Description

Terminal device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a terminal device.
Background
With the development of the terminal device industry, people expect that the screen size of the terminal device is as large as possible, for example, the screen size of a smart phone is developed from the first 3.5 inches to the current 6 inches or even 7 inches. Even with the current screen, the use requirements of people for watching screens, reading books and the like cannot be met; on the other hand, the larger the screen, the larger the size of the terminal device, and the more inconvenient it is to carry, thus creating a contradiction between the larger screen requirement and the portability.
In order to solve the above-mentioned contradiction, the foldable flexible display screen comes along. Referring to fig. 1 to 4, the conventional terminal device includes a first housing 110, a second housing 120, a hinge 130, and a flexible display 140, wherein the first housing 110 and the second housing 120 are hinged by the hinge 130, the flexible display 140 is disposed on the first housing 110 and the second housing 120, and the hinge 130 is located below the flexible display 140. The folding and unfolding of the terminal device can be achieved by the relative rotation of the first housing 110 and the second housing 120.
With the above-described structure, the flexible display screen 140 has a greater length in the folded state (i.e., the state shown in fig. 1 and 2) than in the unfolded state (i.e., the state shown in fig. 3 and 4). Since the flexible display 140 is not elastic in the length direction, if the flexible display 140 is in a natural state in a folded state, a folded portion 141 appears in an unfolded state, as shown in fig. 3 and 4; if the flexible display 140 is in its natural state in the unfolded state, it will be stretched and easily damaged in the folded state, resulting in a short life span.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the technical solutions of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the specific embodiments of the present invention and the accompanying drawings. It is to be understood that the described embodiments are merely exemplary of the invention, and not restrictive of the full scope of the invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The technical solutions disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 5 to 11, the embodiment of the invention discloses a terminal device, which includes a housing 210, a first elastic reset element 220, a flexible display 230, a first locking element 250 and a second locking element 260. The housing 210 is a mounting base for other components of the terminal device. The first elastic reset element 220 is disposed in the housing 210, and can be deformed after being stressed and can be restored to be deformed after the acting force is removed. The first elastic reset member 220 has a first end and a second end, one end of the flexible display screen 230 is connected to the first end of the first elastic reset member 220, the other end of the flexible display screen 230 may be a free end, and the first elastic reset member 220 may apply an acting force to the flexible display screen 230 when it is restored to be deformed. The flexible display 230 has an expanded state and a retracted state, in the expanded state, at least a portion of the flexible display 230 is located outside the housing 210 for a user to use the flexible display 230; in the storage state, at least a portion of the flexible display screen 230 is wound in the housing 210 under the action of the first elastic restoring element 220.
The first locking member 250 is connected to the second end of the first elastic restoring member 220, and the first locking member 250 moves along with the first elastic restoring member 220 in the process of deforming. The second locking member 260 is movably connected to the housing 210, so that the second locking member 260 is engaged with or disengaged from the first locking member 250. Specifically, when the first locking member 250 is in positioning engagement with the second locking member 260, at least a portion of the flexible display 230 is located outside the housing 210; when the first latch 250 is separated from the second latch 260, at least a portion of the flexible display screen 230 is wound in the housing 210 under the action of the first elastic reset element 220.
After the structure is adopted, when a user needs to use the flexible display screen 230, the flexible display screen 230 is pulled out, and at the moment, the first locking piece 250 is in positioning fit with the second locking piece 260, so that the flexible display screen 230 keeps an unfolded state; after the use, the first locking member 250 is separated from the second locking member 260, and the flexible display screen 230 is wound and stored in the housing 210 under the action of the first elastic resetting member 220. Because the flexible display screen 230 adopts the mode of coiling setting, its coiling radius is great, therefore when the flexible display screen 230 switches between accomodate the state and the expansion state, its length does not change basically, neither can appear the fold, also can not appear because of being stretched the problem of damage, and then extension flexible display screen 230's life-span.
