around the first pivot rod 43 at the first contact 425, the guide rod 41 is driven to move along the axis L1. The guiding rod 41 is actively disposed in the sleeve 221 of the bearing seat 22, because the guiding rod 41 and the sleeve 221 extend outward and downward, the disposition direction limits the pivot angle between the paddle 42 and the guiding rod 41. As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the axis of the second pivot rod 44 extends outward and upward and is perpendicular to the guide rod 41, so that the paddle rod 42 is limited by the moving direction of the guide rod 41 during swinging, and an angle inclined inward is generated. Furthermore, because the guiding rod 41 is disposed in the casing 221 and can rotate around its own axis L1 in the casing 221, the paddle rod 42 can also rotate around the own axis L1 of the guiding rod 41 and turn outwards, this configuration allows the paddle rod 42 to have a freedom of turning outwards when actually swinging, and more simulates the operation of actual paddling.
Each transmission unit 5 is connected to a respective paddle unit 4 to transmit the resistance created by the resistance unit 6 to the paddle shaft 42. Each transmission unit 5 has a first transmission disc 51, a first belt 52, a second transmission disc 53 and a second belt 54. The first driving disk 51 is rotatably disposed on the carrier 22 and has a tape axis 511 and a tape disk 512 connected vertically and coaxially. The tape reel axis 511 is located above the carrier 22, and the tape reel 512 is located below the carrier 22. The radius of the tape reel 512 is larger than the tape axis 511. The tape core 511 is wound by the first tape 52 and connected to the guide bar 41 of the rowing unit 4. The second transmission plate 53 is rotatably disposed on the main seat 21 and has a take-up roller 531 and a take-up roller 532 connected in parallel. The tape roller 531 is wound by the second tape 54 and connected to the tape disc 512 of the first drive disk 51. The second transmission discs 53 of the transmission unit 5 are coupled to each other by axial coupling.
The resistance unit 6 includes a flywheel 61, a drive disc 62, a drive belt 63, and a resistance adjustment mechanism 64. The flywheel 61 is a one-way wheel rotatably disposed in the accommodating space 215 of the main base 21 and has an axis 611. The drive disc 62 is connected to the second transmission disc 53 of one of the transmission units 5. The driving belt 63 is annular and is sleeved on the axis 611 of the flywheel 61 and the periphery of the driving disc 62. The resistance adjusting mechanism 64 is disposed on the main base 21 corresponding to the flywheel 61, and is used for adjusting the resistance of the flywheel 61 during rotation. It should be noted that the flywheel 61 can be replaced by other equivalent objects, such as: the fan wheel and the resistance unit 6 can additionally be connected to a power generating device (not shown) for generating electricity by rotation of the flywheel 61. The aforementioned power generation device is already in the prior art and will not be described herein.
The restoring units 7 are respectively connected to the transmission units 5 and respectively provide a restoring force to the rowing units 4. Each return unit 7 comprises two spaced fixed pulleys 71 and a tension cord 72. The fixed pulley 71 is rotatably provided on one side of the front frame 211 of the main frame 21. One end of the tension rope 72 is fixedly disposed on the main seat 21, and then wound around the fixed pulley 71, and the other end is connected to the winding roller 532 of the second transmission disc 53.
When the user pulls the paddle 42 to move the guiding rod 41 along its own axis L1, the first belt 52 is pulled, the first driving plate 51 is rotated, and the second driving plate 53 is pulled by the second belt 54, the second driving plate 53 starts to wind the tension rope 72, and the driving plate 62 is rotated to rotate the flywheel 61. When the user releases the paddle 42, the pull string 72 provides a restoring force to the second transmission plate 53, and the restoring force is transmitted through the second belt 54, the first transmission plate 51 and the first belt 52 to the guiding rod 41, so that the guiding rod 42 is driven to return to the original position and be placed forwards (see fig. 4).
The structure and the operation relationship of the components of the present embodiment have been described above, and the actual operation will be further described below.
Referring to fig. 4, 5 and 6, a user (not shown) sits on the seat 3 and grasps the handle portion 423 of the paddle shaft 42 with his or her hands. In the initial state, the grip 423 of the paddle shaft 42 is positioned above the front frame 211 and is oriented in a forward direction. When the paddle 42 is pulled backward, the hand-held portion 423 of the paddle 42 is inclined and gradually moved inward due to the arrangement direction of the guiding rod 41 and the pivot angle between the guiding rod and the paddle 42, so that the user can simulate the force application manner during actual paddling. When the user pulls the paddle lever 42 backwards until it is not pulled, the position shown in solid lines in fig. 5 and 6 is reached.
When a user pulls the paddle rod 42, the resistance generated by the resistance unit 6 is transferred into the paddle rod 42 by the transmission unit 5, so that the resistance generated by the paddle rod rubbing the water body during rowing can be simulated.
Referring to fig. 4 and 7, when the user wants to return to the position of the paddle 42, the grip 423 can be turned outward (as shown in fig. 7) and moved forward until the grip 423 of the paddle 42 is located forward (as shown in fig. 4). Therefore, the resetting movement in the actual rowing process is simulated. At this time, since the tensile cord 72 additionally provides a restoring force, the user can more quickly return to the original position and perform the operation of pulling the paddle lever 42 again. Therefore, the muscle strength can be effectively exercised by the user only needing to repeatedly carry out the operations of pulling the oar and resetting.
From the above description, the advantages of the present invention can be summarized as follows:
firstly, the extending direction of the guide rod 41 limits the swinging mode of the paddle rod 42, when a user pulls the paddle rod 42, the user can move in the inclined inward and upward direction, and the swinging mode is close to the actual rowing action, so that the chest and back muscle strength is effectively used, and the muscle strength training effect is improved.
Secondly, the guide rod 41 effectively limits the moving track of the paddle rod 42, so that when an operator pulls the paddle rod 42, the paddle rod 42 moves along a fixed track, the force application dispersion can be avoided, and the muscle strength training effect can be improved.
Thirdly, the connecting rod 222 allows the paddle rod 42 to swing upwards, so that the paddle rods 42 can rotate around the own axes L1 of the guide rods 41, and the paddle rod 42 can simulate the reset action mode during the rowing.
Fourth, the radius of the tape center 511 of the first driving disk 51 is smaller than that of the tape disk 512, so that a larger force is required to pull the tape center 511 if the torque for pulling the tape disk 512 is equal to the torque for pulling the tape disk 512. With this arrangement, the resistance unit 6 provides only a slight resistance to the paddle shaft 42, which the operator needs to exert, and thus the load range can be expanded to meet the needs of the high-strength exerciser.
In summary, the guiding rod 41 is configured to limit the swinging manner of the paddle rod 42, so as to simulate the actual rowing action, thereby improving the muscle strength training effect. Therefore, the object of the present invention can be achieved.
The above description is only an example of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention should not be limited thereby, and the invention is still within the scope of the present invention by simple equivalent changes and modifications made according to the claims and the contents of the specification.
