The panel 20 is supported on the support portion 10, a through hole (a through hole is located in the middle of the outer cover 30) is formed in the outer cover 30, a portion of the panel 20 is exposed from the through hole, and the outer cover 30 is circumferentially disposed on the outer side of the panel 20 along the circumferential direction of the panel 20 and wraps the outer edge of the panel 20.

2. The panel assembly of claim 1, wherein the panel has an area larger than the through hole, the panel covers the through hole, and the outer edge of the panel is in the range of 0.5-20mm from the width of the edge of the through hole.
3. The panel assembly of claim 1, wherein the panel is formed as a polygon, the panel having a plurality of vertices and a plurality of sides.
4. The panel assembly of claim 1, wherein the outer cover is snap-fit to the support portion.
5. The panel assembly of claim 3, wherein the inner cover circumscribes the plurality of edges.
6. The panel assembly of claim 1, wherein the outer cover and the inner cover are snap-fit to each other.
7. The panel assembly of claim 1, wherein the hem portion defines the through-hole.
8. The panel unit according to any of claims 1-7, wherein the panel is a glass panel.
9. A cooking appliance comprising the panel assembly according to any one of claims 1-8.