In addition, after the flexible display screen 230 adopts a winding installation mode, the space occupied by the flexible display screen 230 after being stored is smaller, so that the terminal equipment is more convenient to carry. Therefore, the flexible display screen 230 can be set to be larger, so as to better meet the use requirement of a user for a large screen.
The first elastic restoring member 220 may adopt a plurality of springs with relatively thin and relatively large elasticity, but such a structure may cause the flexible display 230 not to be completely accommodated or cause the portion of the flexible display 230 that can be pulled out to be less. Therefore, in the embodiment of the present invention, the first elastic restoring member 220 may be a coil spring wound in the housing 210, and one end of the coil spring is fixed with respect to the housing 210 and the other end thereof is connected to one end of the flexible display screen 230. In the stored state, the coil spring is located inside the flexible display 230, that is, in this state, the flexible display 230 is wound outside the coil spring. The coil spring is of a winding structure, and has moderate elasticity, so that more parts of the flexible display screen 230 can be pulled out, and meanwhile, enough pulling force can be generated when the flexible display screen 230 is stored.
In order to make the state of the coil spring more stable, as shown in fig. 9, the terminal apparatus may further include a rotation shaft 240 rotatably provided in the housing 210, the coil spring is wound around the rotation shaft 240, and one end of the coil spring is fixed to the rotation shaft 240. The shaft 240 can limit the position of the coil spring to achieve the aforementioned object.
In an alternative embodiment, the first locking member 250 may be a locking wheel having a first outer peripheral surface with a locking groove 251. In the deployed state, the second lock member 260 is in positioning engagement with the lock groove 251. When a user pulls the flexible display screen 230, the rotating shaft 240 rotates along with the flexible display screen, and then the locking wheel is driven to rotate, at this time, the second locking member 260 is located outside the locking groove 251, and is not in positioning fit with the locking groove 251, so that the locking wheel can rotate continuously. When the flexible display 230 is unfolded in place, the second locking member 260 is in positioning fit with the locking groove 251, so that the locking wheel cannot rotate reversely, thereby limiting the rotation of the rotating shaft 240, and finally enabling the flexible display 230 to be kept in the unfolded state. It can be seen that under the action of the locking wheel and the second locking member 260, the user does not need to pull the flexible display screen 230 all the time in the unfolded state, so that the user experience of the terminal device is better.
The locking groove 251 may be provided only one, and may be provided corresponding to a maximum position where the flexible display 230 can be unfolded and the flexible display 230 is unfolded and stopped. However, the degree of expansion of the flexible display 230 required by the user in different usage scenarios may be different, and in order to facilitate the flexible display 230 to stay at different positions, a plurality of locking grooves 251 may be formed in the first outer circumferential surface of the locking wheel, and each locking groove 251 is arranged along the rotation direction of the locking wheel. As shown in fig. 5 and 7, which are two unfolded states of the flexible display 230.
It should be noted that, in the process of unfolding the flexible display 230, even if the second locking member 260 falls into the locking groove 251, the locking groove 251 can push the second locking member 260 out of the locking groove 251 through its inner wall, so that the second locking member 260 does not affect the unfolding of the flexible display 230.
Further, the locking grooves 251 may be uniformly arranged along the rotation direction of the locking wheel, and the specific structure of the locking wheel may be similar to a gear.
In an alternative embodiment, in order to facilitate the second locking member 260 to cooperate with the locking wheel, the second locking member 260 may specifically include a rod 261 and a hook 262 connected to each other, the end of the rod 261 remote from the hook 262 is connected to the casing 210 through the hinge shaft 310, the hook 262 protrudes relative to the rod 261, and the hook 262 engages with the locking groove 251 when the first locking member 250 is positioned and cooperated with the second locking member 260. Of course, the rod 261 can be movably connected to the casing 210, and relatively speaking, when the rod 261 is connected to the casing 210 through the hinge shaft 310, the second locking member 260 can be engaged with the locking wheel more easily. In addition, in order to facilitate the arrangement of the respective components of the terminal apparatus, the rotation axis of the locking wheel may be parallel to the rotation axis of the second locking member 260.
As can be seen from the above, when the flexible display 230 is in the unfolded state, the second locking member 260 is in positioning engagement with the locking groove 251, and when the flexible display 230 needs to be stored, the positioning state between the second locking member 260 and the locking groove 251 needs to be released. At this time, the second lock member 260 may be driven to rotate by an electric motor or the like. However, this method may lead to a complicated structure of the terminal device, and therefore, in order to simplify the structure of the terminal device, an unlocking lever 270 may be further provided, where one end of the unlocking lever 270 is connected (specifically, rotatably connected) to the lever 261, and the other end of the unlocking lever 270 may directly extend out of the housing 210, so that a user may apply a force to the unlocking lever 270, and the unlocking lever 270 may transmit an unlocking force, which makes the hook portion 262 far away from the locking groove 251, to the second locking member 260. The connection point of the release lever 270 and the lever body 261 is located between the hook 262 and the hinge shaft 310 to improve the compactness of the structure within the terminal device. Therefore, when the flexible display screen 230 needs to be stored, only acting force needs to be applied to the unlocking lever 270, the unlocking lever 270 can push the second locking member 260 to rotate, then the hook portion 262 is separated from the locking groove 251, the rotation of the locking wheel is not limited, and the flexible display screen 230 is stored in the machine shell 210 under the action of the first elastic resetting member 220.
In an alternative embodiment, the housing 210 may be a cylindrical structure, and more particularly, may be a cylindrical structure. The housing 210 has a second outer circumferential surface, a first end surface connected to one end of the second outer circumferential surface, and a second end surface connected to the other end of the second outer circumferential surface, the second outer circumferential surface is provided with a through hole for the flexible display 230 to pass through, the flexible display 230 can be unfolded or stored through the through hole, and the through hole is generally a strip-shaped hole. To facilitate the operation of the unlocking lever 270, an unlocking button 280 may be disposed on the first end surface, and the unlocking button 280 is connected to an end of the unlocking lever 270 away from the rod 261, so that a user can apply a force to the unlocking lever 270 through the unlocking button 280 to move the unlocking lever 270 to push the second locking member 260. Further, this unlock button 280 may also enable the flexible display 230 to be turned on and off at the same time. For example, the unlock button 280 may be a slide button that applies a force to the unlock lever 270 at a first position during sliding of itself and enables the flexible display 230 to be turned on and off at a second position.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 5-7, the terminal device further includes an auxiliary display 290, where the auxiliary display 290 is disposed on the second peripheral surface of the housing 210, and can display some notification information, incoming call information, etc. of the terminal device, so that the user can complete operations such as viewing the notification information, answering the incoming call, adjusting the volume, etc. through the auxiliary display 290. In addition, the second outer circumferential surface of the housing 210 may further be opened with a camera accommodating hole 211 to facilitate a photographing operation. The second end of the housing 210 may be opened with at least one sound outlet 212 and at least one microphone hole 213, the sound outlet 212 may be used for speaker sound outlet, the microphone hole 213 may be used for transmitting sound signal to the microphone, and the two are disposed at an interval. Alternatively, one sound emitting hole 212 may be provided, the position of the sound emitting hole 212 may be flexibly set, and the microphone hole 213 may be provided in plural.
After the storage operation is completed, the acting force applied to the unlocking rod 270 by the user is removed, and the second locking member 260 can return to the state of being matched with the locking groove 251 under the action of the self gravity, so as to lock the flexible display screen 230 in the next unfolding process. However, the reliability of the reset by only gravity is poor, so as shown in fig. 9 and 10, the terminal device further includes a second elastic reset member 300, the second elastic reset member 300 may be configured as a spring, one end of the second elastic reset member 300 is connected to the housing 210, and the other end of the second elastic reset member 300 is connected to the rod 261, and the second elastic reset member 300 and the unlocking lever 270 may be located on the same side of the rod 261. When the unlocking lever 270 transmits acting force to the second locking member 260, the second elastic restoring member 300 is in a stretching state; when the unlocking lever 270 no longer transmits a force to the second locking member 260, the second locking member 260 approaches the locking groove 251 and is in positioning engagement with the locking groove 251 by the second elastic restoring member 300. Of course, in the embodiment without the unlocking lever 270, the second elastic restoring member 300 can transmit the force to the second locking member 260, so that the second elastic restoring member can be more reliably positioned and matched with the locking groove 251.
In an alternative embodiment, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, the flexible display 230 includes a flexible display portion 231 and a supporting plate 232 connected to the flexible display portion 231, and the supporting plate 232 includes a supporting portion 232a applying a supporting force to the flexible display portion 231, which may be a stainless steel sheet. The support sheet 232 itself also has some flexibility, and thus can be unfolded and stored together with the flexible display portion 231. Meanwhile, the support sheet has suitable rigidity and can support the flexible display portion 231, so that the flexible display portion 231 is more flat, and a user can conveniently perform related operations on the flexible display portion 231 after the flexible display screen 230 is unfolded.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 11, in the thickness direction of the flexible display portion 231 (i.e., the X direction in fig. 11), the projection plane of the flexible display portion 231 coincides with the projection plane of the support sheet 232. That is, the support sheet 232 is substantially the same size as the flexible display portion 231. In another embodiment, as shown in fig. 12, the supporting piece 232 may further include a position-limiting portion 232b, the position-limiting portion 232b is connected to an end of the supporting portion 232a, and the position-limiting portion 232b is in positioning fit with the flexible display portion 231 in a width direction (i.e., a Y direction in fig. 5 and 12) of the flexible display portion 231. That is, the supporting sheet 232 extends to the side of the flexible display portion 231, so as to position and cooperate the flexible display portion 231, and prevent the layers of the flexible display portion 231 from being layered or even torn due to relative displacement.
In a further embodiment, the supporting portion 232a may include a supporting body 232aa and a filling portion 232ab, the filling portion 232ab being disposed between the flexible display portion 231 and the supporting body 232 aa. The supporting body 232aa may be made of a stainless material, and the filling portion 232ab may be a heat dissipation material to improve the heat dissipation performance of the flexible display panel 230. The filler 232ab may also be a buffer material to improve the impact resistance of the flexible display 230. Of course, the filling portion 232ab may contain both of these materials, and may be filled with other materials.
In order to better support the flexible display portion 231, a surface of the supporting portion 232a facing away from the flexible display portion 231 is an arc-shaped surface. Specifically, a side of the support portion 232a facing away from the flexible display portion 231 is an arc-shaped side as viewed in the extending direction of the flexible display screen 230. Such a support portion 232a can more reliably prevent the edge of the flexible display 230 from collapsing, etc., so that the flexible display portion 231 is more flat after being unfolded.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the flexible display 230 is generally unfolded and stored for a plurality of times, so that in order to facilitate the user to pull out the flexible display 230, one end of the flexible display 230 can be always located outside the housing 210. To more conveniently achieve this, the terminal device may further include an operating part 320 located outside the housing 210, wherein the operating part 320 is connected to one end of the flexible display 230, thereby preventing the flexible display 230 from being entirely received in the housing 210. When the flexible display screen 230 needs to be stretched, the user directly applies a force to the operation portion 320, so as to drive the flexible display screen 230 to unfold. Specifically, the operating portion 320 may be a rod-shaped structure, an L-shaped plate-shaped structure, and the like, which is not limited in this embodiment of the invention.
The terminal device disclosed by the embodiment of the invention can be a smart phone, a tablet computer, an electronic book reader or a wearable device. Of course, the terminal device may also be other devices, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto.
In the above embodiments of the present invention, the difference between the embodiments is mainly described, and different optimization features between the embodiments can be combined to form a better embodiment as long as they are not contradictory, and further description is omitted here in view of brevity of the text.
The above description is only an example of the present invention, and is not intended to limit the present invention. Various modifications and alterations to this invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement, etc. made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the scope of the claims of the present invention.
